New Perfume Releases | Summer 2014

Untitled #639
Roberto Cavalli - Exotica,

Jimmy Choo - Exotic
Daisy Delights
Juicy Couture Malibu
Juicy Couture Lala Malibu,
Flowerbomb Rose Edition,
CK One Summer
Hello lovelies, I hope you're all having a lovely Easter. As I'm overdosing on chocolate and treating myself to a Sunday off work, I thought I would pop on and give you all a fragrance post.

As I've been busying myself at work I've noticed so many new releases come in which I've tried and tested - I must say that Summer 2014 fragrances are my favourite! I'm not really one for floral/sweet type perfumes I like fruity/sweet/musky/vanilla type scents so recently I have been reaching for scents such as Gucci Rush, Black XS, Lacoste Eau Sensuelle, Burburry Body etc but some Summer fragrances this year have really caught my eye! ...or should I say nose?

Roberto Cavalli | Exotica | 75ml £57.50

I'm not really a fan of Roberto Cavalli so when I tested this summer scent I was actually surprised, it's a difficult one to describe but it's very fruity floral. Ingredients include Mango, Frangipani, and Creamy sandalwood. The ingredient I like most is the Mango, this gives it the fruity side with the Frangipani making it quite sweet.

Jimmy Choo | Exotic | 60ml for £43.50

The other two Jimmy fragrances aren't my favourites, I must say.... if anything, I'd probably test Jimmy Choo edt but wouldn't wear it that much so it's a huge surprise that I'm actually in love with this scent. It's gorgeous. I would definitely say it's fruity and is my go to summer scent this year. I love the packaging and bottle and it's a huge difference to Flash or Jimmy Choo Fragrance. Ingredients include Tiger Orchid, Patchouli, Blackcurrent Sorbet and Pink Grapefruit. Passionfruit and Raspberry flower are also included. I love the mix of all these ingredients, it's definitely one you should try if you like perfumes like Black XS, Gucci Rush and maybe Prada Candy - very sweet, girly, feminine and ofcourse fruity! My favourite scent so far this year.

Daisy Delight | 50ml £44.99

At first I didn't like Daisy, as time went on and I got a bottle from work I grew to love it and it's definitely been my start of the year scent. When we got this in work I was excited to try it and I like the multicolor bottle. I do prefer Daisy over this but if you're a Marc Jacobs fan I'd definitely give this a try. Freesia, Iris, Gardinia, Musk and Apple partly make up this scent.

Juicy Couture Malibu/Lala Malibu | 75ml for both, £46.50

I don't really know how to describe these scents - they're sweet, as most Juicy fragrances are and they're very girly. I find that the pink bottle is moresugary sweet and the orange bottle is more fruity sweet. Lala Malibu (Pink Bottle) is made up of Green Apple, Mandarin, Red Currant, Guava, Flower petals, Lily, Orange Blossom, Frangipani, White Peony, Musk, Woods, Pink Sugar Crystals. Malibu is made up of Watermelon, Tangerine, Black currant, Passion fruit, green apple, Rose, Lily, Jasmine, Frangipani, Creamy Musk, Wood, Tiare blossom. *breathes*.

Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose | 50ml £57.50

In my Peterborough store we don't sell Viktor & Rolf so I haven't actually tested this - I'm off to work in Cambridge in the morning so I'm hoping they stock it. Flowerbomb is such a bestseller and a well asked for perfume so I'm sure all Flowerbomb finatics will go mad for this scent so I'm hoping to test it. Rose, Jasmine and Orchid make this scent up - three simple notes. Citrus and exotic scents.

CK One Summer | 100ml £29.50

CK one is such a popular scent. Lovely for spring as it's citrusy.
I love CK One summer just the same as it's like Tequila in a perfume! Lovely as an everyday scent but not for females who aren't too keen on sweet smells. Frozen lime, grapefruit, melon, freesia, cypress, tequila accord, coconut water, crushed sugar, cedarwood. Who fancies a day at the beach? Yum!

I hope you've all enjoyed this post, What summer fragrances are you wearing at the moment? Let me know!

Fragrance Review | 212 VIP

Hello girls, welcome to my first fragrance review!
Even though I work in a Perfume Shop I still find it hard to pin point and describe scents. I obviously know what goes into most scents and I'm good at smelling notes but sometimes I find some scents hard!

Obviously fragrance is very unique to each person so something I might find sweet you may find it fruity.

With this fragrance, as it's a parfum it did actually last the whole day. I noticed the notes change through the day, too. I instantly smelled vanilla when I first sprayed this - definitely something I look for in a scent. Bergamont and bitter orange are the two notes you smell first - I could smell Bergamont. Top notes wear away in 5 or so minutes so I didn't smell these for long, they're quite strong at first but a few minutes in the top notes get subtler. Jasmine and Tuberose are next - I'm not sure I could identify these notes, I could still smell the top notes more. Next are Vanilla, Musk and Sandalwood which I could smell all day - my perfect scent. I love musky, vanilla scents so I loved wearing this perfume.
I would say this perfume is perfect for day or night, I wouldn't say it's too heavy but it's noiceable.

Starts at £32.99 for a 30ml - www.theperfumeshop.co.uk

Fragrance Haul

Hello girls! I know I've been off the blogging bandwagon lately and all I can do is apologise... I will be doing an update in the new year for you so keep a look out for that.
As you can tell, I've been working really hard.... I've got a haul for you today and it's no ordinary haul - it's a fragrance haul with the items I won a few weeks back at work!

When I won all these fragrances I was so excited, I've been testing them all *the ladies ones, ofcourse* and so I'll be doing mini reviews for you soon telling you all what I think of them!

Euphoria | Calvin Klein | Starts at £35.50 for a 30ml
Euphoria by Calvin Klein was introduced in 2005 as a fun, enticing scent for women. The beautiful fragrance starts off with pomegranate, persimmon, and a lovely lush green accord. The heart then blends into a sensual lotus blossom, black orchid which then finishes off with amber, violet, cream and woods.

Prada Candy | Prada | Starts at £55.50 for a 50ml
An Eau de Parfum to reveal the explosive sensuality of the Prada Candy femininity.

212 VIP | Carolina Herrera | Starts at £32.99 for a 30ml
Being a true VIP is all about private rules. Do you really know what private means? 212 VIP invites you backstage of this exciting urban, exclusive, fun and young lifestyle...

Angel | Theirry Mugler | Starts at £26.99 for a 15ml
Angel, the first fragrance by Thierry Mugler, is a voluptuous Oriental Gourmand with a celestial top of bergamot and helional as pure and transparent as air; a delicious heart of fruit and honey, which evoke mouth-watering childhood memories; and a sensual, passionate base of vanilla, chocolate, caramel and patchouli. And it has stunning movie star looks too... A collection of truly beautiful bottles resembling dazzling stars cut from a night blue sky

La Petite Robe Noir | Guerlain | Starts at £35.50 for a 30ml
An absolutely essential and utterly irresistible perfumed creation.
The legendary 'heart-shaped' bottle has been boldly reinterpreted with a modern touch. Its crystalline transparency, fading from black to powdery pink, reveals the silhouette of the little black dress. Like the cut of a dress, my fragrance is shaped with all of Guerlains’ finesse.
Its simple signature enhances and romances several exceptional materials in a bold overdose. Black cherry blinks the first wink. It is illustrated by a clever blend that extends exquisite almond and delicious berries. The second wink takes place as rose enters the stage. Finally, the shadowy temptations of licorice and smoky black tea reveal more of me and lead to irresistible seduction. For the ultimate temptation, the entire creation is wrapped in Guerlinade.
Fresh, enigmatic and exhilarating… Mischievous and captivating… I am the warm spark beneath the sweetness. I am absolutely essential and utterly irresistible. I am the chic and very seductive, perfumed creation by Guerlain.

I also won a Smashbox primer, Givenchy Mascara and a Geurlain moisturiser and Euphoria lotion.
I won mens fragrances - Jean Paul Gaultier, Boss Bottled, David Beckham, Euphoria and Gentlemen only.

Perfume & Body Spray Collection

Ahhhh happy Friday lovelies!
This post was uploaded at 7.30 as usual but silly me didn't add text ha! *covers face*.

Today's post is my perfume collection, as you all may know I've had an interview this week for the Perfume Shop and I find out if I've got the job early next week - I'll obviously rant and rave on twitter so I'll obviously keep you posted!
I scheduled this post ages ago and what a turn up for the books this is haha!

I'm not going to go through every single one but I'll go into little detail on which ones I love and which ones I use more often than others.

Katie Price Precious Love | Katie Price is my idol so ofcourse I have this perfume. It's also a really girly one so I love it. I can actually imagine Katie wearing a scent like this - it's a lovely, lovely scent.

Cher Lloyd Perfume | I got this one for Christmas, I love it. It's really sweet and really me. I love the vanilla scents and it has white chocolate in it! I have two of these and I'm actually selling one over on my blog sale *unused*.

Britney Radiance | Britneys perfumes are always nice but this is the only one I have! I love the bottle.

Dahlia Noir | I picked this sample up at The perfume shop with my Cher purchase. It's a really strong smelling perfume, very 'adult' so I don't use this much.

Playboy Fragrances | These are really nice, I know they're not everyone's taste but I like the scent. I prefer the black one over the red one.

I have other fragrances which aren't photographed but they're unbranded. I also have 'Gucci Envy Me' perfume but as always, I forgot to photo it! D:
My Youtube video is HERE if you wanted to see the unphoto'd one.

For sprays, I have a few! They're handy for freshening up.
My favourite's include the bottom spray picture, whereas the red sprays arn't my favourite. I think from the top photo, I only like Playboy Rock - the rest I hardly use.

I also have a few samples, Britney (black) radiance, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, Gucci Premiere, Next just pink, Radiance Britney Spears, Eau De Lacoste.
I think for samples, I love them all. I hardly use them because I love saving them! They're all really nice though.

What perfumes do you like?
Do you have a go to fragrance?

March Empties

L-R
Lovely Mint Story Bubble Bath
Maybelline BB Cream Sample
Palmolive Deoderant
Loreal Elvive Conditioner
Beautiful Brunette Shampoo
Wet Wipes
Cotton Wool Balls
Snow Fairy Wand
Lovely Mint Story | Tesco
I loved using this, I used it quite regular and it's easy to purchase by visiting your local Tesco! I love the Treaclemoon bubble baths and I want to try more! It was affordable too.

Maybelline BB Cream | Sample
This was alright but I'm not too keen on BB creams. I thought this was just the same as a foundation and I don't see the 'hype' around a BB cream. This felt the same on my skin just the same as a lightweight foundation did. Why pay £4/5 for a BB cream when you can pay £8 for a larger bottle of foundation?

Palmolive Deoderant | Tesco/Boots
I use this everyday to keep me fresh and fragrant! It's nice on the underarms and does the job!

Loreal Conditioner | Boots/Tesco
I love this and I want to purchase another. I love the fact it leaves my hair silky soft and it's not overpriced.

Beautiful Brunette Shampoo | Boots
This was ok-ish but didn't really suit my hair. I thought it would restore my natural brunette but it didn't. It didn't really do anything spectacular so I don't think I'll repurchase.

Wet Wipes | Tesco
I use these everyday to freshen up my skin and to remove makeup. They're suitable for babies and young children so they're soft.. this is why I love them on my skin. They do a good job and they're just an everyday essential. Affordable and good to use!

Cotton Wool | ASDA
I picked these up from Asda. Along with my wet wipes I like using these for cleanser because they're big balls and they do the whole face in 3/4 balls. They're really soft too!

Snow Fairy Wand | LUSH
I love this! First time I tried it and mmmm, the scent is SO nice! It's a Christmas edition for Lush but I found the wand at the bottom of my empties bag, so I needed to mention!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tried any of this months empties? I feel like March went on forever?!

A Few Gifts For Mothers Day!

mothers day (blog post)

Hello everyone!

I wasn't meant to blog today, but I've decided to throw a cheeky blog post in, seeing as it's an 'event' type post and so it doesn't matter that I've bugged you all 3 days in a row!

It's Mothers Day this Sunday and - if you're like me - you still haven't gone racing through the shopping center looking and chocolates, flowers and perfumes..let alone buy anything! Fear not, because tomorrow is Friday meaning it's the weekend.. you still have time!

I think Mothers Day is such a personal day. Many gifts include flowers, chocolates, photo's, bath things, perfumes and makeup. The typical womanly items. To pick a gift for someone is incredibly hard as it is, unless your relative knows you're a beauty blogger and wouldn't mind anything off a beauty counter OR you have an xbox/playstation loving guy in the house!

I don't know what I'll be buying for my mum, but I never go for the typical stuff. My mum isn't a chocolate eater, if so, she'll nick a bit of mine.. but she won't race to the shop to get a bar! Mum's not too keen on perfumes and it's not something she collects..although I do know she loves the Body Shop's 'Musk' perfume - it's her signature scent! - but, I got her that for Christmas..
We also share the large quantity of overloading makeup together anyway, so it'd be pointless in getting her a red lippy or some beauty bits, because we have enough.

BUT, if your really, really, really stuck for ideas - fear not! - I attempted scouring the web to find you all some lovely presents to give to your mum on Mothers Day!

NEXT | Gift Box | £30
I know. It seems very pricey!
I love the thought of this, it's pre-made I know.. but, it's a nice touch. It includes Rose wine, flowers and gift cards. I know you can pick these all up in single items for a tiny less of the price, but I think that because it's quite near the day, to get these delivered would be nice.
http://www.polyvore.com/next_flowers_gift_cards_delivered/thing?id=78322141

Sanctury | Escape & Unwind Collection | £20.50
As you all know, I love Sanctury! I loved the idea of this gift set because it's really worth it and you can even give your mum the 2,500 Boots points to spend on herself after, haha!
This collection seemed quite womanly and mature. Every mum likes to unwind and I think Sanctury products are really good quality and totally worth it. This is definitely something I recommend.
http://www.boots.com/en/Sanctuary-Escape-Unwind-Collection_1189845/

Personalized Heart Trinket Box | buyagift.co.uk
I've never used this website before and I've only just come across it. I love the idea of easily finding a gift that gives you a decent amount of choices. This is a website that I'll definitely use in the future and a website that is SUCH a big help!
I came across a personalized heart trinket box which I suppose isn't a typical kinda gift. It's more personal and more thought has gone into it. I love the idea of this and I suppose if you have any trinkets that have been passed down in the family - maybe from your mums mum - that means a lot, you could pop trinkets in here like jewelerry, photo's etc that mean a lot.. so it's more of a personal keepsake and something she can keep forever. More of a memory. You can check out more gifts for mothers day using this link if you wanted -

Thorntons Personalized Chocolates
This is a great personalized gift! If your mum is a total chocoholic then definitely purchase some! They're personalized so I suppose you could personalize them with 'i love you' or something a bit more different! I personally don't like to buy chocolates for mum because she doesn't like them, but also, because it's not much of a gift.. this is just my own opinion but I think it's something that can't be cherished, remembered and kept.. it's an everyday item!

Perfume
Perfume is the hardest gift. Us bloggers find it HARD to describe a scent, let alone choose one for someone else! I spend about an hour in a perfume section of Boots smelling & testing perfumes WITHOUT buying so picking for someone else would be painful! haha.
Perfume is very personal and something you either hate or love. Finding someone else's signature scent is difficult because they could either love it or hate it. I think  if you got someone's scent wrong, it would go completely downhill.. partly because  perfumes can either be out there, subtle, girly, young, mature, womanly, masculine.. there are all different scents and although a perfume might smell pretty and it says 'Chanel' on the glass bottle, does not mean your mum will like it! If you do want to get her a perfume, maybe ask her what ones she likes.. ask her about her top 5 and then you're not giving the game away. Or maybe, use Boots points.. I know it sounds daft but if you pick her up the Sanctury set for example, you could go perfume shopping with her to let her decide after. Just make sure you pick the right one! Many Jo Malone perfumes are suitable, I think, so you could go with that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope I gave you a small idea of things you could get last minute. Sorry it might have been a bit Cliche but I can't even think of what to get for my mum ahaha!
I hope you and your mum all have a brilliant day together and don't argue as much as me & mine do! Happy mothers day to all!

Lots of love!

Christmas Gift Guide!

Christmas Gift Guide!
Essie Winter Collection |  OPI Skyfall Collection | New Look Cake Stand | Lush Snow Fairy | Lady gaga; Fame | Naked Palette

Hey lovelies

So its that time of the year again! Hot water bottles, rain, snow, frost, ice, Christmas movies, Elf, Presents, Busy streets.. the list is endless but thats what makes Christmas so special! We all complain about doing 'the Christmas shop' but really, on the 25th when we see our loved ones open their presents and receive something that they've been wanting all year or have seen many adverts about, we all do cartwheels and jump for joy inside, because it makes the day special by giving, not just receiving.
The only problem we all sometimes make.. giving someone something that they don't want, or do not have an interest in.. Obviously because this is a Beauty/Food/Lifestyle blog these are beauty gifts, so before these inspire you to go out and spend, spend, spend, make sure that the person receiving these actually has an interest in the products listed!
Later this month I will be doing 'Christmas week' full of Christmassy things, just like I did with Halloween week. I decided to do this early, just because people are shopping quite early this year and I just thought this would be a better time to do it, than a week before Christmas.
So, without further ado, I will sh and get on with it!

Essie Winter Collection | £9.95 | ASOS
I spotted this and thought it was a great gift! Slightly under £10.. just! Which makes it a great gift for a friend or for a stocking filler. It's also a great gift for people that are unsure of what they want or if you're unsure of what shades and brands they like. Personally, I have never tried Essie but, I am trying some soon for Christmas! I didnt put this on my Christmas list *why* but I will do now! I think its just perfect for the people I listed above and think its great for this season; as its Winter!

OPI Skyfall Mini's Collection | £13 | John Lewis
I put OPI on my Christmas list, not these mini's collection but just one of the Skyfall's. I'll be doing a haul & review so dont worry!
I have never tried OPI, I dont think they're sooo overpriced, I just havent managed to purchase one yet. But, I think this is a great gift for the same reasons listed on the gift above. I think the product is great for beauty hoarders and people exactly like myself! It's also a great gift to have, being a collection, and something that is fairly new. The shades are also wintery too! Perfect for Christmas!

Cake Stand | £9.99 | New Look
This is a slightly different present maybe? I have actually asked for this, both as a cake stand for all my pretty decorated after-Christmas cupcakes AND for my makeup storage! Its multi-use and very girly. I'm planning on storing my eyeshadows on this, as all of them are all over my makeup desk untidy. This is an excellent stocking filler for any age, even if you cant find something for Mum and she loves baking, or if you have a neice who bakes or a Sister that keeps makeup in the same way! Its multi-purpose and a pretty thing to have around the house!

Snow Fairy | £3.50 | Lush
Perfect stocking filler! For my 'stocking fillers' I have these wrapped up and put under the Christmas tree, I call them my 'small presents' and I normally get two big presents to open too. I HAVE put this on my list this year, I've never tried it before so I cant comment on the scent but everyone writes great reviews about it, so I'm basing my decision on them! Obviously making sure the female you're buying it for uses bath things and shower gels etc, because if not, it wont be put to good use! It's great for the price and really adds a lovely touch and something nice to open. Its also from the Lush Christmas range and only comes out once a year, so get it while you can!

Lady Gaga; Fame | £49 | Lord & Taylor.com
This is another one that I havent tried but all reviews are good. Obviously check the reviews before buying but really and truthfully; I dont think you need to! It's a celebrity scent which some people are fussy about *personally, I LOVE celeb scents!* and I cant really see why, but people say this isnt like 'A celeb scent' its like a designer scent. The whole 'black perfume' really put me off at first but now I cant wait to try it, although its not on my Christmas list for this year!

Urban Decay; Naked Palette | £36 | Debenhams
Perfect reviews, shades for everyone, Urban Decay. Thats all I need to say! I don't have this palette and was debating whether to spend a whole £36 on it, I do want it but I don't really know whether to actually buy it. We all know its a good palette but I might just get the Undressed palette by MUA first.
This is a perfect gift because all the shades suit everyone. Nudes & Brows are versatile and suitable for any skin or hair color, its all about how strong or light the color is blended/ lip color. The naked palette is perfect for any teens or any adults in the family, just because its something anyone who loves makeup would be happy with opening.

I really hope you enjoyed having a read of my gift guide, I might do 'Gift Guide 2' in a few days time, but I just thought I would do this one as I was having a bit of a scan about on the internet and thought it would be a great idea. I know I havent tried most of them, but I know a good gift when I see one! ;-)
My Blogmas Day 6 will be up in a minute too!

What do you all want for Christmas?
Are any on the list?

September Empties/Faves

 Hiya lovelies!
So this post is quite delayed because my camera was playing up and stuff, thats why my Youtube video hasnt gone up yet. I always seem to be delayed on Youtube with my monthly faves and then I never seem to post my faves/empties on to here.. so its late BUT, I remembered this time!
So in September I didnt really have many faves, and if I did, I've already said them before or they're my empties! So I've combined them together.. I'll start with Empties first;
  • My Elvive 'Smooth Silk' intense shampoo. This is so good, this ran out in like early September, I haven't yet repurchased but I think I might have to, my hairs ruined! This is about £3/£4 in Tesco or Boots.
  • Next empty! This is my everyday deodorant. I dont use any other deodorant, I just pick this one up from Tesco in my weekly shop! It smells lovely, its fresh and not heavy and lasts a long time! ..and its only £1, ha!
  • This is my old cleansing lotion. I didnt have any at the time so I just picked it up from Wilkinsons for £1, but I got bored of it, so I have now bought a new one which I'll post up. Its okay and does cleanse the skin, but its not a cream type lotion, its alcohol.. dont think its very good for the skin?
  • Next is the VO5 'give me moisture' conditioner. This is amazing if you have split ends! AMAZING for the ends of your hair to give moisture! Love love love this, and its good if you straighten your hair, as it doesnt leave residue and leaves it shiny, not greasy looking.
  • Alberto Balsam.. this is the shampoo that smells like coconut.. the smell is lovely, the shampoo isnt.. I washed my makeup brushes with this halfway through the bottle, it just didnt suit my hair.
  • The next one is the crystal elvive conditioner.. love this! Really want to purchase again, and the smell is lovely!
  • I always use these wet wipes, they last about 2/3 weeks and they take my makeup on and off, leave my skin smooth and they make my skin feel fresh, these are just the Tesco ones that you get from the baby isle!
  • The next one is colorseal gloss, this is good for extensions and freshly died hair, I've used the red and brown one, I love them.. great for £1! I'm just wondering if they do a bigger one!
So I hope you liked my empties and hope I added a variety! I'm going to do my small amount of September faves now:-).
  • I've been loving the volume sensation mascara this month! I found this in Poundland a while back *cheeky*. I had this when I was about 10/11 and I love it! I love the wand, its big, it adds volume and its great for bottom and top lashes.
  • I Love the color tattoo from Maybelline's 'studio' range. I think that its great to build up with eyeshadow or wearing it on its own. I'd love to try the other colors, this is the only one I have at the moment, but its such a basic brown where you can do simple or dramatic looks with it.
  • Then, last one, I've been loving the Poundland chubby stick dupe. This is brill for an all day look on the lips, adding a tiny bit of shimmer and a juicy feel. Also, cheeky tip!.. if you get a spare eyebrush, you can actually use it in the same way you use the eye tattoo.. it DOES crease so you will need to use the eyetattoo as a base or use a primer as a base.. or you could use it for a thick eyeliner look.. ive tried, it works! Make sure you use a brush though, because mixing eyes with lips may be a bit unhygenic.
So I hope you enjoyed this big post, I'm glad I remembered to post this as I never normally do! I can now put my things in the bin!
Lots of love..

Lots of love..

What I Bought Today

Close up of the necklace.. so pretty..

It was reduced from £4.. to £2!

..Bought a cheeky flannel! Essentials and all that;-)!

I bought this new Charlie spray, I didnt know they had a new one!

What does it smell like?

Trying a new shampoo too! Garnier Fructis ran out!

Alberto Balsam swatch..

Orange/Satsuma swatch..

I reaaaalllyyy liked the lid of the shower gel!

Nail polish! cant go a day without purchasing!

OhSohoSweet...

Its a lovely nude, I have no shades like this..

Zofias been shopping!

Mmmm.. gorgeous!
So, thats a lot of photos!
I went to Stamford today, which is like 12 minutes away from me and they have a few shops there like Wilko, M&S, Superdrug, Savers, Boots etc so we just walk the dog there for the meadows and I had some money to spend so we walked up to the shops. Its only a small little place - google?! - but I enjoy it more than Peterborough.. where I live.
So ill guide you through what I bought and then later on when I use the things ill review them a little bit more.
  • Start off in the list order. I bought myself a necklace as I dont have many, I have more earrings than necklaces and I thought this was super pretty! Its a bronzy gold color and is on a thin chain. Its got some pretty hearts hanging off an O shape and these are all different patterns. This would go with pretty much everything and for £2 rather than £5 i thought it was a bargain! I got this from Superdrug!
  • I then bought a flannel, this is an essential because I needed a new one, they need changing every now and again! So this was about 33p from Wilko, I dont really mind about the cheap price tag, it does its job haha! I got this in a Fushia pink, its lovely & soft.
  • From Savers, for £1, I got the new Charlie spray, this is in 'Enchant' the bottle design drew me in and I think its really pretty with the pastel blue color. Ive sprayed this a little bit to smell it, but Ill do a separate review on this. Its in its normal bottle ml and says it contains 'honeysuckle, wild apple and coconut'.
  • I then got myself a new shampoo to try out seeing as my Garnier Fructis shampoo has run out, review here-  http://resterbellex.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/okay-so-this-is-bit-of-different-post-i.html - plus, I hate buildup so I love to change. This is Lychee & Coconut. Well, Ill review this in a new post but.. I have no idea what Lychee is, haha. I love coconut at the moment, so I bought this. £1 from Savers.
  • Everytime I go shopping/out I always pick up a nail polish! I have a reasonably large collection so I think a sortout is in order! This is another NYC nail polish, Ive never bothered with them before but I have 3 now and I love NYC! This is in OhSohoSweet and is a very plain nude color that ive been wanting for a while so for £2, you cant complain! Ill also review this soon!
So, I got quite a lot, I wonder if you've tried any of these?
Lots of love..

July Favourites

My July favourites, this months gone super fast!

The No7 primer swatch.

Great for the price..

The first left color..

..second one left - the last one..
Hello! ..again!
So this post is about my July favourites. I recorded this video and re-recorded this video on YouTube earlier in the week, so the video is done but I thought I would add a post to here telling you all my favourites too. I like to add to both.
My July faves consist of things I use in summer or have recently been using.
My summer faves consist of;

  • LA colors palette. This is from Beauty Base in Westfield-Shepards Bush. It was 98p I think, but dont take my word for it.. I got it a while back! As you can see from the swatches, its really pigmented and for near £1 people might look and think 'its cheap, its rubbish' but looking at the swatches, I hope its changed your mind because although its cheap, its still really good. I would use this a lot in the sunny/warm weather because its bronzy shades would really suit the sun and they're very shimmery so its a bonus. It come with an applicator which really pacts on the color. Then, using a blending brush, you could really achieve a nice summery, daytime, smoky look using light/dark bronzes.
  • My next fave is the Cats Eyes Colossal mascara from Maybelline. I love this and love the applicator. As I said on my YouTube video, it really curls the lashes without an eyelash curler (which Ive never used and never plan to). Its lasted a long while, had it since Christmas 2011. I think its great for the summer because it defines eyes and sets fast so its not liquid form when you're out and about. I love the packaging. I use this alot and its always applied on me so I would totally buy again.. I love all Maybelline mascaras. This was about £8.
  • No7 shine free primer is the next one. Im mixed opinioned on this because its good, keeps me matte for like 30 mins and then i get oily, I prefer to use loose powder now, but I might try using loose powder with this as I havent yet. I like this, thats why its in my faves but sometimes it can leave white lines if it not blended enough. This can happen when it dries on the face too. Id only get this again if I got the no7 vouchers, like how I purchased it before. Its good for summer as it should keep most people matt and not oily skinned. Its £11 to buy.
  • Next is Next's Just Pink lipbalm. Ive used half of this since Christmas 2012, an old friend got me it and I really like it. It came with the rollerball Just Pink perfume and it smells lovely. I dont know how much this is and should be in there winter time, unless they stock it all year. Its good to keep lips moist and is a good alternative to heavy lipstick or a thick lipgloss.
  • Ive already reviewed the So...? Brit spray before so, Im not really going to go on about it because its a bit boring to keep repeating. But, I love this because its good for out-and-about to keep fresh. Its also really fresh&fruity and i would buy it again! £1 from Boots, Tesco etc.
  • Garnier Fructis shampoo..mm! This is great. I got this a few weeks back and use it for every wash. It keeps my hair going until it gets oily (which is really fast, every other day) and it smells a bit plain..like apples.. but its really good and keeps hair shiny so Im not moaning about the smell! It didnt make my hair glossy or anything but it did make straightening easy, seeing as this takes a while.. Id probably buy this again, after a few weeks. (I dont like buildup!)
  • Last one.. best till last! I love this! If I didnt like saving things and keeping things for ages, this would be gone within 2 weeks! Its amazing, the smells amazing, the consistency is amazing.. just.. amazing! Beauty Base is where I got it, I think it was 98p and I said this on Youtube but looking back, I think it was £1.75.. I really cant remember. But, under running water it foams up so fast and you can smell it really well too. Its good as a shower gel or just to apply to skin in the bath. You can smell it afterwards on your skin too, I just LOVE the coconut smell of it! Definately going to buy this again. (Daaaaaad! *angel face*)
So yeah, they're my July favourites and I cant believe how fast this year is going. Only seems like last month it was snowing and I was getting the Christmas tree ready! I feel so old haha!
What things did you like in July?! Post below if you like, id love to know!
Lots of love..
