Product Comparisons #1

Hi everyone, today I'm comparing a few products for you all. I've already done this post but Blogger was being a wally and deleted EVERYTHING I had done..so round 2 it is! These products arn't the same brand or whatever but they should all do the same thing. I'll explain which ones I like/dislike and which ones I would repurchase and why. I hope this helps with future purchases etc - there will be #2 coming soon too! I hope you enjoy!

Flake Away VS Breakfast Scrub
Breakfast Scrub wins. I like it because it's for all over body, not just legs and it has a lovely smell. It uses natural ingredients and I've finally got to use it up and got to like it. It makes me silky smooth and mm!
I do like flake away but haven't actually used it much.

Skinology Tea Tree Face Scrub VS Scrub Your Nose In It
The wilko one is £1 and the S&G is around £7.. I prefer Wilko. I prefer Wilko because it's smooth and 'gel' like and the grains are tiny. I love the smell because it's fresh and not overpowering. The S&G one is very clay like and thick and it's like a mask. It also made me break out and didn't help my oily skin. The grains are very thick and it's like toothpaste slightly because of the smell and thickness. I wouldn't repurchase.

Natural Collection Mascara VS Maybelline Colossal Cats Eye
None win because I like them both. They both do different things and you can use them at the same time. I like the packaging on both.. I like the plain tube of Natural Collection and I like the leopard effect of the Maybelline tube. They're both drugstore but range from £1 to £7/8. I like the curved brush of Maybelline and I like the basic brush of natural collection. The Maybelline one curls lashes and separates while the Natural Collection one is brilliant for bottom and inner corner lashes.

Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick
Damson VS Autumn Leaf
Damson wins.
They're both very different even though they're the same brand/item. Damson is very pigmented and you don't need to use a lot, it's a S/S color and it's very smooth and balmy. Autumn Leaf is very balmy and non pigmented and doesn't stain the lips. I like them both and they're both really cheap at the cost of £1 but I'm more of a powerful pinks girl.. so Damson wins!

Beautybase Eyeliner VS Models Own VS MUA
These are all so different. They're different because of the applicator. Mua is a thin, small applicator while Beautybase is long and creates a perfect wing *if you have a steady hand* so they both win.. I don't like the Models Own one because the applicator is very thick and creates a thick line.. which I don't like for my eye shape. I like the MUA and Beautybase ones because they don't smudge and they're good at neat application.. both £1.

MUA pressed powder VS Natural Collection loose powder
Loose and pressed powders are totally different. Pressed powder, in my opinion, is best for dry skin or skin that needs amazing coverage. I find pressed powder to be overly cakey and quite hard to maintain on the face all day. Loose powder has become my new bestfriend because it's easy to blend, you don't go overboard, there are no mistakes made, you can keep covered all day and easily top up, you can get them inexpensively. The one I use is £1.99 from Natural Collection.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid VS Rimmel 25 Hour
I like them both. I used the Maybelline one before the Rimmel one and it's a really good coverage. The shade was dark and amazing for summer but now I use the Rimmel one everyday. The Rimmel one is buildable and slightly, slightly medium coverage but I always build it up anyway. They both lasted me ages and I'd repurchase both again.. noone wins!

I hope this post helped in some way or another and keep a look out for #2!

NOTW | Classic Red

Nails of the week time!
I didn't do last times NOTW because I haven't really painted my nails in a short while. I don't like having breaks, I like painting them all the time so sometimes they look pretty scruffy!

I can only but apologise that these look scruffy. They look scruffy because my cuticles are in a state and I never stop chomping away..nevermind! It's the color that matters - ha!

This weeks nails arn't branded but I do love them. I love classic red colors and it's the time of year where pastels are needed..but the weather doesn't suit them! It's still not the season! So I went for a classic red because it's the perfect in between!

I got this color from an unbranded makeup set. It applied well and I love the shade. I used a top coat, too.

Because it's unbranded, I thought I'd give you a list of nail polishes similar to this!

Hello everyone - haul time!
I've got a few things to show you all, not expensive/high end things, just things that I've seen recently and stuff I've bought!

I do have another haul in a few weeks but these things were bought in february time.

Flawless Caviar Nail Art | Poundland | £1
I love these. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to. I have the MUA one too, so I might compare the two. I this set I got a nail polish AND the caviar - £1. Wheras the MUA one is around £3/4 and you only get a small amount.

Boots Skin Clear Sheets | Boots | 50p
I picked these up because they we're only 50p. I wouldn't pick them up at normal price because I ALWAYS have a tissue haha! I still need to try them, but they look good.

Chit Chat Lipgloss | Poundland | £1
I picked this up in Poundland. It looked cool and something to add to my 'glossy tubes' collection, it IS sticky but I dont mind it over a lipstick. I don't think the purple color picks up but it caught my eye - why not!

Natural Collection Powder | Boots | £1.89
I use this all the time. It's an everyday product. It's cheap and does the job. It doesn't appear cakey and keeps me matte longer than plain foundation.

Boots Therapy Shower Gel | Boots | 89p
I've used this once and the smell is lovely. It was a random purchase with points on my card, so it was a  worthwhile purchase seeing as I love it! I want more.

Chit Chat Cheek Tint | Poundland | £1
I haven't used this but I hope it's a Benefit dupe. Benefit products always take my fancy and I've been looking for a dupe! I hope this works really well. I can't wait to use it.

Chit Chat Highlighter | Poundland | £1
I love it! I've used it a few times and it leaves a nice highlight on my non existing cheek bones. It doesn't appear toooo shimmery and doesnt make me look shiny!

Fabulous Lash | Miss Sporty | £1.99
I like this. I don't ever bother with Miss Sporty products but I had points so I decided to get something cheap aha. I like it, but I hate the fact it's not waterproof. It went EVERYWHERE during the snow..gr. I like the wand.

YSL Touche Eclait | Sample
I popped in store and got this. I need to use it better but I've kinda used it a bit.. it doesn't last very long and I don't think it suits my oily skin type. It'd dewy, not matte.. meh.

Nail art wheel | Poundland | £1
I like nail art. I don't like tacky nail art.. but I like the odd design. I got one of these as a stocking filler for xmas and I still need to use it, but I saw this different one in store and thought i'd pick it up.

Nail floral stickers | Poundland | £1
I've used these and they lasted long on my nails. They're pretty and really simple.

Chit Chat gel eyeliner | Poundland | £1
I tried using this.. it doesn't really work.. it didn't really show up. Nevermind, not a waste for £1!

Rimmel Match Perfection | Boots | £6.99
I like this! Rimmel foundations are always perfect. They work on my skin and they don't cost a lot. I love the red foundation they do, so I decided to get this. It's medium coverage and buildable. I will review this soon anyway.

Maybelline FIT me sample
I've used this and the color looks SO orange! But once applied it works best. It's a summer shade so I do need to use this to tell you what I think, I've not used it much but I think it's good.

Pearly teeth whitening sample
Again, another product that I need to use! I'm excited to try it!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Sorry I haven't tried many things.. but you'll hear what I think anyway. Lots of love! xo

How I'd Style.. A Leather Skater Skirt!

how i'd style a leather skater skirt
JUMPER - TOPSHOP (link)
SKIRT - TOPSHOP (link)
LIPSTICK - RIMMEL
TRAINERS - NEW LOOK
CHAIN - NEW LOOK

Hello everyone, style time!
I've changed my name, by the way - and I updated my blog! I'm not going to ramble on about that too much though, I normally have a big discussion in my blog posts before I egt round to the actual post so yes, I have changed my banner and URL - I was resterbelle I'm not littlemisspradaxo just like twitter&youtube.

Moving on to the post! I'm styling a 'leather' skirt. Ofcourse it's not real leather, it's 'pleather'. I absolutely LOVE this outfit..it's something I'd like to wear, unusually..
I don't normally go for outfits like this, but, I've been loving the casual look recently and I thought that it was a good way to style this skirt.

Leather skirts have been floating around the Blogging world a lot these past few months and EVERYONE has been buying one! I love them and I think they're great to style. They've also been great to wear in the winter, even thought they're not woolies!

Another trend is wedged trainers. I hate trainers. I'm not sporty and I don't own a pair because they're not me. I used to be very 'trainer and joggers' girl when I was younger, until 11 that's all I'd wear! But looking at a pair of trainers is not my thing now a days, so they don't take my interest.
I do like these though! I think they're good to style and they're good to throw on. Even though this is a skirt and trainers and skirts arn't the best combo, I think wedges keep the girlyness in the outfit.

I like the oxblood/burgundy and gold combo too. This is another big trend with the heavy jewlerry and oxblood colors. I love the cropped jumper and although it's warm, it's also cropped for the windy, spring days!

For the makeup, I teamed the outfit up with a wine color lipstick. This one looks pretty good from Kate Moss and I want to try some of the collection.. because yes, ofcourse, this is Zofia.. I haven't had the chance to get some of the collection yet, haha! #alwayslate.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'd love to know how you'd style a leather skirt! Have a brilliant weekend! Speak to you all on Sunday for my Haul post - 6pm UK time and 8pm UK time for the Bloggers chat on Twitter! ..if I remember..

Lots of love, Zx

Ways To Follow Me & Quick Update!

Well, this is unusual!
I haven't done an update in a small amount of time and I have a few things to remind you all or update you with, or to just generally chat about.

I missed yesterdays post, stupid me, so I just thought I'd post today. Tomorrows post is going to be How I'd Style A Leather Skirt! Yesterdays post was meant to be a NOTW but I haven't done my nails so I couldn't post!

I thought I'd just jump on the bandwagon and mention the Google polava and tell you all that I'm on bloglovin.. I have NO idea what all this Google thing is about, but looking at twitter it doesn't seem very handy so I joined Bloglovin like a lot of other people have done. So if you would like to keep up to date with my blog, please visit my Bloglovin here! It's much appriciated, but do remember to keep following via GFC - just in case.

The next thing I want to move onto is my shop! I used to have an Etsy store but everything expired and to put everything back on there again would cost A LOT seeing as it's 20p to upload and doesn't make sense. So for anyone interested in jewlery, handmade items etc - I have a shop page on here with items on there. Everything is made by me and it's another one of my hobbies! Check it out if you're interested.

Moving on to another 'shop' type update, I now have a Blog Sale tab. This is for anything I don't want anymore, I always have things stuffed in a draw or stuff that has it's label on etc and I thought a blog sale would come in handy because I have a product that I don't want already and someone else could benefit from it. I'll be updating that page by the end of the week for anyone that wants to take a look!

My next point is my blog name. I love Rester Belle a lot. I really do. When I joined the blogging community all the way back in June and I had no idea I'd love it this much - it was a name that came straight into my head. Rester Belle is french for Stay Beautiful and I thought it was a cute name for a blog. I didn't really know what to call it and I didn't think I should call my blog the same thing as my Youtube. Now as my Youtube needs a new layout - Youtube One - I need a banner for Youtube. I cannot change my Youtube name which is a shame, BUT I CAN change my blog name.. I'm thinking of changing ResterBelle over to Little Miss Prada xo but I don't know if it's a good idea or not. If I have Little Miss Prada for everything then I can keep the same banner/logo for everything.. but will my followers go, will people get confused? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! So anyone that wants to comment and tell me what to do, please do! I think i'm going to do it and I do want to, but I don't know if it's a good idea or not.

And the last point is - Patisserie! I also have a baking page open for anyone that wants to have a nosy at some sweet treats! I love baking and it's become a weekend obsession so I'll always update you with my baking goodies over on that page!

All pages are at the top of my blog underneath the title. I hope this post was an ok replacement and I hope you don't mind the ramble! I like updating you all:-)

I hope you've had a brill week and don't worry, Friday's here!

Lots of love pretties xo

How I'd Style.. A Bandeau!

BLACK BANDEAU | BOOHOO | £5 LINK
LEOPARD HOTPANTS | CHIARAFASHION | £4.95 | LINK
BLACK WEDGES | NEW LOOK | £19.99 |LINK
Hello everyone!
Welcome back to another style post - this time, it's a very summery one!
I know the outfit shows off a lot of skin and it's not really the skin season at the moment, but, just incase the sun comes out - or if you're doing some summer clothes shopping - then I came up with an outfit of How I'd Style A Bandeau!

Last summer, Bandeau's were popular for putting under tops to layer up or to protect your lady bits with a chiffon dress! But, if you're brave and your name isn't Zofia, then you can wear them alone with shorts, skirts, disco pants or jeans! The possibilities are endless because they're pretty cheap and they're very plain.. they're so easy to style.

I, myself, don't own a bandeau because I don't feel confident with one! But, if you have the figure to dream of -or if you feel fine wearing one- then they're perfect for summer and great for hot weather.

I put a plain, simple, black bandeau with leopard print hotpant shorts because I wanted to add a bit of pattern. I don't own these shorts but everrrryone had these last year! They are a bit out there but they're fun for summer and shorts are a summer essential!

I paired the clothes up with wedges. You have your legs out and I'm only 4'11 so I'd need some wedges to make my legs look longer. With shorts and a bandeau I'd look quite short because I have my legs and arms uncovered! I hope that makes sense.

The shorts are pretty multipurpose too because they're paneled. Meaning they should slightly slim you because they pattern is only on a certain section on the front.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! My next How To Style.. is going to be How I'd Style a leather skirt!
Just thought I'd remind you all or mention it just incase, I'm now on BLOGLOVIN' because of the whole GFC polava, so if you would like, please follow me on Bloglovin...

Lots of love, x

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hello everyone!
This is a no picture blog post today, as I can't post the post I was meant to because I didn't upload the YT video for it.. my next proper post will be the 16th though, don't worry!
I couldn't forget about you all and not post so I'm going to be doing a tag post that I was tagged in by Song Of My Sole.
I'm going to get on with doing the tag and I hope you all enjoy!

Rules
1. You must copy and paste these 'rules' onto your post when you write it; it doesn't take long!

2. You must state that this tag was created by 'The Beau Bow' and link www.thebeaubow.blogspot.com

3. You must thank the person who tagged you at the start of your post (link their blog as well) -follow them if you're feeling nice!, and then at the end of your post state who you tag, and then comment on their blog on their latest post to let them know you tagged them, and link your post so they can see what to do.

4. Title this post 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG' so everyone knows what it is about.

5. Have fun! :)

Questions1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.
Recently, I've been doing everything. I've been doing haircare - using masks and oil samples. I've been using skincare because I've broken out massively via Elemis..and I've been doing my makeup regime.. do I'm not too sure! I'm not sure if this is a right answer or whatever but I don't really ever do my eyebrows when doing my makeup. I hardly fill them in and I think they look okay as they are..
A regime though.. I think facial masks? I'm not sure!

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
Yeah. I never used to. I do now. Twice this week, infact!

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Not long.. if it chips, I always take it off. I paint them every week, so if it comes off on the 5th day, I always wait until thr 7th day.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty product or nail polish product even if you need it?(i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
Long.. things like wet wipes, cotton wool etc always get bought. But things like lipglosses don't.. I'll use whatever I have in my collection. Foundations always get replaced if I don't have a new one because I neeeeeeed foundation!

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Touching my face! I always moan about spots but I sit there leaning on my hand. I do the occasional sleeping with makeup on, but I hardly do that anymore.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Schoolwork. Haven't done it in a while.. I will tomorrow! After filming Youtube videos, ofcourse;) It's just long and eurgh.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
I just take 45 mins to do makeup..so if I'm going out at 12, I'll get ready at 10 and see how long it takes.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Yep. I hardly ever go shopping. I do it once a month - not exactly high end products I'll give you that!

9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
Pretty organised. I don't have polish storage yet, I have little boxes for my makeup, though.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?

Not long...a week maybe?

NOTW | Mirror Black

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing okay!
Another NOTW post for you today, I enjoy doing these and they've become a regular series on my blog.

This weeks nails are very shimmery, black and 'party' like. They ARE a bit scuffed and scruffy and not done to my best ability, partly because this picture wasn't taken soon as I done them and I had to go to work straight after I done these so they got a little bit ruined and when I was applying them, I was in a bad rush - so apologies for that one!

The nail polish I used is Goldigga and as far as I know, I've never had any of their products before and they've never taken any interest to me. I got a set of three for Christmas and in the set included a pink & gold - plus this one. If I'm guessing right, I think these are from Savers.

Soon as I saw this polish I loved it and the color was perfect. I don't have a big collection of blacks and I loved this black polish especially because of the gold shimmers. I do like black polish and it's such a basic color but I personally think the perfect one is hard to find. I like black polishes that don't leave a mess on the nails & skin and black polishes that apply really well and don't chip quick. If a black polish chips, it doesn't look overly bad but it'd not the best! I think black polishes are really classy and simplistic and obviously go with everything! The gold shimmer adds a hint of girlyness and party look to the black, block color.

I applied this and it looked perfect. I then painted each and every fingernail on my left hand while in a rush. While it was drying, I carried on with my makeup. After 10 minutes I checked to see if it was dry and they weren't.. they felt quite sticky and gloopy which I HATE in a nail polish. I then took it off and tried to reapply. By this time, I had to leave it on for work so I tried my best to dry it somehow. I used the hairdryer! They managed to dry and they look pretty nice so I decided to use Glamour magazine's Nails Inc polish for extra shimmer and a bit of clear gloss. It hasn't chipped very easy.

I like this polish and I love the color a lot. I had a bit of problem with the application but this was probably because I was in a rush. All in all, 6.5/10!

How I'd Style.. Disco Pants

how id style disco pants, (blog)

NEXT CHIFFON SHIRT £12 link | LAVISH ALICE DISCO PANTS £24 |
NUDE CORK T-BAR SANDALS £25

Hello everyone!
As always, this post was meant to be up yesterday but I'm a wally and forgot!
It's another How I'd Style... post and I hope you enjoy!

I've edited the outfit picture a bit different to my previous style post, I hope you like it!

This will only be a quick one, but I thought I'd show how I'd style a pair of disco pants, if I had any, and what I would put with them. I don't believe I have good legs for these, even if black is slimming! So I don't think I'll be getting some anytime soon, but, they're great things to style!

I saw this top on Next.co.uk and I really like the style. It's quite floaty and not tight so I suppose it's good to have a top like this if you have tight leggings..
I like the design and think it's pretty simple. I like these leggings from lavishalice.co.uk as they're plain disco pants.

The shoes are also my favorite from Next - I love the nude color and I love the heel style. I think the nude color breaks up the black a little.

Hope you enjoyed this post .. please request any outfits you want me to put together and I will!

Lots of love x

February Empties

Another month over, another bunch of products that have been sitting in a bag ready to be lobbed out.. but Zofia finally remembered to photograph some and pop on here!

I have a good amount of empties this month, a small range of everyday bits that I use and need. Not that interesting but here we go!

Nivea Q10 Body Oil | Sample Size
This was just a sample but I liked the idea. I didn't see what the point of it was, but this is probably because it wasn't a repetitive programme.. it was just a one use product. I think if you used it once a week and your skin knew you were using it, I think you'd see effects of what it was meant to do. I haven't heard any reviews on this etc but it seemed pretty cool.

Gliss Conditioner For Colored Hair
I like the Gliss shampoo's/Conditioner's. I normally get the pinky colored bottle but they didn't have that and I thought that this smelled nice anyway, so I didn't mind too much! This was an alright product, it did weigh my hair down slightly and the product was quite thick. Like I said over on my Youtube channel, I'd repurchase if I didn't have anything else.. but it's not a go to product and it's not something I'd be looking forward to use.

Palmolive Soft And Gentle
This is just my basic, everyday deodorant!

COLOR Macara
This is a New Look mascara from a gift set. I enjoyed using this, it was very runny and had a very thick applicator. I hardly used it but it was used every so often. It's gone dry now so I'll probably keep the wand as always and use it in brow gel!

Baby Wipes
I use these to remove makeup when I don't use my Elemis wipes. These are my everyday wipes and I think they're brilliant! They're cheap in Tesco and normally 3 for 2. They're really soft and take off mascara etc really well.

Baylis & Harding Wild Rose Body Wash
As you know, I love B&H! I love their products because they're really nice on the skin. They last a long time and are a really quality buy. I loved using this and it was a really thick gel that could be used sparingly. I never like 'rose' scents but this one was really subtle!

Tesco Everyday Shampoo
I never use this on my hair, I use it on the dogs!
I always use this to wash the dog, but the main reason I buy it is so I can clean my makeup brushes! I love using this to clean them, it doesn't leave them clogged up and it's easy to wash out. I love how it doesn't leave them with a scent either.

Supersoft Apple Shampoo
This seemed like a really cheap shampoo. Like it wouldnt do much good for my hair. This was a last minute buy in Savers as I couldn't find any decent looking shampoo's and I wanted to try something new. Infact, it was quite good. It left me with a tiny bit of volume which I NEVER have in my hair, it's flat as a pancake! It left it feeling clean and was easy to rinse out..once I blowdried my hair, it was silky! I'd repurchase.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in 2 days time for my How To Style post!

Love you all, Zofia x

A Few Gifts For Mothers Day!

mothers day (blog post)

Hello everyone!

I wasn't meant to blog today, but I've decided to throw a cheeky blog post in, seeing as it's an 'event' type post and so it doesn't matter that I've bugged you all 3 days in a row!

It's Mothers Day this Sunday and - if you're like me - you still haven't gone racing through the shopping center looking and chocolates, flowers and perfumes..let alone buy anything! Fear not, because tomorrow is Friday meaning it's the weekend.. you still have time!

I think Mothers Day is such a personal day. Many gifts include flowers, chocolates, photo's, bath things, perfumes and makeup. The typical womanly items. To pick a gift for someone is incredibly hard as it is, unless your relative knows you're a beauty blogger and wouldn't mind anything off a beauty counter OR you have an xbox/playstation loving guy in the house!

I don't know what I'll be buying for my mum, but I never go for the typical stuff. My mum isn't a chocolate eater, if so, she'll nick a bit of mine.. but she won't race to the shop to get a bar! Mum's not too keen on perfumes and it's not something she collects..although I do know she loves the Body Shop's 'Musk' perfume - it's her signature scent! - but, I got her that for Christmas..
We also share the large quantity of overloading makeup together anyway, so it'd be pointless in getting her a red lippy or some beauty bits, because we have enough.

BUT, if your really, really, really stuck for ideas - fear not! - I attempted scouring the web to find you all some lovely presents to give to your mum on Mothers Day!

NEXT | Gift Box | £30
I know. It seems very pricey!
I love the thought of this, it's pre-made I know.. but, it's a nice touch. It includes Rose wine, flowers and gift cards. I know you can pick these all up in single items for a tiny less of the price, but I think that because it's quite near the day, to get these delivered would be nice.
http://www.polyvore.com/next_flowers_gift_cards_delivered/thing?id=78322141

Sanctury | Escape & Unwind Collection | £20.50
As you all know, I love Sanctury! I loved the idea of this gift set because it's really worth it and you can even give your mum the 2,500 Boots points to spend on herself after, haha!
This collection seemed quite womanly and mature. Every mum likes to unwind and I think Sanctury products are really good quality and totally worth it. This is definitely something I recommend.

Personalized Heart Trinket Box | buyagift.co.uk
I've never used this website before and I've only just come across it. I love the idea of easily finding a gift that gives you a decent amount of choices. This is a website that I'll definitely use in the future and a website that is SUCH a big help!
I came across a personalized heart trinket box which I suppose isn't a typical kinda gift. It's more personal and more thought has gone into it. I love the idea of this and I suppose if you have any trinkets that have been passed down in the family - maybe from your mums mum - that means a lot, you could pop trinkets in here like jewelerry, photo's etc that mean a lot.. so it's more of a personal keepsake and something she can keep forever. More of a memory. You can check out more gifts for mothers day using this link if you wanted -

Thorntons Personalized Chocolates
This is a great personalized gift! If your mum is a total chocoholic then definitely purchase some! They're personalized so I suppose you could personalize them with 'i love you' or something a bit more different! I personally don't like to buy chocolates for mum because she doesn't like them, but also, because it's not much of a gift.. this is just my own opinion but I think it's something that can't be cherished, remembered and kept.. it's an everyday item!

Perfume
Perfume is the hardest gift. Us bloggers find it HARD to describe a scent, let alone choose one for someone else! I spend about an hour in a perfume section of Boots smelling & testing perfumes WITHOUT buying so picking for someone else would be painful! haha.
Perfume is very personal and something you either hate or love. Finding someone else's signature scent is difficult because they could either love it or hate it. I think  if you got someone's scent wrong, it would go completely downhill.. partly because  perfumes can either be out there, subtle, girly, young, mature, womanly, masculine.. there are all different scents and although a perfume might smell pretty and it says 'Chanel' on the glass bottle, does not mean your mum will like it! If you do want to get her a perfume, maybe ask her what ones she likes.. ask her about her top 5 and then you're not giving the game away. Or maybe, use Boots points.. I know it sounds daft but if you pick her up the Sanctury set for example, you could go perfume shopping with her to let her decide after. Just make sure you pick the right one! Many Jo Malone perfumes are suitable, I think, so you could go with that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope I gave you a small idea of things you could get last minute. Sorry it might have been a bit Cliche but I can't even think of what to get for my mum ahaha!
I hope you and your mum all have a brilliant day together and don't argue as much as me & mine do! Happy mothers day to all!

Lots of love!

March Wishlist | 2013

march wishlist (for my blog)

Hello!
Wednesday again, finally..
I was meant to do this wishlist yesterday because I do it every 5th of the month, but I posted my Sigma code instead so I'm sorry about that.

These wishlists seem to come round SO fast and before I know it, I'm collaging away and looking for things I want..not need!
I like todays post because I think this is my best wishlist so far, sounds crazy but it looks good.. haha! *dizzy moment*

I have quite a few more products than I usually do, just because I got carried away and couldn't wait till next month to show you. All of these things are actually reasonably priced and when I get round to doing some shopping, I hope to get them.. and although I've said that in every post so far - I know I should get one thing off this wishlist, purely because I don't sh about the apocalips to the mother!

Textured Dress | Chiarafashion.co.uk | £19.95
I fell in love as soon as I saw this! I saw this for the same price in New Look in around November time and it's perfect! I love the whole black and white trend at the moment and this is beautiful! Skater/shift dresses are me and I love them. This is absolutely perfect because the flower detail has a textured, felt type feel to it.. love, love, love this! So much!

Rimmel Apocalips | Boots
Not sure how much these are.. not bothered! I really want to try some of these and I knew quite some time ago these would be released and now everyone's on the bandwagon! I love the look of them and I love the reviews. I really wanted to build up a nude lip collection as I don't have any and the nude shade in this looks perfect! I really want to try some of the pink shades too!

Sleek Blusher; Sahara| Superdrug | £4.49
For the price of Sleek, I'm surprised I haven't tried any products. I've never tried any Sleek based items and I'd love to. I plan to!
I'd love to try Nars' Laguna bronzer. Everyone raves and raves and raves about it but I just don't have the bank balance! The packaging of this looks slightly Nars dupe as does the shade.. I may be wrong but going on first impressions I really want to try it. The price is brill too, and everyone loves Sleek so I'm a bit behind!

Sleek Eyeliner; Dazzling Black | Superdrug | £5.99
I love eyeliners. Nearly everyday I wear one. I love how they make my eyes look. I've always been an eyeliner girl and I used to wear it excessively.. most days now, I'm practicing a new look with no eyeliner. Although I wear it everyday, I'm still looking for a perfect eyeliner that defines, doesn't smudge and lasts a long time...one that also creates a neat, thin line. I heard someone on Youtube mention this a few days ago and it looks great and the price is pretty good if I don't get along with it. Another Sleek product that I need to try!

Mesh Playsuit | Missguided.co.uk | £29
I don't want this particular one.. I want a dupe! I love the idea of playsuits and after many years of wanting one, I haven't even got one! I love how pretty they are and the idea of pairing them with sandles and stuff and I feel like these over jumpsuits are much better, because of my height. I love the mesh design and mesh designs are becoming more of a trend for spring now - I've seen them on loads of dresses! This is really pretty.

MAC Viva Glam 2 | MAC | £14
Why do so many people hate this?
I know the shade looks SCARY but I really want this so I can blend it with some pinks and some lipglosses.. I have many ideas for this and I absolutely LOVE the shade! I love Viva Glam 1 and I really want this one. Next time im in London I have actually been promised this so I think I'm going to get it. I love the shade and the more the merrier for charity!

OPI Do You Lilac It? | OPI | £11
I love OPI nail polishes now. I've become obsessed. I love their color range and this  one is b-e-a-utiful! I love lilacs and this one is just the prettiest! I love lilacs for spring and I think I need to unlove my Barry M one now - it's becoming a repetitive one on here! I'm definately going to be getting this, the shade goes well with the lipstick, too!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, don't forget to leave your wishlist links in the comments and I'll check them out! My next post is February Empties so if you're not already, follow me for a follow back so you can keep up with my every 2 day posts!

Lots of love, Zofia x
