June Faves

LA COLOURS EYE PENCIL IN SEASHELLS
KATE MOSS LIPSTICK 101
NYC EYESHADOW BAZAAR
MISS SPORTY FABULOUS LASH
NYC EYESHADOW - LATE NIGHT LATTE

Hello again, girls!
June faves time, I've tried quite a lot of new products this month so I'll share my most used/most loved with you!

Kate Moss Lipstick | Rimmel | 101
I love this shade. It's really me. It's a girly, pretty pink and applies beautifully. I really like the fact it's meant to be a matte shade but it's not quite matte, it applies smoothly and stays on long but without the dryness. I've said quite a lot before that I want to purchase some of the other shades, so I'm going to definitely do it!

LA Colours Eyeliner | Seashells
I love this! I apply this in my waterline, all over my lid as a base and I apply it in my innter corners. I really love the smoothness of this and how it doesn't pull on my eyes. I really like the fact it's a multipurpose product and I even repurchased more - I love them!

NYC Eyeshadow | Bazaar
I've loved using this in my crease and my outer corners. I even use it as an eyeliner for a smoky, non harsh look and it looks really pretty. It's just a basic dark brown and has no fall out which is an added bonus. It was only £1 with the nail polish, so I can't go wrong!

Miss Sporty Mascara | Fabulous Lash
I've enjoyed using this. I love the wand. I like how it's not clumpy and the only con is that it's not waterproof - but that doesn't matter! It's a really basic mascara and for it's price, it hasn't gone dry yet!

NYC Polish | Late Night Latte
This is a more bronzey shade of 'Oh Soho Sweet'. It's a nude but not a milky nude. It chipped quite a bit but I do like the shade and NYC polishes, So I can't complain!

What have been your loves in June?

June Empties

Hello everyone. I feel like I haven't done an empties post in ages...
I don't have many good products this month but I have a few that I can give an opinion about so I hope you enjoy.

Tesco Cleanser
When I saw this, I realised how inexpensive it was. I'm not really a skincare lover so I don't spend pounds a week on things to cleanse with. I decided to get this 'cause it's pretty cheap and it actually worked. I really liked using it. It's good if you have sensitive skin and was good before makeup application so I liked it! Definately repurchase.

Sanctury Bath Float
Loved using this! I really did.
I love the scent and I love the small bubbles it made in the bath. Nothing really to say about this product, but I liked it.

Wash and Go shampoo.
This used to work wonders on my hair. After this bottle, I've started to dislike it.
I feel like it's made my hair create build up and it lathers too much for my liking. I really liked it in the past so that's why I repurchase but now, it doesn't agree with my hair.

Breakfast Scrub Exfoliater
I like this, now. I never used to and I always used to complain about it - but now I've warmed to it. I love the smell, I always have - now I love how the grains make my skin silky smooth.

Max Factor Foundation Sample
I need the full size! I loved using what I could of this and the shade was right for me. I love how smooth the foundation is and how alike to 'Satin finish (maybelline)' it is. I really liked how easy to blend it was. I'll try and get full size!

Do you have any of these products?

Things I'd Repurchase

Hello everyone, I'm back!
You probably haven't noticed, but, I've not actually been on the internet for 3 weeks. Some blog posts and YT videos were scheduled, luckily, but I still have some catching up to do! This post didn't manage to go up, so here goes!

XXL Volume Sensation Mascara | Maybelline
I'd repurchase just because I love the wand and I love how it applies. This is the second time I've bought it and I reach for it most days. It's a pretty old mascara, but I love it. I love the wand because it's thick and very big but it doesn't clump my lashes. It's a good, quality mascara and I love it!

Rimmel Lipsticks
I feel like Rimmel lipsticks are many people's faves. They're only around £4 and they have the hugest range of colours. I never complain with Rimmel lipsticks and there's always a shade on my wishlist. I love them!

Barry M Nail Polishes
As you and I both know, Barry M nail polishes are on many people's shelves. I love them, I'm sure you love them..every beauty lover does! I'd always repurchase a nail polish if I have spare money and Barry M always gets thought of when I need a pick me up!

MAC lipsticks
I so need to purchase more. I always catch myself on the website and I always bang on about how I want to try more shades, so I need to! *Zofia's in London on Saturday, by the way...;-)*

OPI polishes
Same with MAC. I always notice shades I want but never bother to make a purchase. I really like them and have blogged about them before, so I will get more shades, for sure!

Colour Tattoo's | Maybelline
Bloomin' love these. I love them because they're multipurpose and I love the shade I have. I want to purchase the grey one!

Dream Satin Liquid Foundation | Maybelline
I remember a few years back when I actually bought this, I decided to get properly into foundation. I loved using this and I really need to get it again. This shade suited my skin perfectly and I always looked really glowy and healthy. It was very good for my oily skin and it blended beautifully.

Chit Chat Bronzer
It's multipurpose! I've used this as an eyeshadow many times before and I love it. It's a pretty bronzer and works for me.

120 Pro Palette | Not MAC!
I bought this off eBay ages ago and I love it. Obviously, the shade range is brill and i've been using it more often, recently.

Natural Collection Loose Powder
Mentioned this before, I love it. I use it everyday and it keeps me perfectly matte! I HAVE to repurchase or I'd be stuffed!

Mango Soap | The Body Shop
I'm using this everyday at the minute and it's so lovely. It doesn't have a strong fragrance and I feel like if you have sensitive skin, these soaps are brilliant. I love them and they're the only soaps I'll use.

Match Perfection Foundation | Rimmel
Using this at the moment and I love it. I like the way it leaves my skin and I really want to repurchase!

Supersoft Detangle Spray
I love this and I love how easy it works! It doesn't leave my hair sticky like most sprays, either!

I hope you enjoyed this post, there may be more to come that I need to catch up on, but I'm not sure yet! Hope you had a brilliant weekend and I hope you've had a good day. Lots of love, Zofia x

Stila Lip Glaze Review

(L-R)
Black cherry, Sugar plum, jack frost, splendor, jolly, holly, joy, jingle.

Hello beautifuls, I'm here to brighten up your Monday evening! I hope you've all had a brilliant day!
| First Impressions |

I've decided to do a review on a Stila set I received mooooonths ago. I got them for Christmas and to be quite honest, I've only used them the odd few times! Up until I decided to do this post I didn't bother using them and they've been put away in an appropriate drawer, unused. So, I decided to use them and when I managed to get a good idea about them and decide on an opinion, I thought I'd do this post to let you all know!
Before I saw these in a Boots catalogue last year, I was never interested in 'Stila' the only time the brand has caught my eye is when someone mentioned that they had a few odd bits in Poundland - which I never saw.. but until these beauties caught my eye, I never wanted any of their items and I didn't know of the brand!
So I saw the pretty colours and popped them on my Christmas list. I thought £15 was a bit steep but considering the amount of lipglosses in the set I thought it was a good bargain. I really liked the Christmassy theme aswell - have you noticed the shade names!?
When I finally unwrapped them at Christmas I was pretty pleased. They came in a card textured box with a see through window on the front - this gave me easy access to see the shades and the lipglosses before purchasing if I needed to which was good!

| What Do I Think Of The Actual Lipglosses? |

These lipglosses are ones that 'wind up'. You twist the bottom and product comes out the lipbrush at the top. I really like the fact they're like this because they're good for on the go. I never go without a lipbrush now a days so I like these lipglosses because they're 2 in 1! I like the shade range because they're pinks/purples with the odd sheer colour and the odd shimmer put in but the shades impressed me!
To be truthful, glaze is the word to sum these up. They're not powerful colours so if you're the type of person that wears Ruby Woo or Viva Glam Nicki every moment of the day, you might not like these just because you don't get much colour out of them and they're not so pigmented. They simply glaze your lips and add a sheer colour to them. I think the brightest one is Black cherry.
I think the question with lipgloss always has to be 'are they sticky?' yes. Yes, these are! I seriously don't mind with these! I feel like they're thick so they don't glide on the lips and add a sticky texture, I feel like these are like a lipstain with a liquidy feel? It's so difficult to explain but I don't think these are 'annoying sticky' you just know that they're there!
The only problems I've had with these is that they take a while to appear. Meaning, I twist the part you're meant to, to get the product to the surface and it doesn't. I twist and twist and nothing appears and then you stop and a lot of product comes and that wasn't the aim! I do really like these though and I had SUCH a bargain because I paid £15 for these and 1 lipglaze is that price!
They do last a reasonable amount of time on the lips too, although they disappear with drink/food, which I think most glosses do anyway!

| Would I buy again? |

I really would love to. I don't think I'd buy one lipgloss for £15 but I'd buy more sets. I like how they do sets for around £12 so that's brilliant, I'd definately do that. I'd like a different shade range to try, too. They do spring and autumn sets which are very pretty!

I'm really happy with these and I'm going to start using them a lot more. I hope you enjoyed this post - any questions, please ask and I'll try and help!

What's your favourite shade?
Lots of love! Zofia x

April Favourites

Hello everyone, favourites time!
I feel like my blog is always 'faves/empties' related. I do try and fit in as many other posts as I can so I get equal posts on here. I don't want you to get bored!
I really like these items and I wear them all the time. I never really have a 'go to ' product but you'll get to know mine soon!

OPI Nail Lacquer | Did It On Them, Nicki Minaj | £11
Absolutely love this nail polish! I've been loving OPI so much recently and I say this all the time but I need more OPI's! This applied soso well and I got two compliments over on YouTube with people saying how lovely it is! I love how it's very spring like and I'll be using it a lot this summer!

Chit Chat Highlighter | Poundland | £1
I love this. I really wanted this soon as I saw it and I've never got round to getting any Benefit items before so this was the nearest thing to their highlight. I love how I can apply a small amount and it looks pretty in the summer or I can apply another layer and it doesn't look thick and overly shimmery. A definite repurchase and something I've loved using.

Mellor & Russell Instant Shine Spray | Poundland | £1
This makes my hair feel lighter than usual. It doesnt weigh my thick, 10 layer hair down and it doesnt make it greasy straight away, even though it has argan oil in. I love how inexpensive it is and I love how I can repurchase and have it as an everyday staple. It's just like a mist/lighter hairspray.. I like!

Sunkissed Bronzing Pearls | Savers | £1.99
I love these. They have the right amount of shimmer but they're not overly shimmery. My Chit Chat one is slightly too shimmery but I don't mind. I love these and use them everyday! Inexpensive too.

MUA shade 4 | Superdrug | £1
My go to lipstick! I love this! It's sheer but buildable! I love the shimmer and it's the perfect spring/summer shade. It's my go to because it goes with everything and I've used it so much! I realised that there are 13 MUA lipsticks..yet I only have two..what am I doing with my life? I could have 13 lipsticks for the price of 1 MAC!

Stila Lip Glaze in Jingle | Boots | £15
I got these in the 'All Is Bright' set for Christmas. I've hardly used my Stila set yet but when I saw them I really liked them. I can't remember how many were in the set but £15 for the set is better than £15 for the one! I love them but they're incredibly sticky.. I don't actually mind! I like the colour range, too.

I hope you enjoyed this post, remember to comment below your faves! Lots of love x

Things I May Not Repurchase!

L-R
(first four swatches) Primark Palette | £1 | Primark
NO7 Face Primer | £11 | Boots.co.uk or Boots
Soap And Glory Scrub Your Nose In It | £7.99 | Boots
MUA Eye Primer | £1 | Superdrug Or Superdrug.co.uk / MUAstore.co.uk
MUA Pressed Powder | £1 | MUAstore.co.uk , Superdrug or Superdrug.co.uk

Hello pretties!

Today's post is based on products that I wouldn't repurchase. These products haven't been used much and if they have, I didn't like them. Some of them might feature on my Blog Sale section, so check it out if you have your eye on anything!

Primark Quad | £1 | Primark
I love the shades! I love how they're pastel coloured and I really wanted some eye shadow's like these. I've only swatched them twice and they don't seem to be very pigmented. I don't think they'd create a strong, pastel eye so I haven't bothered to use them. I might give them a go soon, if I don't like them I'll feature it on my blog sale!

No7 Face Primer | £11 | Boots / Boots.co.uk
Simple reason; I don't use primers. I don't really need them because I think loose powder mattifies my foundation so I haven't even used this! I have two and I've used the other ones once and it just doesn't agree with my skin. I'm oily skinned but this left a dry, white line on my cheeks so I didn't bother with it.

Soap And Glory, Scrub your Nose In It | £7.99 | Boots / Boots.co.uk
I really don't get on with it! I've never liked it since I had it and as much as I try and like it, It wont work! I might put this on the blog sale too, even though there's not the full amount of product, there's still enough. I think it's very thick and makes my skin even more oilier. Who likes this?

MUA Eye Primer | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
Simple reason..I haven't used it! I used it once but didn't take notice of the results. I need to try this more but the reason why I wouldn't repurchase is because it's sitting in a draw!

MUA pressed Powder | £1 | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
I like loose powder now. I have one that's used up and have this one that's only been swatched. I don't like pressed powder because it absorbs the oily parts of my skin and  makes my foundation awful! *blog sale*

I hope you all enjoyed this post and it gave you a little insight into what products I hardly use! I missed Mondays post - it's a Spring Makeup Look and will be uploaded tomorrow instead or Friday!

Hope you've all been having a good week - lots of love x

Monthly Wishlist | April

Untitled #486
REVLON NEARLY NAKED FOUNDATION | BUTTER LONDON POLISH | LOREAL ELVIVE SHAMPOO | MUA EYESHADOW TRIO | MUA POWER POUT | NEXT BRACELETS

Hello everyone! Wishlist time!
I usually do these on the 5th of the month but I didn't schedule this in time and wondered why it didn't post! ha!

This month, I was quite unsure of what i wanted. I was quite unsure of what to add and I didnt really know what to put on my list. I had to internet look for quite a while to see what things I wanted to try. I've managed to come up with my usual six and they're a small range of things.

I think my favourite thing on the list has to be the NEXT bracelets, eyeshadows or nail polish. I decided to put a pastel yellow nail polish on my list because I've wanted one for ages and it's one of the pastel colours that I don't have! I love lilac and mint green as you know but I don't have a pastel yellow and I really want one and I want to try some Butter London polishes too, I always see them in TKmaxx.

I really like the Next bracelets because they're rose gold and they're really simple for spring/summer and I think they'll look nice with any outfits. I like the city embellishments too!

The MUA baked trio's look amazing! They're new and I didn't know these were out but I saw them on the MUAstore.co.uk website and I decided straight away that I loved them. They do 2 other sets and I might just collect them all!

MUA are also doing 'power pout' lip crayons. You all know about the Chit Chat crayons as I mention them all the time. These look similar and so does the shade range. I hope to collect them all!

Then other things I need are a new foundation so I want to try the Nearly Naked one by Rimmel and I need to get myself the blue elvive because lately my scalp has been SO flaky and I hate it! I like Elvive so I should like this.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation | £8.99 | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
Butter London Nail Polish in shade Jasper | £9.50 | ButterLondon.co.uk
Elvive Anti Dandruff | Superdrug / Superdrug.co.uk
Eye Trio in Emotions | £3 | MUAStore.co.uk / Superdrug
Power Pout | £3 | MUAStore.co.uk / Superdrug
Next bracelets | £12 | Next.co.uk / Next
I hope you all enjoyed this post! Speak to you all on Tuesday! xo

March Empties

L-R
Lovely Mint Story Bubble Bath
Maybelline BB Cream Sample
Palmolive Deoderant
Loreal Elvive Conditioner
Beautiful Brunette Shampoo
Wet Wipes
Cotton Wool Balls
Snow Fairy Wand
Lovely Mint Story | Tesco
I loved using this, I used it quite regular and it's easy to purchase by visiting your local Tesco! I love the Treaclemoon bubble baths and I want to try more! It was affordable too.

Maybelline BB Cream | Sample
This was alright but I'm not too keen on BB creams. I thought this was just the same as a foundation and I don't see the 'hype' around a BB cream. This felt the same on my skin just the same as a lightweight foundation did. Why pay £4/5 for a BB cream when you can pay £8 for a larger bottle of foundation?

Palmolive Deoderant | Tesco/Boots
I use this everyday to keep me fresh and fragrant! It's nice on the underarms and does the job!

Loreal Conditioner | Boots/Tesco
I love this and I want to purchase another. I love the fact it leaves my hair silky soft and it's not overpriced.

Beautiful Brunette Shampoo | Boots
This was ok-ish but didn't really suit my hair. I thought it would restore my natural brunette but it didn't. It didn't really do anything spectacular so I don't think I'll repurchase.

Wet Wipes | Tesco
I use these everyday to freshen up my skin and to remove makeup. They're suitable for babies and young children so they're soft.. this is why I love them on my skin. They do a good job and they're just an everyday essential. Affordable and good to use!

Cotton Wool | ASDA
I picked these up from Asda. Along with my wet wipes I like using these for cleanser because they're big balls and they do the whole face in 3/4 balls. They're really soft too!

Snow Fairy Wand | LUSH
I love this! First time I tried it and mmmm, the scent is SO nice! It's a Christmas edition for Lush but I found the wand at the bottom of my empties bag, so I needed to mention!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tried any of this months empties? I feel like March went on forever?!

March Favourites!

FROM L-R
Soap & Glory, Champneys, Chit Chat, MUA, Sunkissed

Hi everyone, sorry it's late in the day! Been so busy.
I have my March Faves for you tonight, I love showing you these and I hope you enjoy them!

This is one of my favourite, faves because I absolutely love the products mentioned. I've been using them EVERYDAY and they're essential!

Champneys Citrus Blush Hand Lotion
I recieved this for Christmas and I'm so not a 'handcare' person! I've become in love with handcare recently though, just because I love this! I love the smell - it's quite floral, fruity and spicy. I love it because it smells quite christmassy! It's something I'm always using so I needed to include it!

Chit Chat Juicy Stick
I love this for sheer coverage. I love how it's quite balmy, yet buildable to be strong and pigmented. I love it and I love the fact it's inexpensive. I love the juicy sticks and I have them all!

MUA Blush
I'm not a blush girl! I've never been interested but I want a collection now.. just because I love this one! I've been using it since Christmas, nearly everyday and it's a simple shade. It suits my skin tone and it isn't bright or too dark. It's a lovely shade and goes with everything.

Righteous Butter
I love this and I've never bothered with it before! I've had it ages and I love the scent but I've just never bothered with using it. I love it's thickness but it does take a short while to dry... Definately repurchasable though!

Sunkissed Eyeshadow Duo
I LOVE these shades! DEFINATELY me! I love nudes and browns and if I could, the Naked palette would be mine! I love nudes and they suit everyone so they're my go to look for sure. I love how simplistic the shades are and I love the packaging. I use this all the time!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Have you tried any?

Product Comparisons #1

Hi everyone, today I'm comparing a few products for you all. I've already done this post but Blogger was being a wally and deleted EVERYTHING I had done..so round 2 it is! These products arn't the same brand or whatever but they should all do the same thing. I'll explain which ones I like/dislike and which ones I would repurchase and why. I hope this helps with future purchases etc - there will be #2 coming soon too! I hope you enjoy!

Flake Away VS Breakfast Scrub
Breakfast Scrub wins. I like it because it's for all over body, not just legs and it has a lovely smell. It uses natural ingredients and I've finally got to use it up and got to like it. It makes me silky smooth and mm!
I do like flake away but haven't actually used it much.

Skinology Tea Tree Face Scrub VS Scrub Your Nose In It
The wilko one is £1 and the S&G is around £7.. I prefer Wilko. I prefer Wilko because it's smooth and 'gel' like and the grains are tiny. I love the smell because it's fresh and not overpowering. The S&G one is very clay like and thick and it's like a mask. It also made me break out and didn't help my oily skin. The grains are very thick and it's like toothpaste slightly because of the smell and thickness. I wouldn't repurchase.

Natural Collection Mascara VS Maybelline Colossal Cats Eye
None win because I like them both. They both do different things and you can use them at the same time. I like the packaging on both.. I like the plain tube of Natural Collection and I like the leopard effect of the Maybelline tube. They're both drugstore but range from £1 to £7/8. I like the curved brush of Maybelline and I like the basic brush of natural collection. The Maybelline one curls lashes and separates while the Natural Collection one is brilliant for bottom and inner corner lashes.

Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick
Damson VS Autumn Leaf
Damson wins.
They're both very different even though they're the same brand/item. Damson is very pigmented and you don't need to use a lot, it's a S/S color and it's very smooth and balmy. Autumn Leaf is very balmy and non pigmented and doesn't stain the lips. I like them both and they're both really cheap at the cost of £1 but I'm more of a powerful pinks girl.. so Damson wins!

Beautybase Eyeliner VS Models Own VS MUA
These are all so different. They're different because of the applicator. Mua is a thin, small applicator while Beautybase is long and creates a perfect wing *if you have a steady hand* so they both win.. I don't like the Models Own one because the applicator is very thick and creates a thick line.. which I don't like for my eye shape. I like the MUA and Beautybase ones because they don't smudge and they're good at neat application.. both £1.

MUA pressed powder VS Natural Collection loose powder
Loose and pressed powders are totally different. Pressed powder, in my opinion, is best for dry skin or skin that needs amazing coverage. I find pressed powder to be overly cakey and quite hard to maintain on the face all day. Loose powder has become my new bestfriend because it's easy to blend, you don't go overboard, there are no mistakes made, you can keep covered all day and easily top up, you can get them inexpensively. The one I use is £1.99 from Natural Collection.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid VS Rimmel 25 Hour
I like them both. I used the Maybelline one before the Rimmel one and it's a really good coverage. The shade was dark and amazing for summer but now I use the Rimmel one everyday. The Rimmel one is buildable and slightly, slightly medium coverage but I always build it up anyway. They both lasted me ages and I'd repurchase both again.. noone wins!

I hope this post helped in some way or another and keep a look out for #2!

How I'd Style.. Disco Pants

how id style disco pants, (blog)

NEXT CHIFFON SHIRT £12 link | LAVISH ALICE DISCO PANTS £24 |
NUDE CORK T-BAR SANDALS £25

Hello everyone!
As always, this post was meant to be up yesterday but I'm a wally and forgot!
It's another How I'd Style... post and I hope you enjoy!

I've edited the outfit picture a bit different to my previous style post, I hope you like it!

This will only be a quick one, but I thought I'd show how I'd style a pair of disco pants, if I had any, and what I would put with them. I don't believe I have good legs for these, even if black is slimming! So I don't think I'll be getting some anytime soon, but, they're great things to style!

I saw this top on Next.co.uk and I really like the style. It's quite floaty and not tight so I suppose it's good to have a top like this if you have tight leggings..
I like the design and think it's pretty simple. I like these leggings from lavishalice.co.uk as they're plain disco pants.

The shoes are also my favorite from Next - I love the nude color and I love the heel style. I think the nude color breaks up the black a little.

Hope you enjoyed this post .. please request any outfits you want me to put together and I will!

Lots of love x

February Empties

Another month over, another bunch of products that have been sitting in a bag ready to be lobbed out.. but Zofia finally remembered to photograph some and pop on here!

I have a good amount of empties this month, a small range of everyday bits that I use and need. Not that interesting but here we go!

Nivea Q10 Body Oil | Sample Size
This was just a sample but I liked the idea. I didn't see what the point of it was, but this is probably because it wasn't a repetitive programme.. it was just a one use product. I think if you used it once a week and your skin knew you were using it, I think you'd see effects of what it was meant to do. I haven't heard any reviews on this etc but it seemed pretty cool.

Gliss Conditioner For Colored Hair
I like the Gliss shampoo's/Conditioner's. I normally get the pinky colored bottle but they didn't have that and I thought that this smelled nice anyway, so I didn't mind too much! This was an alright product, it did weigh my hair down slightly and the product was quite thick. Like I said over on my Youtube channel, I'd repurchase if I didn't have anything else.. but it's not a go to product and it's not something I'd be looking forward to use.

Palmolive Soft And Gentle
This is just my basic, everyday deodorant!

COLOR Macara
This is a New Look mascara from a gift set. I enjoyed using this, it was very runny and had a very thick applicator. I hardly used it but it was used every so often. It's gone dry now so I'll probably keep the wand as always and use it in brow gel!

Baby Wipes
I use these to remove makeup when I don't use my Elemis wipes. These are my everyday wipes and I think they're brilliant! They're cheap in Tesco and normally 3 for 2. They're really soft and take off mascara etc really well.

Baylis & Harding Wild Rose Body Wash
As you know, I love B&H! I love their products because they're really nice on the skin. They last a long time and are a really quality buy. I loved using this and it was a really thick gel that could be used sparingly. I never like 'rose' scents but this one was really subtle!

Tesco Everyday Shampoo
I never use this on my hair, I use it on the dogs!
I always use this to wash the dog, but the main reason I buy it is so I can clean my makeup brushes! I love using this to clean them, it doesn't leave them clogged up and it's easy to wash out. I love how it doesn't leave them with a scent either.

Supersoft Apple Shampoo
This seemed like a really cheap shampoo. Like it wouldnt do much good for my hair. This was a last minute buy in Savers as I couldn't find any decent looking shampoo's and I wanted to try something new. Infact, it was quite good. It left me with a tiny bit of volume which I NEVER have in my hair, it's flat as a pancake! It left it feeling clean and was easy to rinse out..once I blowdried my hair, it was silky! I'd repurchase.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in 2 days time for my How To Style post!

Love you all, Zofia x

A Few Gifts For Mothers Day!

mothers day (blog post)

Hello everyone!

I wasn't meant to blog today, but I've decided to throw a cheeky blog post in, seeing as it's an 'event' type post and so it doesn't matter that I've bugged you all 3 days in a row!

It's Mothers Day this Sunday and - if you're like me - you still haven't gone racing through the shopping center looking and chocolates, flowers and perfumes..let alone buy anything! Fear not, because tomorrow is Friday meaning it's the weekend.. you still have time!

I think Mothers Day is such a personal day. Many gifts include flowers, chocolates, photo's, bath things, perfumes and makeup. The typical womanly items. To pick a gift for someone is incredibly hard as it is, unless your relative knows you're a beauty blogger and wouldn't mind anything off a beauty counter OR you have an xbox/playstation loving guy in the house!

I don't know what I'll be buying for my mum, but I never go for the typical stuff. My mum isn't a chocolate eater, if so, she'll nick a bit of mine.. but she won't race to the shop to get a bar! Mum's not too keen on perfumes and it's not something she collects..although I do know she loves the Body Shop's 'Musk' perfume - it's her signature scent! - but, I got her that for Christmas..
We also share the large quantity of overloading makeup together anyway, so it'd be pointless in getting her a red lippy or some beauty bits, because we have enough.

BUT, if your really, really, really stuck for ideas - fear not! - I attempted scouring the web to find you all some lovely presents to give to your mum on Mothers Day!

NEXT | Gift Box | £30
I know. It seems very pricey!
I love the thought of this, it's pre-made I know.. but, it's a nice touch. It includes Rose wine, flowers and gift cards. I know you can pick these all up in single items for a tiny less of the price, but I think that because it's quite near the day, to get these delivered would be nice.

Sanctury | Escape & Unwind Collection | £20.50
As you all know, I love Sanctury! I loved the idea of this gift set because it's really worth it and you can even give your mum the 2,500 Boots points to spend on herself after, haha!
This collection seemed quite womanly and mature. Every mum likes to unwind and I think Sanctury products are really good quality and totally worth it. This is definitely something I recommend.

Personalized Heart Trinket Box | buyagift.co.uk
I've never used this website before and I've only just come across it. I love the idea of easily finding a gift that gives you a decent amount of choices. This is a website that I'll definitely use in the future and a website that is SUCH a big help!
I came across a personalized heart trinket box which I suppose isn't a typical kinda gift. It's more personal and more thought has gone into it. I love the idea of this and I suppose if you have any trinkets that have been passed down in the family - maybe from your mums mum - that means a lot, you could pop trinkets in here like jewelerry, photo's etc that mean a lot.. so it's more of a personal keepsake and something she can keep forever. More of a memory. You can check out more gifts for mothers day using this link if you wanted -

Thorntons Personalized Chocolates
This is a great personalized gift! If your mum is a total chocoholic then definitely purchase some! They're personalized so I suppose you could personalize them with 'i love you' or something a bit more different! I personally don't like to buy chocolates for mum because she doesn't like them, but also, because it's not much of a gift.. this is just my own opinion but I think it's something that can't be cherished, remembered and kept.. it's an everyday item!

Perfume
Perfume is the hardest gift. Us bloggers find it HARD to describe a scent, let alone choose one for someone else! I spend about an hour in a perfume section of Boots smelling & testing perfumes WITHOUT buying so picking for someone else would be painful! haha.
Perfume is very personal and something you either hate or love. Finding someone else's signature scent is difficult because they could either love it or hate it. I think  if you got someone's scent wrong, it would go completely downhill.. partly because  perfumes can either be out there, subtle, girly, young, mature, womanly, masculine.. there are all different scents and although a perfume might smell pretty and it says 'Chanel' on the glass bottle, does not mean your mum will like it! If you do want to get her a perfume, maybe ask her what ones she likes.. ask her about her top 5 and then you're not giving the game away. Or maybe, use Boots points.. I know it sounds daft but if you pick her up the Sanctury set for example, you could go perfume shopping with her to let her decide after. Just make sure you pick the right one! Many Jo Malone perfumes are suitable, I think, so you could go with that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope I gave you a small idea of things you could get last minute. Sorry it might have been a bit Cliche but I can't even think of what to get for my mum ahaha!
I hope you and your mum all have a brilliant day together and don't argue as much as me & mine do! Happy mothers day to all!

Lots of love!
Zofia x
