NOTW | 17 Magnetize Nail Polish

Another week, another NOTW post!
I really enjoy doing these posts and showing you all what nail polishes I've been using recently and which ones I wouldn't buy again..this is a buy again!

I love all the effect nail polishes.. crackle, glitter, fur, magnet etc.. the list is endless. Even Chanel do a leather effect! Over the past two years, I think effect type nails have been popular a lot more. I remember getting a crackle nail polish back in 2011 and never really used it.. so I thought this would be another novelty product I'd get for Christmas and it'd be stuck at the back of my shelf going gloopy.

This is the first time I've tried a magnet effect nail polish and the thought of it seemed really good and worth a try. Back in December I had a voucher in my Boots magazine for half price or some sort of money off on 17 Magnetize Nail Polishes. I asked mum to pick it up and give me it for Christmas. I didn't actually mind what color I had, although I know that they do a green and blue and silver shade. My shade is green.

I didn't quite understand how to apply it first, so it took me a few thumb attempts to get it.. it's really simple but I'm a bit silly, ha!
To apply, you apply the nail polish and while it's wet, remove the top of the nail polish (picture 1) and push the magnet onto your nail. This is the part that made me feel a bit weird because the thought of a magnet on my nail was a bit strange but after I applied it to one finger, the rest were simple and I was ok with it.

The only bit I didn't like was how some of the nail polish on the tip of my fingernail slightly stuck to the magnet and a little bit (only the slightest bit!) got taken off my nail, so I slightly filled it in with the brush.

I also want to apologize for the state of my fingers in these pictures, I'm forever having bad skin around my nails!
Overall, I would buy magnet effect nail polishes often if I had some spare money or had some points on my card - definitely worth it and the effect was pretty impressive!

If you've tried any of these, what do you think of them?
Worth it or not?

50 Random Facts About Me | Tag

A happy Friday eve everyone! Ah, nearly the weekend to all of you who have had a stressful school or week work..
I was just scrolling about on my blogger reading list and half of this weeks blog posts were all about the '50 random facts about me tag'. After reading maaaany posts on it, I've decided to do it! I haven't written any facts about me, I haven't thought of any facts either so this might take up the rest of my night, which is a bonus, I'm terribly bored!
Also, feel free to comment below or create this post of your own and leave me a link, I love reading these and I'm always interested in the latest fact or other and getting to know people, so go ahead!

1. I absolutely love London. I plan to move there one day and no matter what, I'll try my best to live there! Many people might not understand the obsession, my parents certainly don't! But I love London so much and anything London related - I could natter on for hours!

2. Recently, I've been a bit of a 'homeware' freak..shame we don't have IKEA in Peterborough because I could seriously walk round there for hours seeing as I'm always on their website.

3. I always wanted to be many things when I was younger. Interior Designer was first on the list and then I faced reality - I'm rubbish at Maths! I also wanted to be a hairdresser for a while, then I realized I'd get fed up and bored.. why is that? When we're younger we always want to be all sorts and never face reality haha!

4. I love quotes. I don't necessarily 'live by' quotes, but I do copy down and find pictures of my favorite quotes to suit the situation I'm in.

5. Sometimes, I wonder what things would be like if certain things didn't happen. I think we all do, but I hate regretting things. I just always think of certain situations that have happened and think 'wonder if I didn't do that'.

6. I always look forward to moving out, moving away, getting my own home, decorating.. then I realize that things arn't that simple!

7. I'm pretty independent. I'm an only child so I suppose that's why. I do like people helping out and trying there best for me, but I do like doing things by myself. I think I get things done better and easier and then I get what I want.. that sounds a bit diva-ish..oops! Didn't mean it like that, I mean I get things done to how I want them done. Then if things turn out pearshaped.. I know how I can better myself.

8. I have a slight sense of Agoraphobia. I sometimes hate the thought of crowds, going out etc. I panic quite a bit and hate waiting around for something to happen in public because I get a bit worried. I think recently though, it's gradually going away.

9. I'm a bit of a loner. I don't have friends because being by myself is what I've always loved. You don't have to fit in, you don't have to make others happy, you don't have to explain yourself, you can just be you.. I know many people need and want friends and their friends make them happy, but, in life I've only had two bestfriends and that turned out to be a drama, lets put it that way!

10. I want to be a makeup artist so bad. Recently, I've been begging mum to go on a makeup course later this year instead of college. I'd love to put all my effort and all my hardwork into a job I love. I don't want to be a loser forever and doing a job I love would be the ultimate achievement. I know that things arn't as simple as that and I know having a good job isn't straightforward but doing something you love with complications is much more better than doing something you hate without effort.

11. I love writing. I'm homeschooled, so when I actually bother doing my schoolwork, I always write pages and pages and pages and could do it for 12 hours a day. That's probably why I ramble on and on because I love explaining things and writing/typing a lot.

12. I'm enjoying doing this post. I feel as it's letting you lot know a lot more about me and it's entertaining, haha!

13. Confidence - 0. I've had to go to 2 job interviews this month (end of Jan and yesterday) for the same job and o m g I was so unconfident and I seriously felt like crying.. I hate when the pressure is on and I have to chat to someone I don't know. I'm not the most confident person, only when it comes to things I love and know and I can explain myself, but when it comes to things I'm not used to I have no chance.

14. I wish I was at school. Who actually says that?! But, when you're actually at home 24/7 and do leave school, there is 50% of you that wishes you were still at school. I'm in year 11 and so this year was meant to be pretty good, but hay ho..things change!

15. I cry at the fact I will never have a prom. It's a little bit pathetic I suppose but every little girl wants a nice dress on the last few days of school. Imagine having a rubbish wedding? It's a little like that I suppose. I planned my prom dress and I still have a look online at my fave prom dresses and things, but I have to understand that I won't have that and so I should just get over it and move on.

16. I don't follow a certain 'fashion trend'. If I walk into a shop and see something I like, i'll buy it. Ofcourse, most things in shops are a certain trend of the season, but if I like a certain top I'll just buy it no matter what.

17. I love photography. I never really did but I suppose when I joined Tumblr, that side of me appeared.

18. Up to the age of 11, I never wore girly clothing. Never wore makeup and certainly wasn't into beauty. Secondary school changed that I suppose, and I'm happy I started wearing makeup at 11 because I wasn't that young.

19. At the moment, I'm healthy eating. I'm doing quite well and this year, if I slim down, I'm going to treat myself to a bralet to go with my dip hem skirt! Haha, that's what I'm working towards, I really want one but I'm so weight conscious that I would'nt wear one. I've finally decided that I ate waaay too many Pot Noodles, crisps and cakes that it's time to stop. I still have a few crisps and small cupcakes, but I won't have 5 a day. I understand when to stop. I've only been doing it nearly 4 weeks, but I think i'll do better than I did last February!

20. Josie Gibson's new body is my thinspiration. I watched her on Big Brother a few years back and now shes slim I want to be like that. I don't need to lose as much, but I do want to get to 8 1/2 stone. I'm 4'11 so I don't want things to get worse. Josie's new body looks amazing and her dresses look gorgeous on her now and so I feel that if she can drop 10 stone.. I can!

21. Lindt chocolate is the best chocolate. I've just been munching on a Lindt reindeer from Christmas *oops* and mm, lovely. I'm more of a sweets person than a chocolate one, though.

22. Don't know anymore facts..

23. The volunteering job I recently applied for and went for an interview at.. I hope I don't get. Sounds crazy but I don't feel like I'd fit in and I don't feel like the interviewer liked me.

24. I've now become worried at getting a job. At first, when I turned 16, I was really excited but now the thought of getting a job worries me because I don't want it to feel like the schooldays again. The days of not wanting to get up and the days of not wanting to go to work. Noone should ever feel like that.

25. I love planning things out. I love routines. I love lists. I love writing down what i'm going to do. I love being organised.

26. Following on from the last one - at the moment, I have weeks and weeks of meals scheduled. I'm a lover of schedules and I've planned out my breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the next 3 weeks or so. I love doing things like that and I love going by a routine.

27. I'm glad I started a blog. When I started being homeschooled, I was okay with everything. I started to get bored so I'm so happy that now I have a hobby and have something to put my effort and passion of beauty in to.

28. I've just applied Champney's hand lotion and got into bed, mm.

29. I lovelovelove people with banter. I'm a little sarcastic and sometimes in a conversation I can seem a bit uninterested and might start being sarcastic.. this isn't nasty, this is my way of showing you I'm interested..it's just the way I am.

30. I don't take things too seriously. I'm serious when things need to be and I worry if things don't go right.. but bad things don't last forever, just like good things don't.

31. I've never watched a whole movie. Probably when I was younger I did once or twice but I've never actually watched a whole, full movie. I've only been to the cinema once. I hate movies and never will watch a movie unless it's really interesting.. tell a lie - I have seen Confessions of a Shopaholic. I like them type films but overall, I don't like them.

32. I'm not sporty. Atall. I used to skive my PE lessons or write notes. Hatehatehate.

33. Talking of sports and excersize, I want to start the 30 day shred. I've been wanting to since the start of Feb but 0 motivation.

34. I love the Sims 2.

35. I love TOWIE & MIC. Loads! I'm so happy that Maria Fowler only lives up the road too haha, random fact for you there!

36. Katie Price is my idol..Many people disagree and frown at this but she is. Everything she has achieved and everything that she's done in life, she's made something out of herself. No matter how many people put her down and call her things, she gets back up out of it and does something she enjoys..

37. Tulisa is also my idol. I've loved her ever since the NDubz days and as a solo artist. I think she's a really strong person and has been through so much.

38. I want to go Ice Skating SO bad!

39. I love watching DOI and wishing I could go skating. I think I'd be alright!

40. I love animals so much. Any sight of animal cruelty on the telly and I instantly cry. My dog Zack is my everything and seeing him grow up and seeing him being born was one of the most amazing things ever and anything bad happening to him makes me sososo sad. He's my baby!

41. I'd love to have children one day. Atleast 3 - Faith, Hope & Grace.. but I hate the thought of childbirth and needles. boo.

42. As I mentioned earlier, I love writing. I write so much that on my middle finger, on the outside of the finger, just on the bit before the knuckle, I have a permanent lump. It sticks out and makes me look like I have a fat finger.. just because I write so much it's left a bit from the pen!

43. London accents are just the best. If you have a London accent, I'll love you forever. Lets just get married..

44. I keep a diary. I love it. I like to write down day by day my events. Then, when I'm old and wrinkly I can look back and see how much I moaned! I also keep a 2013 jar with events and memories of 2013. Cheers Tumblr!

45. I love cooking. I love baking. I love writing out recipes etc. Also, this weekend, me & mum & dad are doing a Come Dine With Me thing during 3 nights.. I'm totally making red velvet cake!

46. I've planned my wedding. I seriously can't wait. I've planned everything from the dress to the entertainment. Ofcourse I want a massive dress with diamonds and Swarovski crystals on with a horse and cart.. but hey, we have to find the unlucky soul yet;)!

47. I love having a rant. Can't beat getting things said and done with.

48. Might sound reaaallyyy strange now.. but, I love having a bit of an online stalk. With certain people I'll check their Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook.. I don't have an idea why but I suppose I'm a little bit strange..

49. I don't like melted cheese on its on on something like..bread.. but I love it with other things like tomatoes. I just hate melted cheese by itself.

50. I hope that one day, everything works out fine. I hope that everyone ends up happy and all the worrying and panicking stops. I think that everyone deserves to be happy and no matter what you do in life, people will never agree. People will never be happy with the decisions you make and they will never be happy with the path you take in life. This may not seem like a fact, but it is.. it's a fact because truth of the matter is - doing what makes you happy is the reality of everything.

I hope this wasn't too boring and I thank you for taking the time out to scan through or actually read these! I hope you know me sliiiightly better than you did before and I'm sorry if these were a little off topic. Do you agree with the same or am I the weird one?! Haha, lots of love! x

February Wishlist | 2013

February Wishlist
NEXT Sandals | Barry M Touch Of Magic Lippaint | ELF HD Blush | Rimmel Cocktail Color | Dior Airflash Foundation | MUA Cover&Conceal

A whole month ago I started the Monthly Wishlists and woah, it's gone slow..
February is going quite slow too and although I didn't manage to get anything off last months wishlist, I hope to get a few things off this months.
(I'll still purchase things off January's wishlist though, ha!)

NEXT Jeweled Sandals | NEXT.co.uk | £23.
Summer (hopefully) is on it's way, although we had snow two weeks ago and there are still clouds in the sky. This year I plan to build up a shoe collection and have already started to buy summer sandals. I saw a pair in the New Look sale that were exactly like these for about £5, but I didn't like the fact they were pink. I'm a lover of nude shoes/sandals and these really caught my fancy! I love the jeweled parts and think they suit the nude color. They look like they'd go with everything and anything and would be good for everyday wear.

Barry M Touch Of Magic Lippaint | Barry M/Boots | £4.49
How late am I on this.. I've been wanting this for years and have been trying to get it for ages, everytime I'm in Boots I do a swatch and see what shade it turns out like! I think it's a great idea and I WILL get this in February!

ELF HD Blush | ELF.co.uk | £3.75
I've been wanting to do a big shop on ELF.co.uk for ages and I'm always checking out their website for new products and bargain items. I really liked the look of the shade and the packaging for this and for nearly £4.. it's worth a try. They only do pink shades and really, that's what I'm looking for. I'm not really a 'Blush Collector' and it's not something I have the most of, but, a cream blush is what I want to start using and this looks like a good product.
'Rich and creamy HD Blush naturally sculpts and highlights the cheekbones for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use.'

Rimmel Cocktail Color | Rimmel/Boots | £3.99
These are a novelty item. In swatches, these are basically shimmery nail polishes available in red, orange and purple. I liked the shades and Rimmel nail polishes always turn out good and stay on the nails well. I'm keen on the red shade because I need more reds, and I like the shimmery effects. These are quite new and have only gone into Boots stores recently.

Doir Airflash | Dior | £30
Ah. I love this.
The other day I had to pop into Boots to pick up a Dior BB creme sample - I got more than I bargained for! I managed to pick up a sample of this and the BB creme.. thankyou to the lady at the Dior counter in Boots for that!
I never really like going to beauty counters, especially for samples because they're a little standoff-ish when you ask for samples and you're not actually making a purchase, but this lady, at first, seemed like that and me&mum didn't know what to say haha, after we mentioned the sample she seemed really lovely and sat mum in the chair to get swatched. She mentioned that the BB creme wasn't high coverage and that she would still give us the sample but she wanted to try the Dior airflash on her and see how it turned out. It's a spray on foundation (to put it in the easy terms) and then you blend with a brush. At first i thought it was a bit OTT but once blended the coverage was brilliant and I really liked it. I probably won't manage to buy this (especially because of the price tag) but it's really a great foundation.

MUA Cover&Conceal Concealer | MUAstore.co.uk or Superdrug | £1.50
Recently, I've been wanting to try a few concealers, especially drugstore ones, and when MUA posted this on their Facebook page, I wanted to try it. I'm still yet to buy the Collection 2000 one and still to buy the Natural Collection one, but I want to try this aswell because it's slightly cheaper and MUA never disappoint!

I hope you all enjoyed this slightly long wishlist post and I hope I didn't bore you all! I feel like this was needed because I haven't blogged in a while and like I keep saying, I promise to do more posts but I just don't know what you lot want to see so comment below and I'll try!

What do you have your eye on this February?

January Favorites | 2013

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages. Partly because there's not much going on at the moment and because most things I need to say have been on Youtube and cannot be made into posts - purely because they're makeup looks! I promise to blog more, but sometimes it's hard if there isn't anything.

As you all know *obvs* February says hello tomorrow and what a boring month it's been. I always find January to be a dull month, just because Christmas has gone and just because there isn't anything going on. Although this month for me, there was! I finally got myself a non paying job.. just for the experience and meeting people.

Anyway, less of the rambling and more of the favorites! Most of these are Christmas items and just small random bits. I haven't used much of my Christmas items, just because I like to save things - ha!

Sam Faires | TOWIE And Me | WHSmith | £8.96
I really enjoyed reading this. As a big fan of TOWIE and all the TOWIE cast, I wanted this as soon as it came out and I finally got it for Christmas. Many people have said it's not good and many bad reviews have come up on the internet but I find it a good read and enjoyed reading it. Most parts were about her beauty regime and pre TOWIE. She then went on to talk about some previous TOWIE cast, like Amy Childs.

Tea Tree And Mint Shower Gel | Superdrug | 86p
I absolutely love love love the smell of tea tree. Tea tree and mint goes well and I really love how fresh it is. I got this as a stocking filler and it's great for everyday use.

W7 Lashtastic Mascara | Savers
I didnt buy this, so I don't know the price. The packaging is a lot chunkier than Maybelline type mascaras, but looks a lot like them. I love the wand. As you can see in the photo its very chunky and coats everylash. It has a lot of bristles and it creates a non clump lash.

Pauls Nails | Pauls Boutique/BANK | Gold
This was my first nail polish of the year. I love the color and I love how it applies. I done a NOTW on this, if you want to check it out!

Body Shop | Born Lippy Lipbalm
I love this, I also reviewed this so check it out if you like!

Hope you all enjoyed this post and I promise to blog a bit more. What have you been loving this month?

NOTW | Glitter, Lilac, Gold

I absolutely love lilac nails. Barry M's lilac shade is my ultimate favorite and don't think another would compare. I recently saw a post of someone using the gold glitter from Barry M which I think is quite new and wanted to purchase it myself. While I was in Savers I saw a gold glitter that looked exactly the same and it was only £1. The Barry M one was a small price of £2.99 but hey, I got a bargain!

I love thick particles of glitter as much as I love the small particles but I DON'T like the removal! So so so annoying, but worth it.
I think this lilac shade suits the gold really well and it suits the large particles well too. I love the gold glitter because you can build it up to be quite thick *which is a pain to get off* or you can apply it on bare nails just to do a light cover with no base.

Do you like gold/lilac?
Have you been wearing glitter lately?

The Beauty Blogger Tag

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
Straight. I like it being straight, I never have the patience to straighten it half the time so I'm glad I don't have curly hair or It'd be such an effort!

2. What is your natural hair color?
My hair is naturally brunette. But I died it red a few times so it has a slight tint of red.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I dyed it myself. I wouldn't die my hair again.

4. How often do you wash your hair?
I wash my hair everyday. I used to wash it every other day but now it just gets really greasy quickly. Plus I don't really like dry shampoo.

5. Do you wear the same hair style everyday, or do you change it?
Most of the time I have it straight or some days I wash it and keep it wet in the house. I occasionally have it part curly/straight.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I paint my own nails.

7. How often do you change your nail polish?
Once a week!

8. Do you polish your toes just in the summer, or in the winter too?
I'm really lazy when it comes to painting my toe nails. I mainly just paint them in the summer but if I know my toes might be on show in the winter I'll paint them. Or if I'm bored sometimes I'll paint them.

9. How long does it take you to put your make up on?
Round about... 30 mins/ 45 mins. Or a on a quick day, 15 minutes.

Face! I'm used to doing it that way and can't do my eyes then face..

11. Do you 'collect' make up or just buy what you need?
I do have a slight collection and buy a lot when I don't need it and I tend to rarely use it, which is really quite bad. But I have got better recently and now only buy what I need really.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?

14. Do you wear make up when you're home alone or with family?
I wear makeup everyday. Some days I'll have a lazy day. So yeah, I live with my family..

15. Will you leave the house without make up on?
I don't. Because of the dark nights I've walked the dog at around 5pm with wet, messy hair and no makeup but I do feel uncomfortable and I feel better with makeup.

16. How many high-end products do you have?
I'm not obsessed with high-end make up products, I'm not bothered as long as the product works well, it's fine. I own a few MAC bits..that's it.

17. How often do you wash your make up brushes?
Okay, I am not going to lie, I am extremely lazy when it comes to washing make up brushes. I rarely wash them..every 3 weeks?

If I'm going to London, night or a few nights before. But if I'm doing my normal routine, I just get up and pick something random.

I don't need/use a bag! I sometimes use my small, everyday, nude, chained bag.

20. What time do you get up and go to sleep?
I sleep at silly times like 4/5/6 am most days and wake around 12/1/2.. hate it! Some times I sleep at 12/1 then wake at around 8 which I prefer.

Oooo..hard one.. Brights not darks! I can't pick a color ha ha.

29. What made you start blogging?

30. How do you get ideas for blog posts?
Blogs, magazines, shops, tv, etc. Pretty much everywhere and anywhere. Other people's blogs mainly make me think of an idea. I think it's easy though..

Lots of love..

Soap & Glory | Best and Worst..

Yesterday, I posted up a video on my Soap & Glory; Best and Worst. I remember seeing someone on Youtube do this and I thought it's a great idea, seeing as I'm a small lover of Soap&Glory. I don't have a huge collection, but what I do have - I'm grateful for! My set came in the £60 box set back in 2010 and ever since then, I've loved S&G.
Some products arn't to my fancy but I still use them anyway. I'm one of these people that can't leave anything unused, I have to use it up! I never really get skin allergies so I always use products up and if I don't like them I won't buy them again.
I haven't got round to trying S&G cosmetics, I hope to soon but for now I'm a fan of the Bath&Body things. I absolutely LOVE the soap&glory smell! It's SO difficult to explain but I love it and I'm sure other people would totally agree.
I'm going to guide you through my S&G collection and tell you the things I love and not so love.

Heel Genius | Boots | £5.50

I love this! This makes my feet so smooth and soft and supple.. mm! The smell is slightly different to the other products, it's hard to explain! It's a fresh smell, not a fruity smell.. It lasts ages and you can use it really sparingly because its such a thick lotion. I'd definitely repurchase! This product is a best.

Hand Food | Boots | £5.00
This is one of my favorite S&G items but I don't use it as often. I'm not really a 'hand cream' sort of girl but I do have quite a collection that I need to use now. This was my first hand cream/moisturizer and I was impressed. I never really liked putting hand creams on just because of the stickiness they had and the time they took to dry. This one sinks in so well and the smell is gorgeous. A definite repurchase.

The righteous Butter | Boots | £10.50
I love this! It's smooth, fragrant and moisturizing! Its over the £10 mark but totally worth it. Mine has lasted me AGES and I need to use it up! Its so rich and lovely and mm.. totally re purchasable and if you're stuck for choice over a moisturizer, pick this one!

~

Scrub your nose in it | Boots | £7.50
I don't use this a lot. I am at the moment just so I can use it up and carry on with my Elemis facial scrub. It gives me a few spots and redness on my cheeks so I try and avoid this. Obviously, this came in a set so I had no choice on buying or not but I wouldn't repurchase just because it doesn't suit me - this doesn't mean it wont suit you! The smell is very fresh and minty and this is one thing I like about it. I also like that it's a thick paste type scrub, nothing like the small grained Elemis one.

Girligo | Boots | £6.50
Since doing this post, I've used this a bit more. I saw on someones blog the idea they use this for and I really like it. I have used it as it's meant to be used and it's a good product. Someone mentioned how they spray their bedsheets and pillows with this.. tried it! Love it! The smell of S&G is lovely so I liked doing this. Although, I wouldn't repurchase.

Breakfast Scrub | Boots | £9.50

This is a lovely smelling product but I don't have a use for it! I'm not a scrub type of girl really so I just don't use this but I can see why people like it - I just don't use it.

Flake Away | Boots | £7.00
The same reason as above! I'm not a scrub type of girl, but it's an okay product!

I hope this post was a tiny bit helpful for any S&G products you want to try or if you're building up a collection. I think these were the first few S&G products as they were bought 2 years ago!! I want to try so many S&G products as I still haven't tried the cosmetics and I've heard brilliant reviews.
Hope you've all had a brilliant weekend and be careful in the snow!

Lots of love,

Zx

NOTW | Pauls Nails

Pauls Nails | £15.99 | Bank.com or BANK stores

Hello everyone! This is my first NOTW post in January so ofcourse, I'm using a nail polish that I acquired for Christmas! This week, I'm using Pauls Nails. If you all don't know, yes, it's Pauls Boutique. I know everyone isn't highly keen on Pauls Boutique and I'm not a major fan. I don't necessarily get Fashion items from there, although I am keen on the bags. I don't like the coats as so much - I'd never buy one! But hey, each to their own!

I got this set for Christmas; it includes a set of 3 'Pauls Nails'. I'm really keen on the set and the colors are all really nice. Purple, Gold and Pink. This is one that took my fancy and I really like the light shimmery shade. I don't have many shimmery nail polishes so this is one that I really wanted to try first.

This is such a subtle  gold, shimmery shade that applies really smooth to the nails. I was surprised that it set so quickly and dried within 3-4 minutes. It's not a very thick polish which I quite like because it's not heavy and doesn't make me realize I have nail polish on which is a bonus, because I normally peel it off by 2 days which drives me mad! It hasn't really chipped which is obviously the biggest bonus! I also really like the brush - I have short nails (as you can tell) and I really detest when a lovely nail polish has a long brush that makes my skin painted instead of my nails!
All in all, I think this is a brilliant polish and such a bargain at £15 for three nail polishes. I think the nail polish bottle is really simple and not tacky looking and I would definitely repurchase!

Lots of love,

Ristotto is one of my favorite meals. I absolutely love the taste of the rice, too!

What You Need | Ingredients
Half a cup - Risotto rice. You can use normal rice if you have nothing else!
2 Mushrooms
Half an onion
A slice of pepper
Mixed Herbs
Vegetable stock cube
Garlic

How to Cook | Method
Not only is this recipe so tasty, but it's easy!
First, chop all of your vegetables up and while doing so, heat some olive oil in a frying pan. Add all your vegetables when the oil gets hot enough. Let these go really soft and then add the garlic. When the garlic goes golden, add the stock cube; I use OXO vegetable stock and add enough water to my liking. On the back they give guidelines if you want to use these, but you can just add water to your liking to get the taste you want. I never add a lot of water because it masks the taste. Then add that into the frying pan and let your vegetables simmer into the stock. When you see the stock simmer (bubbling gently) add your rice and stir. Stir in the rice so it absorbs the stock. Add the amount of rice you need for the amount you're serving for. Then when the rice still has the crunch but has simmered for 15/20 minutes and has absorbed the stock - it's ready to eat!

Ideal Nail Polishes For Winter!

NYC - Oh-Soho-Sweet | Ciate - Wait Until Dark | Rimmel - Passion | MUA shade 16 | LA Colors | LA Color - Energy Source | KIKO | Barry - Mushroom | NO7 | Rimmel - Blackout | Barry M - Vivid Purple | A gift set nail polish | MUA |

I'm really into nail polishes at the moment. I have quite a collection of brands and miscellaneous nail polishes, blues to reds, greens to pinks.. but I'm really not a lover of deep dark shades - I like them but I just prefer bright, out there shades.
A while back I swatched some wintery shades on a nail wheel for you all, just to show you what nail polishes I would wear if I liked dark shades!

Most of these you've all heard before and so I'm sorry but like I say I don't really collect dark shades and this was photo'd quite a while back so I have gained a few dark un's since!
Most of these shades are the same but also affordable.

My favorite shade from this collection has to be NYC high line green or Rimmel's passion. Some of the nail polishes haven't been swatched so bear with me!
I love Passion because I'm a lover of Matte red shades but don't have enough of them! As for high line green .. I love this! I loved this ever since I bought it and it's actually the only deep green I have in my collection! I think it's a winter shade because its dark but still a fun shade.. I also think it stays on the nails for a good amount of time and the price is also a bonus!

In winter, I do prefer Matte shades. I personally think that shimmery shades are more autumn/summer colors, but whatever takes your fancy! As I've always said, I never really follow seasons or trends in certain things, I just go with whatever!
Another shade that I think is perfect for Winter is the deep red N07 shade. I'm fussy with no7 and everyone knows this! I love the shade and think vampy colors are great for this season.
An easy way to keep up with the season - Use vampy, deep shades for the perfect look.

Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it helped you out a little!
