Things I May Not Repurchase!

L-R
(first four swatches) Primark Palette | £1 | Primark
NO7 Face Primer | £11 | Boots.co.uk or Boots
Soap And Glory Scrub Your Nose In It | £7.99 | Boots
MUA Eye Primer | £1 | Superdrug Or Superdrug.co.uk / MUAstore.co.uk
MUA Pressed Powder | £1 | MUAstore.co.uk , Superdrug or Superdrug.co.uk

Hello pretties!

Today's post is based on products that I wouldn't repurchase. These products haven't been used much and if they have, I didn't like them. Some of them might feature on my Blog Sale section, so check it out if you have your eye on anything!

Primark Quad | £1 | Primark
I love the shades! I love how they're pastel coloured and I really wanted some eye shadow's like these. I've only swatched them twice and they don't seem to be very pigmented. I don't think they'd create a strong, pastel eye so I haven't bothered to use them. I might give them a go soon, if I don't like them I'll feature it on my blog sale!

No7 Face Primer | £11 | Boots / Boots.co.uk
Simple reason; I don't use primers. I don't really need them because I think loose powder mattifies my foundation so I haven't even used this! I have two and I've used the other ones once and it just doesn't agree with my skin. I'm oily skinned but this left a dry, white line on my cheeks so I didn't bother with it.

Soap And Glory, Scrub your Nose In It | £7.99 | Boots / Boots.co.uk
I really don't get on with it! I've never liked it since I had it and as much as I try and like it, It wont work! I might put this on the blog sale too, even though there's not the full amount of product, there's still enough. I think it's very thick and makes my skin even more oilier. Who likes this?

MUA Eye Primer | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
Simple reason..I haven't used it! I used it once but didn't take notice of the results. I need to try this more but the reason why I wouldn't repurchase is because it's sitting in a draw!

MUA pressed Powder | £1 | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
I like loose powder now. I have one that's used up and have this one that's only been swatched. I don't like pressed powder because it absorbs the oily parts of my skin and  makes my foundation awful! *blog sale*

I hope you all enjoyed this post and it gave you a little insight into what products I hardly use! I missed Mondays post - it's a Spring Makeup Look and will be uploaded tomorrow instead or Friday!

Hope you've all been having a good week - lots of love x

March Empties

L-R
Lovely Mint Story Bubble Bath
Maybelline BB Cream Sample
Palmolive Deoderant
Loreal Elvive Conditioner
Beautiful Brunette Shampoo
Wet Wipes
Cotton Wool Balls
Snow Fairy Wand
Lovely Mint Story | Tesco
I loved using this, I used it quite regular and it's easy to purchase by visiting your local Tesco! I love the Treaclemoon bubble baths and I want to try more! It was affordable too.

Maybelline BB Cream | Sample
This was alright but I'm not too keen on BB creams. I thought this was just the same as a foundation and I don't see the 'hype' around a BB cream. This felt the same on my skin just the same as a lightweight foundation did. Why pay £4/5 for a BB cream when you can pay £8 for a larger bottle of foundation?

Palmolive Deoderant | Tesco/Boots
I use this everyday to keep me fresh and fragrant! It's nice on the underarms and does the job!

Loreal Conditioner | Boots/Tesco
I love this and I want to purchase another. I love the fact it leaves my hair silky soft and it's not overpriced.

Beautiful Brunette Shampoo | Boots
This was ok-ish but didn't really suit my hair. I thought it would restore my natural brunette but it didn't. It didn't really do anything spectacular so I don't think I'll repurchase.

Wet Wipes | Tesco
I use these everyday to freshen up my skin and to remove makeup. They're suitable for babies and young children so they're soft.. this is why I love them on my skin. They do a good job and they're just an everyday essential. Affordable and good to use!

Cotton Wool | ASDA
I picked these up from Asda. Along with my wet wipes I like using these for cleanser because they're big balls and they do the whole face in 3/4 balls. They're really soft too!

Snow Fairy Wand | LUSH
I love this! First time I tried it and mmmm, the scent is SO nice! It's a Christmas edition for Lush but I found the wand at the bottom of my empties bag, so I needed to mention!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tried any of this months empties? I feel like March went on forever?!

March Favourites!

FROM L-R
Soap & Glory, Champneys, Chit Chat, MUA, Sunkissed

Hi everyone, sorry it's late in the day! Been so busy.
I have my March Faves for you tonight, I love showing you these and I hope you enjoy them!

This is one of my favourite, faves because I absolutely love the products mentioned. I've been using them EVERYDAY and they're essential!

Champneys Citrus Blush Hand Lotion
I recieved this for Christmas and I'm so not a 'handcare' person! I've become in love with handcare recently though, just because I love this! I love the smell - it's quite floral, fruity and spicy. I love it because it smells quite christmassy! It's something I'm always using so I needed to include it!

Chit Chat Juicy Stick
I love this for sheer coverage. I love how it's quite balmy, yet buildable to be strong and pigmented. I love it and I love the fact it's inexpensive. I love the juicy sticks and I have them all!

MUA Blush
I'm not a blush girl! I've never been interested but I want a collection now.. just because I love this one! I've been using it since Christmas, nearly everyday and it's a simple shade. It suits my skin tone and it isn't bright or too dark. It's a lovely shade and goes with everything.

Righteous Butter
I love this and I've never bothered with it before! I've had it ages and I love the scent but I've just never bothered with using it. I love it's thickness but it does take a short while to dry... Definately repurchasable though!

Sunkissed Eyeshadow Duo
I LOVE these shades! DEFINATELY me! I love nudes and browns and if I could, the Naked palette would be mine! I love nudes and they suit everyone so they're my go to look for sure. I love how simplistic the shades are and I love the packaging. I use this all the time!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Have you tried any?

Product Comparisons #1

Hi everyone, today I'm comparing a few products for you all. I've already done this post but Blogger was being a wally and deleted EVERYTHING I had done..so round 2 it is! These products arn't the same brand or whatever but they should all do the same thing. I'll explain which ones I like/dislike and which ones I would repurchase and why. I hope this helps with future purchases etc - there will be #2 coming soon too! I hope you enjoy!

Flake Away VS Breakfast Scrub
Breakfast Scrub wins. I like it because it's for all over body, not just legs and it has a lovely smell. It uses natural ingredients and I've finally got to use it up and got to like it. It makes me silky smooth and mm!
I do like flake away but haven't actually used it much.

Skinology Tea Tree Face Scrub VS Scrub Your Nose In It
The wilko one is £1 and the S&G is around £7.. I prefer Wilko. I prefer Wilko because it's smooth and 'gel' like and the grains are tiny. I love the smell because it's fresh and not overpowering. The S&G one is very clay like and thick and it's like a mask. It also made me break out and didn't help my oily skin. The grains are very thick and it's like toothpaste slightly because of the smell and thickness. I wouldn't repurchase.

Natural Collection Mascara VS Maybelline Colossal Cats Eye
None win because I like them both. They both do different things and you can use them at the same time. I like the packaging on both.. I like the plain tube of Natural Collection and I like the leopard effect of the Maybelline tube. They're both drugstore but range from £1 to £7/8. I like the curved brush of Maybelline and I like the basic brush of natural collection. The Maybelline one curls lashes and separates while the Natural Collection one is brilliant for bottom and inner corner lashes.

Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick
Damson VS Autumn Leaf
Damson wins.
They're both very different even though they're the same brand/item. Damson is very pigmented and you don't need to use a lot, it's a S/S color and it's very smooth and balmy. Autumn Leaf is very balmy and non pigmented and doesn't stain the lips. I like them both and they're both really cheap at the cost of £1 but I'm more of a powerful pinks girl.. so Damson wins!

Beautybase Eyeliner VS Models Own VS MUA
These are all so different. They're different because of the applicator. Mua is a thin, small applicator while Beautybase is long and creates a perfect wing *if you have a steady hand* so they both win.. I don't like the Models Own one because the applicator is very thick and creates a thick line.. which I don't like for my eye shape. I like the MUA and Beautybase ones because they don't smudge and they're good at neat application.. both £1.

MUA pressed powder VS Natural Collection loose powder
Loose and pressed powders are totally different. Pressed powder, in my opinion, is best for dry skin or skin that needs amazing coverage. I find pressed powder to be overly cakey and quite hard to maintain on the face all day. Loose powder has become my new bestfriend because it's easy to blend, you don't go overboard, there are no mistakes made, you can keep covered all day and easily top up, you can get them inexpensively. The one I use is £1.99 from Natural Collection.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid VS Rimmel 25 Hour
I like them both. I used the Maybelline one before the Rimmel one and it's a really good coverage. The shade was dark and amazing for summer but now I use the Rimmel one everyday. The Rimmel one is buildable and slightly, slightly medium coverage but I always build it up anyway. They both lasted me ages and I'd repurchase both again.. noone wins!

I hope this post helped in some way or another and keep a look out for #2!

Hello everyone - haul time!
I've got a few things to show you all, not expensive/high end things, just things that I've seen recently and stuff I've bought!

I do have another haul in a few weeks but these things were bought in february time.

Flawless Caviar Nail Art | Poundland | £1
I love these. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to. I have the MUA one too, so I might compare the two. I this set I got a nail polish AND the caviar - £1. Wheras the MUA one is around £3/4 and you only get a small amount.

Boots Skin Clear Sheets | Boots | 50p
I picked these up because they we're only 50p. I wouldn't pick them up at normal price because I ALWAYS have a tissue haha! I still need to try them, but they look good.

Chit Chat Lipgloss | Poundland | £1
I picked this up in Poundland. It looked cool and something to add to my 'glossy tubes' collection, it IS sticky but I dont mind it over a lipstick. I don't think the purple color picks up but it caught my eye - why not!

Natural Collection Powder | Boots | £1.89
I use this all the time. It's an everyday product. It's cheap and does the job. It doesn't appear cakey and keeps me matte longer than plain foundation.

Boots Therapy Shower Gel | Boots | 89p
I've used this once and the smell is lovely. It was a random purchase with points on my card, so it was a  worthwhile purchase seeing as I love it! I want more.

Chit Chat Cheek Tint | Poundland | £1
I haven't used this but I hope it's a Benefit dupe. Benefit products always take my fancy and I've been looking for a dupe! I hope this works really well. I can't wait to use it.

Chit Chat Highlighter | Poundland | £1
I love it! I've used it a few times and it leaves a nice highlight on my non existing cheek bones. It doesn't appear toooo shimmery and doesnt make me look shiny!

Fabulous Lash | Miss Sporty | £1.99
I like this. I don't ever bother with Miss Sporty products but I had points so I decided to get something cheap aha. I like it, but I hate the fact it's not waterproof. It went EVERYWHERE during the snow..gr. I like the wand.

YSL Touche Eclait | Sample
I popped in store and got this. I need to use it better but I've kinda used it a bit.. it doesn't last very long and I don't think it suits my oily skin type. It'd dewy, not matte.. meh.

Nail art wheel | Poundland | £1
I like nail art. I don't like tacky nail art.. but I like the odd design. I got one of these as a stocking filler for xmas and I still need to use it, but I saw this different one in store and thought i'd pick it up.

Nail floral stickers | Poundland | £1
I've used these and they lasted long on my nails. They're pretty and really simple.

Chit Chat gel eyeliner | Poundland | £1
I tried using this.. it doesn't really work.. it didn't really show up. Nevermind, not a waste for £1!

Rimmel Match Perfection | Boots | £6.99
I like this! Rimmel foundations are always perfect. They work on my skin and they don't cost a lot. I love the red foundation they do, so I decided to get this. It's medium coverage and buildable. I will review this soon anyway.

Maybelline FIT me sample
I've used this and the color looks SO orange! But once applied it works best. It's a summer shade so I do need to use this to tell you what I think, I've not used it much but I think it's good.

Pearly teeth whitening sample
Again, another product that I need to use! I'm excited to try it!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Sorry I haven't tried many things.. but you'll hear what I think anyway. Lots of love! xo

February Empties

Another month over, another bunch of products that have been sitting in a bag ready to be lobbed out.. but Zofia finally remembered to photograph some and pop on here!

I have a good amount of empties this month, a small range of everyday bits that I use and need. Not that interesting but here we go!

Nivea Q10 Body Oil | Sample Size
This was just a sample but I liked the idea. I didn't see what the point of it was, but this is probably because it wasn't a repetitive programme.. it was just a one use product. I think if you used it once a week and your skin knew you were using it, I think you'd see effects of what it was meant to do. I haven't heard any reviews on this etc but it seemed pretty cool.

Gliss Conditioner For Colored Hair
I like the Gliss shampoo's/Conditioner's. I normally get the pinky colored bottle but they didn't have that and I thought that this smelled nice anyway, so I didn't mind too much! This was an alright product, it did weigh my hair down slightly and the product was quite thick. Like I said over on my Youtube channel, I'd repurchase if I didn't have anything else.. but it's not a go to product and it's not something I'd be looking forward to use.

Palmolive Soft And Gentle
This is just my basic, everyday deodorant!

COLOR Macara
This is a New Look mascara from a gift set. I enjoyed using this, it was very runny and had a very thick applicator. I hardly used it but it was used every so often. It's gone dry now so I'll probably keep the wand as always and use it in brow gel!

Baby Wipes
I use these to remove makeup when I don't use my Elemis wipes. These are my everyday wipes and I think they're brilliant! They're cheap in Tesco and normally 3 for 2. They're really soft and take off mascara etc really well.

Baylis & Harding Wild Rose Body Wash
As you know, I love B&H! I love their products because they're really nice on the skin. They last a long time and are a really quality buy. I loved using this and it was a really thick gel that could be used sparingly. I never like 'rose' scents but this one was really subtle!

Tesco Everyday Shampoo
I never use this on my hair, I use it on the dogs!
I always use this to wash the dog, but the main reason I buy it is so I can clean my makeup brushes! I love using this to clean them, it doesn't leave them clogged up and it's easy to wash out. I love how it doesn't leave them with a scent either.

Supersoft Apple Shampoo
This seemed like a really cheap shampoo. Like it wouldnt do much good for my hair. This was a last minute buy in Savers as I couldn't find any decent looking shampoo's and I wanted to try something new. Infact, it was quite good. It left me with a tiny bit of volume which I NEVER have in my hair, it's flat as a pancake! It left it feeling clean and was easy to rinse out..once I blowdried my hair, it was silky! I'd repurchase.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in 2 days time for my How To Style post!

Love you all, Zofia x

A Few Gifts For Mothers Day!

mothers day (blog post)

Hello everyone!

I wasn't meant to blog today, but I've decided to throw a cheeky blog post in, seeing as it's an 'event' type post and so it doesn't matter that I've bugged you all 3 days in a row!

It's Mothers Day this Sunday and - if you're like me - you still haven't gone racing through the shopping center looking and chocolates, flowers and perfumes..let alone buy anything! Fear not, because tomorrow is Friday meaning it's the weekend.. you still have time!

I think Mothers Day is such a personal day. Many gifts include flowers, chocolates, photo's, bath things, perfumes and makeup. The typical womanly items. To pick a gift for someone is incredibly hard as it is, unless your relative knows you're a beauty blogger and wouldn't mind anything off a beauty counter OR you have an xbox/playstation loving guy in the house!

I don't know what I'll be buying for my mum, but I never go for the typical stuff. My mum isn't a chocolate eater, if so, she'll nick a bit of mine.. but she won't race to the shop to get a bar! Mum's not too keen on perfumes and it's not something she collects..although I do know she loves the Body Shop's 'Musk' perfume - it's her signature scent! - but, I got her that for Christmas..
We also share the large quantity of overloading makeup together anyway, so it'd be pointless in getting her a red lippy or some beauty bits, because we have enough.

BUT, if your really, really, really stuck for ideas - fear not! - I attempted scouring the web to find you all some lovely presents to give to your mum on Mothers Day!

NEXT | Gift Box | £30
I know. It seems very pricey!
I love the thought of this, it's pre-made I know.. but, it's a nice touch. It includes Rose wine, flowers and gift cards. I know you can pick these all up in single items for a tiny less of the price, but I think that because it's quite near the day, to get these delivered would be nice.
http://www.polyvore.com/next_flowers_gift_cards_delivered/thing?id=78322141

Sanctury | Escape & Unwind Collection | £20.50
As you all know, I love Sanctury! I loved the idea of this gift set because it's really worth it and you can even give your mum the 2,500 Boots points to spend on herself after, haha!
This collection seemed quite womanly and mature. Every mum likes to unwind and I think Sanctury products are really good quality and totally worth it. This is definitely something I recommend.
http://www.boots.com/en/Sanctuary-Escape-Unwind-Collection_1189845/

Personalized Heart Trinket Box | buyagift.co.uk
I've never used this website before and I've only just come across it. I love the idea of easily finding a gift that gives you a decent amount of choices. This is a website that I'll definitely use in the future and a website that is SUCH a big help!
I came across a personalized heart trinket box which I suppose isn't a typical kinda gift. It's more personal and more thought has gone into it. I love the idea of this and I suppose if you have any trinkets that have been passed down in the family - maybe from your mums mum - that means a lot, you could pop trinkets in here like jewelerry, photo's etc that mean a lot.. so it's more of a personal keepsake and something she can keep forever. More of a memory. You can check out more gifts for mothers day using this link if you wanted -
http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Traditional-Gifts-Mother-s-Day-BN-122Zs6.aspx?tmcampid=8&tmad=c&cm_mmc=google-_-Seasonal%20Search%20-%20For%20Her|Mothers%20Day%20Broad%20%26%20Phrase-_-1_mother's%20day%20gifts-_-Broad&gclid=CPPV7tLV5LUCFUTItAodkUAAiw

Thorntons Personalized Chocolates
This is a great personalized gift! If your mum is a total chocoholic then definitely purchase some! They're personalized so I suppose you could personalize them with 'i love you' or something a bit more different! I personally don't like to buy chocolates for mum because she doesn't like them, but also, because it's not much of a gift.. this is just my own opinion but I think it's something that can't be cherished, remembered and kept.. it's an everyday item!

Perfume
Perfume is the hardest gift. Us bloggers find it HARD to describe a scent, let alone choose one for someone else! I spend about an hour in a perfume section of Boots smelling & testing perfumes WITHOUT buying so picking for someone else would be painful! haha.
Perfume is very personal and something you either hate or love. Finding someone else's signature scent is difficult because they could either love it or hate it. I think  if you got someone's scent wrong, it would go completely downhill.. partly because  perfumes can either be out there, subtle, girly, young, mature, womanly, masculine.. there are all different scents and although a perfume might smell pretty and it says 'Chanel' on the glass bottle, does not mean your mum will like it! If you do want to get her a perfume, maybe ask her what ones she likes.. ask her about her top 5 and then you're not giving the game away. Or maybe, use Boots points.. I know it sounds daft but if you pick her up the Sanctury set for example, you could go perfume shopping with her to let her decide after. Just make sure you pick the right one! Many Jo Malone perfumes are suitable, I think, so you could go with that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope I gave you a small idea of things you could get last minute. Sorry it might have been a bit Cliche but I can't even think of what to get for my mum ahaha!
I hope you and your mum all have a brilliant day together and don't argue as much as me & mine do! Happy mothers day to all!

Lots of love!

February Favorites

Herbal Essences Mask | S&G Breakfast Scrub | Unique Boutique Body Butter | Hair Benefits Shampoo/Conditioner | OPI Tomorrow Never Dies | Rimmel Coral In Gold

Another month over, more products tried & tested!
I didn't really know what to choose for my February faves this month, not sure why but I haven't tried many Christmas goodies out yet and so I've been sticking to what I know and using things up.

I've been using things that I maybe wasn't keen on in the past few months, and using products that are 'essentials'. There are one/two products here that I've just decided to use up and give a good go of.. then theres a few products in there that are definately repurchasable! I'm going to go through them and tell you all my favorites of February!

Tulisa | Honest | WHSmith
I love Tulisa! Many people have their opinion on her and many of them are really made up of the newspapers and websites and magazines that arn't worth paying for because they're lies. Obviously everyone can have their say because we all have an opinion on everyone. My opinion on her is nothing but niceness because I DO see her as a role model and idol whether or not shes had a 'sextape' and she's from a bad area. Doesn't bother me, because on top of that she's achieved many things and quite a lot of people like her! I love her and for Christmas I received her book.. that I asked for;)
I enjoyed reading this and it was a definite favorite. I suggest you all go and have a read if you have a bad opinion on her..your mind will certainly change!

OPI | Tomorrow Never Dies | £11
This was the first OPI nail polish that I've tried so I HAD to put it in my faves! You'll see a NOTW post on these soon so I'm not going to go in detail but I enjoyed using it and want to collect more of the collection *TKmaxx calls me* and I want to collect more OPI's!

Hair Benefits | Tesco | £1.87
Love this! It's become my everyday shampoo and conditioner and I love how silky my hair becomes. I've never been bothered by Tesco hair products because I've never really been overly attracted to the 'cheaper' brand.. I use elvive etc. I like this though and it seems to look like an elvive dupe. Repurchasable!

Herbal Essences | Hair Mask | £1
I was having a quick look in Poundland and came across this, I've been using it once a week and although its not a 'mask' and it's more of a conditioner, I like it. It was only a pound and it's something I'll always add to my basket. I want to try more hair masks to compare but this will always be a go to item now. I love the smell and it's lightweight on my hair. I will be doing a better review, so hold on in there!

Breakfast Scrub | Soap&Glory | £9.50
Had it ages, never bothered with it. I've never been a scrub/exfoliating type girl but because it needs using *it's probably screaming to escape the tub* I decided to use it and I love it! I use this at most 3 times a week and finish it with any body butter. I love it and it leaves me with such a silky smooth outcome! I love the smell too and before Christmas I said I hated it.. nomore!

Coral In Gold | Rimmel | £4.49
I've had this in my makeup collection for years. Never really used it because strangely, I thought it was a matte orange.. what was I thinking! Back in the day, that was the look I wanted to achieve though..
It's a very sheer lipstick and very balmy. I always team this up with a little bit of red lipstick to 'vamp it up' but it's seriously fine on it's own with a smoky or brown eye. I've finally found a lipstick I love and one I can use everyday. All this week I've been wearing it and I love it! Old lipstick - yes.. good lipstick - yes!

Unique Boutique | Body Butter
I picked this up in Tesco quite a while ago. I stopped using it because of the scent. I'm not very keen on 'wild rose' scents and this one smells a lot like it. I've warmed to the smell now and it's NOT going to put me off because I love the thickness of the butter and it leaves me silky smooth! I also love the packaging because it's a glass tub and very chic! I love the thick, rich, luxury whitness of the product and it's a shame it's not repurchasable! It was also a bargain item that I got in discontinued stock..whey!

I hope you've all had a brilliant Feb and roll on Spring! One step closer now for all you summer babies!
Had any stand out products this February?

January Favorites | 2013

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages. Partly because there's not much going on at the moment and because most things I need to say have been on Youtube and cannot be made into posts - purely because they're makeup looks! I promise to blog more, but sometimes it's hard if there isn't anything.

As you all know *obvs* February says hello tomorrow and what a boring month it's been. I always find January to be a dull month, just because Christmas has gone and just because there isn't anything going on. Although this month for me, there was! I finally got myself a non paying job.. just for the experience and meeting people.

Anyway, less of the rambling and more of the favorites! Most of these are Christmas items and just small random bits. I haven't used much of my Christmas items, just because I like to save things - ha!

Sam Faires | TOWIE And Me | WHSmith | £8.96
I really enjoyed reading this. As a big fan of TOWIE and all the TOWIE cast, I wanted this as soon as it came out and I finally got it for Christmas. Many people have said it's not good and many bad reviews have come up on the internet but I find it a good read and enjoyed reading it. Most parts were about her beauty regime and pre TOWIE. She then went on to talk about some previous TOWIE cast, like Amy Childs.

Tea Tree And Mint Shower Gel | Superdrug | 86p
I absolutely love love love the smell of tea tree. Tea tree and mint goes well and I really love how fresh it is. I got this as a stocking filler and it's great for everyday use.

W7 Lashtastic Mascara | Savers
I didnt buy this, so I don't know the price. The packaging is a lot chunkier than Maybelline type mascaras, but looks a lot like them. I love the wand. As you can see in the photo its very chunky and coats everylash. It has a lot of bristles and it creates a non clump lash.

Pauls Nails | Pauls Boutique/BANK | Gold
This was my first nail polish of the year. I love the color and I love how it applies. I done a NOTW on this, if you want to check it out!

Body Shop | Born Lippy Lipbalm
I love this, I also reviewed this so check it out if you like!

Hope you all enjoyed this post and I promise to blog a bit more. What have you been loving this month?

Soap & Glory | Best and Worst..

Yesterday, I posted up a video on my Soap & Glory; Best and Worst. I remember seeing someone on Youtube do this and I thought it's a great idea, seeing as I'm a small lover of Soap&Glory. I don't have a huge collection, but what I do have - I'm grateful for! My set came in the £60 box set back in 2010 and ever since then, I've loved S&G.
Some products arn't to my fancy but I still use them anyway. I'm one of these people that can't leave anything unused, I have to use it up! I never really get skin allergies so I always use products up and if I don't like them I won't buy them again.
I haven't got round to trying S&G cosmetics, I hope to soon but for now I'm a fan of the Bath&Body things. I absolutely LOVE the soap&glory smell! It's SO difficult to explain but I love it and I'm sure other people would totally agree.
I'm going to guide you through my S&G collection and tell you the things I love and not so love.

Heel Genius | Boots | £5.50

I love this! This makes my feet so smooth and soft and supple.. mm! The smell is slightly different to the other products, it's hard to explain! It's a fresh smell, not a fruity smell.. It lasts ages and you can use it really sparingly because its such a thick lotion. I'd definitely repurchase! This product is a best.

Hand Food | Boots | £5.00
This is one of my favorite S&G items but I don't use it as often. I'm not really a 'hand cream' sort of girl but I do have quite a collection that I need to use now. This was my first hand cream/moisturizer and I was impressed. I never really liked putting hand creams on just because of the stickiness they had and the time they took to dry. This one sinks in so well and the smell is gorgeous. A definite repurchase.

The righteous Butter | Boots | £10.50
I love this! It's smooth, fragrant and moisturizing! Its over the £10 mark but totally worth it. Mine has lasted me AGES and I need to use it up! Its so rich and lovely and mm.. totally re purchasable and if you're stuck for choice over a moisturizer, pick this one!

Scrub your nose in it | Boots | £7.50
I don't use this a lot. I am at the moment just so I can use it up and carry on with my Elemis facial scrub. It gives me a few spots and redness on my cheeks so I try and avoid this. Obviously, this came in a set so I had no choice on buying or not but I wouldn't repurchase just because it doesn't suit me - this doesn't mean it wont suit you! The smell is very fresh and minty and this is one thing I like about it. I also like that it's a thick paste type scrub, nothing like the small grained Elemis one.

Girligo | Boots | £6.50
Since doing this post, I've used this a bit more. I saw on someones blog the idea they use this for and I really like it. I have used it as it's meant to be used and it's a good product. Someone mentioned how they spray their bedsheets and pillows with this.. tried it! Love it! The smell of S&G is lovely so I liked doing this. Although, I wouldn't repurchase.

Breakfast Scrub | Boots | £9.50

This is a lovely smelling product but I don't have a use for it! I'm not a scrub type of girl really so I just don't use this but I can see why people like it - I just don't use it.

Flake Away | Boots | £7.00
The same reason as above! I'm not a scrub type of girl, but it's an okay product!

I hope this post was a tiny bit helpful for any S&G products you want to try or if you're building up a collection. I think these were the first few S&G products as they were bought 2 years ago!! I want to try so many S&G products as I still haven't tried the cosmetics and I've heard brilliant reviews.
Hope you've all had a brilliant weekend and be careful in the snow!

Lots of love,

Zx

Christmas Gift Guide!

Christmas Gift Guide!
Essie Winter Collection |  OPI Skyfall Collection | New Look Cake Stand | Lush Snow Fairy | Lady gaga; Fame | Naked Palette

Hey lovelies

So its that time of the year again! Hot water bottles, rain, snow, frost, ice, Christmas movies, Elf, Presents, Busy streets.. the list is endless but thats what makes Christmas so special! We all complain about doing 'the Christmas shop' but really, on the 25th when we see our loved ones open their presents and receive something that they've been wanting all year or have seen many adverts about, we all do cartwheels and jump for joy inside, because it makes the day special by giving, not just receiving.
The only problem we all sometimes make.. giving someone something that they don't want, or do not have an interest in.. Obviously because this is a Beauty/Food/Lifestyle blog these are beauty gifts, so before these inspire you to go out and spend, spend, spend, make sure that the person receiving these actually has an interest in the products listed!
Later this month I will be doing 'Christmas week' full of Christmassy things, just like I did with Halloween week. I decided to do this early, just because people are shopping quite early this year and I just thought this would be a better time to do it, than a week before Christmas.
So, without further ado, I will sh and get on with it!

Essie Winter Collection | £9.95 | ASOS
I spotted this and thought it was a great gift! Slightly under £10.. just! Which makes it a great gift for a friend or for a stocking filler. It's also a great gift for people that are unsure of what they want or if you're unsure of what shades and brands they like. Personally, I have never tried Essie but, I am trying some soon for Christmas! I didnt put this on my Christmas list *why* but I will do now! I think its just perfect for the people I listed above and think its great for this season; as its Winter!

OPI Skyfall Mini's Collection | £13 | John Lewis
I put OPI on my Christmas list, not these mini's collection but just one of the Skyfall's. I'll be doing a haul & review so dont worry!
I have never tried OPI, I dont think they're sooo overpriced, I just havent managed to purchase one yet. But, I think this is a great gift for the same reasons listed on the gift above. I think the product is great for beauty hoarders and people exactly like myself! It's also a great gift to have, being a collection, and something that is fairly new. The shades are also wintery too! Perfect for Christmas!

Cake Stand | £9.99 | New Look
This is a slightly different present maybe? I have actually asked for this, both as a cake stand for all my pretty decorated after-Christmas cupcakes AND for my makeup storage! Its multi-use and very girly. I'm planning on storing my eyeshadows on this, as all of them are all over my makeup desk untidy. This is an excellent stocking filler for any age, even if you cant find something for Mum and she loves baking, or if you have a neice who bakes or a Sister that keeps makeup in the same way! Its multi-purpose and a pretty thing to have around the house!

Snow Fairy | £3.50 | Lush
Perfect stocking filler! For my 'stocking fillers' I have these wrapped up and put under the Christmas tree, I call them my 'small presents' and I normally get two big presents to open too. I HAVE put this on my list this year, I've never tried it before so I cant comment on the scent but everyone writes great reviews about it, so I'm basing my decision on them! Obviously making sure the female you're buying it for uses bath things and shower gels etc, because if not, it wont be put to good use! It's great for the price and really adds a lovely touch and something nice to open. Its also from the Lush Christmas range and only comes out once a year, so get it while you can!

Lady Gaga; Fame | £49 | Lord & Taylor.com
This is another one that I havent tried but all reviews are good. Obviously check the reviews before buying but really and truthfully; I dont think you need to! It's a celebrity scent which some people are fussy about *personally, I LOVE celeb scents!* and I cant really see why, but people say this isnt like 'A celeb scent' its like a designer scent. The whole 'black perfume' really put me off at first but now I cant wait to try it, although its not on my Christmas list for this year!

Urban Decay; Naked Palette | £36 | Debenhams
Perfect reviews, shades for everyone, Urban Decay. Thats all I need to say! I don't have this palette and was debating whether to spend a whole £36 on it, I do want it but I don't really know whether to actually buy it. We all know its a good palette but I might just get the Undressed palette by MUA first.
This is a perfect gift because all the shades suit everyone. Nudes & Brows are versatile and suitable for any skin or hair color, its all about how strong or light the color is blended/ lip color. The naked palette is perfect for any teens or any adults in the family, just because its something anyone who loves makeup would be happy with opening.

I really hope you enjoyed having a read of my gift guide, I might do 'Gift Guide 2' in a few days time, but I just thought I would do this one as I was having a bit of a scan about on the internet and thought it would be a great idea. I know I havent tried most of them, but I know a good gift when I see one! ;-)
My Blogmas Day 6 will be up in a minute too!

What do you all want for Christmas?
Are any on the list?
