NICOLA ROBERTS EYESHADOW

Hello everyone - I hope you're doing okay.
Today's post is all about Autumn beauty. I really like Autumn colours and so I think Autumn beauty is perfect for me! I love oranges, browns, bronzes, reds, nudes....I also love the colours of all the trees when autumn arrives.

Collection Privee Range | Doutzen
At the moment I'm lusting over this range. I want the nail polishes and all the lippies, purely because I'm really into the nude colour palette - as you probably know, I've been mentioning it a lot..
I think this lipstick would be brilliant in the Autumn if you don't want a power pout with plums or reds. I think it'd look great with a jumper and boots, it's that sort of shade that I love.

Gelly Nail Paint
I still have to try the Gelly range but while I was browsing nail polishes for autumn, I fell in love with this one. I love deep purples for autumn, even though I prefer brights and the gelly range is a perfect way to settle into the darks!

Sleek Blush | Suede
As well as the Gelly range, I'm still yet to try anything Sleek. They look like an amazing brand to try with an amazing colour and product range so I thought I'd include one of their ever blogged about blushers. Suede seems like a beautiful colour for autumn as it's a beautiful brown.

Creme Puff
I love this colour and I'm a proud owner of a Miners one! I love the formula and they're not overly drying but in the winter you may need a little lipbalm as a base. I thought this shade would be lovely in autumn.

Simple Hydrating Moisturiser
I definitely need to look after my skin a bit more. In the autumn/winter I know many bloggers with sensitive skin start to get dry or start to see their skin change in the colder months so ofcourse I think this is a great addition to your skincare regime.

Loreal Pleasure Me Red Lippie
I really liked the look of this on Superdrug's website because it's a beautiful autumny red. It's not too ruby red and not too plum or brown - it's a beautiful dark red and I can imagine this looking beautiful in the nighttime too.

B Glowing Shimmer Block
This instantly made me get a notepad out and add to my wishlist! I love the colour of this and I love the multiple colours. I'm definately going to pick this up in store and I need to see reviews on it. You could use this in many ways such as contour, highlight or add definition. I can imagine this looking great on any skintone.

Dainty Doll Dark Brown Shadow
I own this one and it looks lovely in the crease or outer corners. You could even use it for brows if they were quite dark.
I like this colour and I'll definitely be using it for Autumn.

Thoughts On | Rimmel Kate Lipsticks | My Collection

 Hello there gorgeous girlies!
So sorry tonight's post is quite late on. I usually schedule for 7.30pm UK time but tonight's post wasn't scheduled and I've been working all day so I just found time tonight to do my biggest passion and blog for you all!

If you remember a few months back, these used to fill my monthly wishlists. I always loved the idea of Kate's lippies and everyone blogs about them on a daily basis. I think Rimmel lipstick *and the brand altogether* have to be my favourites and if I'm looking or lusting over the idea of a new shade I will always walk over to Rimmel's stand for quality, value and inexpensive beauty buys purely because I know they work.

I haven't *unfortunately* tried all of the Kate brand just because I've been seeing how they work and how I like them first - now I truly know I love them I'll head down to Boots and pick up all the shades.
For tonight's post though I'll go through my small collection and explain my favourites - by the picture I'm sure you can tell which one I carry in my Mary Poppins bag....

Kate Lipstick | Black Bullet | Shade 05
I purchased 05 and 02 on the same day and found it hard to differentiate between the two. I actually thought they were the same shade - but no!
The black ones are the MATTE range so this lipstick is matte. With this lipstick I liked the pinky shade. I liked that it wasn't as bright as 02 and I liked that it was a shade that I don't actually own - it's quite different.
I was really excited to try this lippie as the colour is gorgeous and pinks are my favourite. When I applied it (without a balm) I did find it hard to push the lipstick onto my lips and apply - it did feel very drying and very matte. I do have to apply a balm under this because I feel like it wouldn't look right for work and I'd probably be a bit conscious! All in all though I do like this lipstick but the red bullet lipsticks are my favourite.

Kate Lipstick | Black Bullet | Shade 02
Same review as above, I really loved this shade because it's a fuschia pink and definately the pinks I go for. I don't have the smallest shape lips in the world so I really enjoy piling on the pink because I feel like they suit me best!:-)
I felt like this lipstick didn't 'fill in the lines' that well - I felt like it needed a lip brush to apply it, if not it didn't really look right? This one is very drying but I do love it; it's just not a lipstick you can throw on 5 minutes before you leave the house.

Kate Lipstick | Red Bullet | Shade 101
My absolute GO TO! You wouldn't believe how much I LOVE this lipstick. I've been using it every single day and it's the perfect one for work. It's so sleek and lovely and applies like a dream. It applies so smooth and it's kind of like you've applied some lip gloss over the top; that's how smooth it is. It doesn't sink into the cracks or the oops bits of your lips and it lasts quite long. I work on average 6 hours and it lasts all that time and only gets kind of dry 4 hours after. I really enjoy to put my MAC Minaj lippie as a base of this because then it really does last all day! I've enjoyed using this and I always carry it around with me as I know it suits everything I wear and my everyday smoky eye. As you can tell by the picture - the difference of usage and the different formulas.
I also find that the red bullet collection shades are more me and bright than the black bullet packaging - although I will try them all.
Rimmel..you've done it again.. I love you!

Kate Lipstick | Black Bullet | Shade 13
A different colour in my range is this bright orange. I have a few other oranges in my collection but they're not as vibrant. Same review as the other black range but I think this one blends a lot better. I think this is probably one I need to use more and I'll get back to you.

Collective Haul

Hello there gorgeous!
Haul time again and today I have a few bits and bobs for you. These things haven't been picked up recently but they've been bought a few weeks back. I will have a haul soon with all the recent things I've bought but me with wages means a catch up!

Asda Skin System Cleanser
I bought this a while back because it was inexpensive and I wanted to try a few more skincare things. After using it for a while I'm not overly keen. It's a milk base which doesn't suit oily skin and so I feel that when I use it, it doesn't really remove makeup and make my skin feel smooth, fresh, awake and clean. Thumbs down...

Wilko Alcohol Base Cleanser - Tea Tree
Thumbs up! I love this cleanser. I always get it and I always alternate between the green Tea tree range and the blue normal range. I really like this and when I use it I can tell it works because my skin stings - this is a good thing though, I'm not allergic ahaha!

Wilko Tea Tree Face Wash
Same as above. When I'm in the bath this is great to remove all my makeup from the day or if it's a makeup free day it freshens my face up and makes me feel smooth and clean.

Tea Tree Spot Stick
I won't go into too much detail with this because I want to review it separate but lets just say i wouldn't buy again....

Sinful Colours Irish Green
My first SC! I've always taken a look to their inexpensive boots stand but I've just never made a purchase. I passed Poundland weeks back and came across a huge row of these so I bought this very gorgeous shade!

Rimmel Shout Out Loud
Beautiful colour - my reason for purchasing!

Rimmel Peppermint
Another gorgeous shade, probably more suited to Spring but I've been wearing it lately anyway.

Kate Lippies 13, 2, 5.
Beautiful pink/orange shades. I've been trying these all out lately so I'll let you know what I think separately. I love these shades.

Champagne Pink Fuzzy Jumper | Primark
Primark have a lot of these in store lately and I'm obviously going to get them all. I loved this colour and champagne pinks are lovely! This is a winter staple.

Brown Tassle Shorts
Very impulse buy.. these were £1 in Primark so I obviously had to get them. They've lovely and warm but I couldn't wear these now , people would call the local helpline...

Pink Peplum
I have a mint green one so I had to get this - £2 in Primark and it's a lovely top to pop on in S/S.

Primark Lipstick Review | A Beautiful Pink Shade

Hi there!
I'm back. Yep, you might have not noticed my disappearing act, but I'm back...!
I've been gone since September 1st and luckily my posts were all scheduled. My internet bill -in all honesty- has been unpayable and so I've been internetless. I hate when my internet goes because I can't do what I love most - Blog.

While I was gone I got the job at the Perfume Shop. I've mentioned in a few older posts that I had an interview and I managed to get a second interview and I've been there since Friday 13th...typical me with a date like that! I'm going to do a catch up post in a few days with the goings ons anyway, so I'll leave the gossip until then!

Todays post is a post that never got scheduled, I've decided to do it today because it's one I really wanted to show you all.
It's a review on Primark makeup. I've been loving using this product in particular and it's been a good item to use over the summer.

I've never really tried makeup from Primark, so this was a first. It was a slight impulse buy because I don't really need another colour like this but it was tooooo gorgeous to turn down! I was attracted to this because of the perfect £1 price tag and the beautiful barbie pink shade which suit me the best, I think!

I never really had high hopes for this lippie, I just thought it was going to look bright but be non-pigmented on my lips or be very drying and show every meh bit on my lips... but no, none of that happened!

I love this lipstick because it's very pigmented, yet blendable and buildable. I love how you can apply a little dab of it for a wash of colour or apply it fully and get a beautiful punch of pink. It blends really well too, it's smooth and can be applied with a lip brush or blended with your finger.
It lasts really long and the only problem with this is that it could become slightly drying over the day so you need to apply another layer, but that's not a major problem so I think this lipstick could suit everyone!

I thought I'd pop by and mention this lippie because it's a brilliant best buy.
So glad I'm back to the good ole' blogging, I'll try not to vanish again!

Lots of love,
XO

A Huge Collective Haul

Hello gorgeous!
A very exciting post today... It's a collective haul!
These things have been collected over a 3/4 week period, I'm so surprised at how much I've bought because normally, I never seem to buy the latest bits and bobs but lately, I've been buying things soon as they've hit the shops.

This post will be very talkative and picture heavy, so if you're in a reading mood, you're in luck.. get comfy and I'll ramble on!

clothing | After posting this, I've realised how many clothing items I need to purchase! I'm always browsing the isles of boots now a days so I need to pop in to H&M instead...
For clothing bits and bobs I've picked up two Primark items. I always pop in there and they had a sale on ages ago so I picked up these two for £5 each. I love minty greens and so this thin peplum can go with leggings and a jacket in Autumn, even though the colour is very much Spring like, I love mint greens so I had to pick this up.
The tassle top isn't really me but tassles have been 'in' this year so I picked this peachy/beige colour top up with black tassles, this will go well with boots or something in the autumn and it's quite long/floaty so I'll probably look twice the size - but nevermind, I'll find a way to style it!

Makeup Face Products |
Wake Me Up Face Shimmer | Excited to try this, such a bargain for £1 instead of the ridiculous £5 price tag.
Collection Foundation | I'll be using this as a concealer because it's very light but I'm a bit unhappy that I bought this from Poundland and it's half used... nevermind.
Wake Me Up Foundation | I've read all the reviews and I've finally bought it. I can't wait to use as it looks like a great foundation. It's also quite darker than my Match Perfection one which I like. I love looking tanned instead of a shade lighter..

Bath/Body |
Baylis and Harding Soaps | I only like Body Shop soaps so I'm looking forward to trying these. I prefer the mandarin soap better than the pink one but they both look like great products so I can't wait to try.
Ted Baker Butterfly Range Scrub | This smells lovely and I needed a new scrub so I'm also looking forward to using this. I love the butterfly range.
Tesco Bath Collection | Shimmer Lotion, Body Polish and Bath crystals. I've never tried all three of these so something different in my collection. Most excited to try the crystals.
Sanctuary Items | I've picked up some mini's and a bigger size body lotion. I love the body lotions and the scents of Sanctuary items so I'm looking forward to trying the bigger size lotion. I've never tried a scrub from them so I can't wait to use this. I've used a wash in the past and I've used this one up already - I love them.
Champneys Minty Spritz | I've loved using this in the Summer! It's so fresh and minty and refreshes you if it's warmer weather. It's a bit of an impulse buy but I enjoyed using the Soap and Glory girligo so I decided to give this a go. I think it's going to be lovely in the colder months too.
The Body Shop Bits | After buying the Raspberry Body Butter I decided to opt for a lightly scented one. The Vitamin E one seemed different and has a really light scent. I picked up the strawberry wash and satsuma lotion too.
Baylis Minis | I love these Minis from B&H, I like the mandarin scent more than the pink coloured bottles but these are so handy in my little bath collection. They lather well too, so they last quite long considering they come in mini versions.

Haircare |
Gliss Asia Straight Shampoo&Conditioner | I know, I know.. I said I disliked Gliss items a short while ago but I really liked the look of the Asia Straight range so I thought why not.. they smell amazing too!

Eye Makeup |
Dainty Doll Shadows | I picked up the beige base which I've used already - it seems pretty good! I also picked up the dark brown shadow which is super pigmented and smooth on the eyes.
Natural Collection Brown Duo | I've never tried a Natural Collection duo but I bought this and I love it. It's a makeup bag essential instead of carrying round multiple shadows. It's pigmented, considering it's only £2 and the shades are great for everyday.
Rimmel Union Jack Eyeshadow Palette | I saw this in Poundland and it looks great! I love olivey/bronzey shades so I'm excited to use this.
Rimmel Traffic Stopping Shadow Trios | I love these two trios, I love green/olive shadows as I've mentioned and I love eyeshadows like these that arn't based in a pan..if that makes sense? I also like using grey's occasionally so I love the pinky/grey trio.
Rimmel Mono Eyeshadow | I love browns, they're my go to shades. I picked this shadow up in Poundland and I've actually seen these in stores but didn't bother with them. I can't wait to use this and I'm hoping it's pigmented.
Lash Accelerator Mascara, Rimmel | This is amazing. I absolutely love it. It's become my go to mascara. I love the wand and how it makes my lashes look. Yay, Rimmel's done it again!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam | £5 introductory offer - can't go wrong. It's a new mascara and the wand is very different. I prefer the mascara mentioned above but this is fairly okay. I'll review this soon.
Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara | Never seen this in shops so I was made up when I saw it in Poundland. It's a basic wand, but works wonders.

Lip Products |
No7 High Shine Lipgloss, Smile | Such a different applicator but such a brilliant lipgloss. It's sticky, yes - but I love the shade too much to care about the formula. I've never thought about a No7 gloss before so I decided to purchase. I love this and I might even pick up more shades.
Primark Lip Crayon | I've mentioned millions of times before how much I enjoy using the Poundland ones so I decided to get one from Primark. It's very smooth, pigmented and glossy - for £1.50 I'll definately pick any more shades up.
Rimmel Apocalips, Nova | Finally! I've said so many times how much I want one, now I need to get round to using! I bought this in July and I still haven't used, but there will be a review on the blog sometime extra soon. I love this shade a lot.
Miners Matte Factor, Cappuccino | I love this, it's such a plain shade but looks really pretty with a light eye. I bought this around the start of July and I need to get round to using it more. It's not that drying, either.
Baby Lips, Cherry Me | I got one! I've used mine once and got it at the start of August, it's great. I've read so many negatives on this but I love mine and want the whole collection. I love the taste and it leaves a subtle shade on my lips which I love.
Primark Lipstick, Bright Pink | I bought this for £1. It's a gorgeous bright pink but I haven't used it yet to see if it appears on my lips that way. I think it may be a bit drying so I might have to put my baby lips underneath!

Other Face items | The gorgeous people at Montagne Jeunesse sent me these face freebies which I can't wait to try! I got a mud pac, a passion peel off and an olive face mask. I'm so excited to try and use their Mondays for Me app while I'm at it!
Collection Mosaic Glow | I also bought this mosaic bronzer the other week which is amazing! I've used it a few times already and I'm definitely going to review it. I love the shade and the shimmer and it's only around the £2 mark. Brill!

Nail Polishes |
OPI Black Shatter | Purchased from Poundland. I hate shatter polishes but for £1 I had to pick it up. They did loads of other shatter shades and I've seen a blog post this week on normal polishes from OPI in Poundland so I'll have to keep my eyes open.
Rimmel 60 seconds polish, Deliciously Dark | I'm definitely looking forward to Autumn so I picked this polish up. It's a beautiful aubergine shade. A bit black, bit with a purple tint. I'm not a lover of darks but this is a lovely shade.
Colour Show Polishes, Midnight Taupe/Green With Envy | An Autumn shade and a spring shade! I've recently applied Midnight Taupe and my mum's been rocking the minty shade this week! I love the whole colour selection of Colour show polishes and I'll always collect more but I don't like the gloopyness of them and the time they take to set. That's the only downside!

aaaaaaaaaaaand breathe... I've finally showed you everything I've purchased over the weeks! It's taken me a few hours to complete this post so it's satisfied my boring afternoon.. I hope you enjoyed!

Have you tried any of these items?
Thoughts?

How I'd Style.. Disco Pants

how id style disco pants, (blog)

NEXT CHIFFON SHIRT £12 link | LAVISH ALICE DISCO PANTS £24 |
NUDE CORK T-BAR SANDALS £25

Hello everyone!
As always, this post was meant to be up yesterday but I'm a wally and forgot!
It's another How I'd Style... post and I hope you enjoy!

I've edited the outfit picture a bit different to my previous style post, I hope you like it!

This will only be a quick one, but I thought I'd show how I'd style a pair of disco pants, if I had any, and what I would put with them. I don't believe I have good legs for these, even if black is slimming! So I don't think I'll be getting some anytime soon, but, they're great things to style!

I saw this top on Next.co.uk and I really like the style. It's quite floaty and not tight so I suppose it's good to have a top like this if you have tight leggings..
I like the design and think it's pretty simple. I like these leggings from lavishalice.co.uk as they're plain disco pants.

The shoes are also my favorite from Next - I love the nude color and I love the heel style. I think the nude color breaks up the black a little.

Hope you enjoyed this post .. please request any outfits you want me to put together and I will!

Lots of love x

February Empties

Another month over, another bunch of products that have been sitting in a bag ready to be lobbed out.. but Zofia finally remembered to photograph some and pop on here!

I have a good amount of empties this month, a small range of everyday bits that I use and need. Not that interesting but here we go!

Nivea Q10 Body Oil | Sample Size
This was just a sample but I liked the idea. I didn't see what the point of it was, but this is probably because it wasn't a repetitive programme.. it was just a one use product. I think if you used it once a week and your skin knew you were using it, I think you'd see effects of what it was meant to do. I haven't heard any reviews on this etc but it seemed pretty cool.

Gliss Conditioner For Colored Hair
I like the Gliss shampoo's/Conditioner's. I normally get the pinky colored bottle but they didn't have that and I thought that this smelled nice anyway, so I didn't mind too much! This was an alright product, it did weigh my hair down slightly and the product was quite thick. Like I said over on my Youtube channel, I'd repurchase if I didn't have anything else.. but it's not a go to product and it's not something I'd be looking forward to use.

Palmolive Soft And Gentle
This is just my basic, everyday deodorant!

COLOR Macara
This is a New Look mascara from a gift set. I enjoyed using this, it was very runny and had a very thick applicator. I hardly used it but it was used every so often. It's gone dry now so I'll probably keep the wand as always and use it in brow gel!

Baby Wipes
I use these to remove makeup when I don't use my Elemis wipes. These are my everyday wipes and I think they're brilliant! They're cheap in Tesco and normally 3 for 2. They're really soft and take off mascara etc really well.

Baylis & Harding Wild Rose Body Wash
As you know, I love B&H! I love their products because they're really nice on the skin. They last a long time and are a really quality buy. I loved using this and it was a really thick gel that could be used sparingly. I never like 'rose' scents but this one was really subtle!

Tesco Everyday Shampoo
I never use this on my hair, I use it on the dogs!
I always use this to wash the dog, but the main reason I buy it is so I can clean my makeup brushes! I love using this to clean them, it doesn't leave them clogged up and it's easy to wash out. I love how it doesn't leave them with a scent either.

Supersoft Apple Shampoo
This seemed like a really cheap shampoo. Like it wouldnt do much good for my hair. This was a last minute buy in Savers as I couldn't find any decent looking shampoo's and I wanted to try something new. Infact, it was quite good. It left me with a tiny bit of volume which I NEVER have in my hair, it's flat as a pancake! It left it feeling clean and was easy to rinse out..once I blowdried my hair, it was silky! I'd repurchase.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in 2 days time for my How To Style post!

Love you all, Zofia x

New MUA Items!

no photos belong to me, they all belong to the MUA facebook page.

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a good day and I hope you're all doing really well.
Friday tomorrow.. which if you're paid weekly..this means pay day! *woo*.
I have the perfect bargain items here and I thought I would share my first impressions on the new releases of MUA.

If you like the MUA facebook page (link) you will all know that any new products will be announced on there for the first sneak peek. I always want to get things from MUA but before I have chance to buy a new release, they have another new item out! I don't even have a big MUA collection, I have like 3 items from them and need to get a bigger collection as there is always something I want - and in reality, the items are VERY good quality considering they're not MAC prices.

So without rambling, I am going to go through the new products and share my first impression opinions with you. Feel free to comment below what products you'll be buying and which ones you have your eye on!

Undress Your Skin | Flawless Skin Primer | £3
Obviously, none of these products have been bought and tested. I'm not sure if they're out in stores or not so as of yet, I haven't heard any reviews. First impressions guys!
The packaging of this looks good. I love the metallic bronze packaging and it's quite different for MUA packaging and for a primer packaging. I'm not too obsessive over primers but I might give this a go. I like how it's a suitable price, I paid £11 for two of my No7 primers and I don't even like them!

Undress Your Skin | Radiant Under Eye Concealer | £2
I like the look of this. I don't have any items like this so I'll definitely be trying this out because of the good price range. This is in a pen form so it's an easy application for a right amount. Their website says it's lightweight so I hope it turns out to be that way!

Undress Your Skin | Illuminating Foundation | £3
I don't buy MUA foundations. They never sit right on my skin and always slide about and never really suit my skin tone perfectly. This might sound a certain way but I don't buy cheap foundation - I always stick to the other brands like Rimmel, Collection, Maxfactor, Maybelline etc.. I tried a Natural Collection foundation when I was about 11 and my spots went into overdrive! I know the MUA foundations suit a small amount of people and I know quite a few reviews said the same thing as me. They never feel matte enough either, they always feel really waterbased no matter now 'matte' they say they are! So I'm never really fussed when MUA announce a new foundation.

Pro Base | Conceal and Brighten Kit | £3.50
This is a product that didn't really interest me but now I'm warming to the idea of trying it out. I want a small collection of concealers to perk up my foundation collection and application a bit so I might give this a go. The packaging isn't the best and I don't think this was photographed well because the actual product looks slightly different in someone else's picture! It's a simple product to add to your collection - I think it's a back up from a high end product you may have.

Matte Perfect | Shine Control Foundation | £2
I don't think 'shine control' applies! I won't be purchasing this foundation either.

Pro Base | Complexion Kit | £6
This is a good on-the-go product, just like the concealer kit. It includes a powder foundation, concealer, and a shimmer. I personally won't be purchasing but it does look good.
‘Wear the cream to powder foundation for opaque, full coverage, or simply break it down to be more translucent by mixing it with some undressed flawless primer’ - Karla Powell, MUA’s Head of Make-up Artistry

Cover and Conceal | Concealer Wand | £1.50
I'll be purchasing! I like these type products for everyday use. I was going to buy one from Natural Collection for £2 - I'll still buy it and I'll buy this too and compare the both. It comes in 3 shades, Fair, Natural and Almond. I think this could be a product that many people rave about!

Matte Perfect | Primer | £4
One thing I'm not liking about the new MUA products, is the fact they have tooooo many primers and concealers. I don't see the difference? I would have liked different products to build up a collection. I won't be purchasing this.

Undress Me Too Palette | £4
I'm loving this! I lovelovelove the fact they have a follow up from the Undress Me palette. I haven't managed to buy that, typical me, but I WILL and I WILL get this one! £8 for two palettes.. £72 for 2 Naked Palettes.. such a bargain!
''The Undress Me Too Palette embraces this season’s fresh-faced look and urges you to strip back and go nude! Made up of 12 warm and timeless shades, this palette will suit allskin tones and any occasion.

The pearlescent flesh-toned finish of Shades Naked, Devotion and Shy are perfect for highlighting the eyes, while the shimmering bronze hues of Shades Fiery, Lavish and Dreamy give a sultry effect. There are even smouldering contour tones in Shades Tranquil, Exposed and Wink so that you can transform your minimalist day look into a sexy smokey eye in an instant.

Featuring a shade range that runs from the palest champagne to the grittiest gunmetal grey, this isn’t just ‘shades of beige. Each shadow has a distinct look that works for everyone.''

Undress Your Skin | Highlighting Powder | £2
I really want this! I need a highlighting collection and it's not something I have. I don't use these in everyday use and it's not something I think of adding to my routine. I absolutely love the look of this and the packaging is really nice too. The look of the actual product is so pretty and something to keep out on your desk!
''MUA Top Tips!:
Try applying a dusting of the highlighting powder over the brow bone, and then apply between the eyes and inside the inner corners of the eyes to brighten them up.
Undress your Skin Highlighting Powder can be layered ontop of blusher or bronzer too to add that extra glow to your skin.''

Hide and conceal | Cover up stick | £1
Another concealer.. I have a natural collection one of these so I won't be purchasing this. I like the packaging though, it's simple and easy to carry around during the day.

Matte Perfect | Loose Powder | £2.30
This is slightly more than my Natural Collection one, but I want to try this so I can compare. I'm a lover of powder now as I have oily skin and bronzers/blushers look a lot nicer with a finish on my foundation. I hope this one's just as good.

January Favorites | 2013

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages. Partly because there's not much going on at the moment and because most things I need to say have been on Youtube and cannot be made into posts - purely because they're makeup looks! I promise to blog more, but sometimes it's hard if there isn't anything.

As you all know *obvs* February says hello tomorrow and what a boring month it's been. I always find January to be a dull month, just because Christmas has gone and just because there isn't anything going on. Although this month for me, there was! I finally got myself a non paying job.. just for the experience and meeting people.

Anyway, less of the rambling and more of the favorites! Most of these are Christmas items and just small random bits. I haven't used much of my Christmas items, just because I like to save things - ha!

Sam Faires | TOWIE And Me | WHSmith | £8.96
I really enjoyed reading this. As a big fan of TOWIE and all the TOWIE cast, I wanted this as soon as it came out and I finally got it for Christmas. Many people have said it's not good and many bad reviews have come up on the internet but I find it a good read and enjoyed reading it. Most parts were about her beauty regime and pre TOWIE. She then went on to talk about some previous TOWIE cast, like Amy Childs.

Tea Tree And Mint Shower Gel | Superdrug | 86p
I absolutely love love love the smell of tea tree. Tea tree and mint goes well and I really love how fresh it is. I got this as a stocking filler and it's great for everyday use.

W7 Lashtastic Mascara | Savers
I didnt buy this, so I don't know the price. The packaging is a lot chunkier than Maybelline type mascaras, but looks a lot like them. I love the wand. As you can see in the photo its very chunky and coats everylash. It has a lot of bristles and it creates a non clump lash.

Pauls Nails | Pauls Boutique/BANK | Gold
This was my first nail polish of the year. I love the color and I love how it applies. I done a NOTW on this, if you want to check it out!

Body Shop | Born Lippy Lipbalm
I love this, I also reviewed this so check it out if you like!

Hope you all enjoyed this post and I promise to blog a bit more. What have you been loving this month?

Favorite 2012 Products

Welcome to my best 2012 products! I didn't really know what to pick but I managed to come up with a few! These are just based on things I've mentioned the most in 2012 and things I reach for everyday. These are actually all bargain type things and nothing is overly expensive. They're all things I would repurchase again and things that I think are quality, good value items.

Makeup
These items are things I definately use everyday. All of these items have lasted me a long while and most are no where near empty!

Max Factor Facefinity Foundation
This is only a sample and although the shade is quite a bit lighter than me, I enjoy using it. I always use a bit of bronzer anyway so the foundation doesn't change anything. I really like the coverage and you don't need a lot. I like how the sample has lasted me 4 uses and I still have the chance to use it one more time! It's quite a thick foundation but I really like how it applies. I definately have enjoyed using this for the last months of 2012 and I will purchase the full size.

MAC Nicki Minaj Viva Glam
This was my first MAC lipstick. I really wanted a bright pink lipstick and at the time, this was perfect .. it still is! I obviously don't use this every single day because I like using it for when I actually go out. For £14 I can see this lasting a long time so it's definitely worth it. I've really enjoyed using this in 2012 and in 2013 I really hope to expand my MAC collection.

Natural Collection Natural Loose Powder
I use this everyday. I use this to really top off my foundation to give me a non cakey look. It's lasted me a long time and I still have quite a bit left! The best part is - £2! For a long time, I needed something that stopped me being so shiny and greasy and oily. It drove me insane! This is the perfect everyday product.

MUA Lipstick
This color is RED! It's really smooth and moisturizing but very bold at the same time! I love how I can create a lipline with this too.

Maybelline Color 24 Hour Tattoo Eyeshadow
I love this as a base, or even as a simple day look on its own. Its really creamy but pats onto the eye perfect. I can create the perfect day or night smoky eye with this and I really want to collect all the shades!

Chit Chat Bronzer
Yes, this is a Poundland goodie.. I know a LOT of Bloggers who rave about Chit Chat bargains! I absolutely love their stuff and I'm not afraid to admit it! I think this gives a perfect glow without being overly noticeable. Its not shimmery and it gives the right amount. I have two of these and I use them everyday!

Boots Essentials After Sun
Random! I use this as a makeup primer. I picked this up in Green Park, London when I was burnt on my back in the summer *memories*. Its so cooling and I had a lot leftover so I thought to use it as a moisturizer under makeup. It gives the perfect satin finish base and I use this all the time under foundation/loose powder. £1.

Maybelline Colossal Cats Eye Mascara
Everyday mascara. I love love love the wand and it's not clumpy. My lashes get separated with the equal amount of product. It's lasted me since Christmas 2011 which is great. I love Maybelline mascaras, I think they're the best in the shops.

Maybelline Studio Drama Gel Eyeliner
This eyeliner was purchased in February, 2012. This was the first gel eyeliner I tried. I got really drawn in when the advert came on and I knew I had to try it! At first, I thought £7 was a bit ridiculous but looking back it was a decent purchase. It's lasted me ages and defines the eyes perfectly. I also use this everyday too!

Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick
Chubby stick dupe! For £1 instead of £16 I think this is a brilliant bargain. The color is so so so deep *look in my Blog profile picture* and really makes my lips bold. I love how it applies, smooth and creamy. This is the first one I bought and for Christmas I got the whole 6 collection! I seriously love them and they give me the amazing amount of color with a moisturizing bonus!

MUA Black Liquid Eyeliner
This is my everyday eyeliner. I seriously love the fine tip and how it creates a perfect cat eye. Because of the wand, it's perfect to get to the lashline and doesnt smudge.

MUA Lipstick
This color is RED! It's really smooth and moisturizing but very bold at the same time! I love how I can create a lipline with this too.

Nail PolishesThese shades are ones that I think were worth purchasing and ones that I haven't nessacarily worn 24/7 but ones that I love in my collection.

NYC High-Line Green
I can't explain how much I love this! It applies well and takes ages to chip. I've only worn it a few times but it will be a NOTW soon!

NYC Oh-Soho-Sweet
After ages of looking for the perfect nude shade, I finally found it! It's very light and basically unseen but it's great for school or for college if you need a nail polish but one that's not neon ha ha!

NYC Lights Camera Glitter
I love NYC. I really want to collect more nail polishes and I really hope to! This is the perfect glitter that I was looking for, for ages too because of the big particles. It doesn't go gloopy either so it stays smooth for days!

LA Color Fuji Purple
I love this and as you all know, I love LA colors nail polish. Every trip to London I pick up a few and this one was one of the nicest! I love all the LA color, colors but this one is such a classic hot pink. I don't really like hot pinks but this one is an acception!

KIKO
I'm unsure of this shade but I bought it from Westfields. I was looking for a navy blue for ages and this is such a thick, matte, navy blue. It doesn't chip for ages and I want to check out more of the KIKO shades.

Other

Lovely Mint Story - Treaclemoon
I always see the Treaclemoon products in Tesco and I'm really into these types of bubble bath/ shower gels. They're a lot like I Love.. products and I think they're great on the purse. I love this mint one as it's really fresh and always reminds me of Winter! It's lasted me a long time, probably because I have so much to use up!

Primark Spring Blossom Candle
This candle got me really into candles! I love this smell, its very overpowering when you smell it but when lit, it's subtle. I love jar candles and at a small price, this is great for an everyday candle because you can light it everyday without repurchasing at a high price. I only paid £1 so I will repurchase!

I hope you enjoyed this post and sorry if I've been a little repetitive..
