Essie Autumn/Winter Collection!

Hey guys!
Just thought I would post this up.. Essie!
Its just turned SeptemberO1 about 10 minutes ago and I just saw this picture floating around on the internet. I dont know if im late or not, but omg!
I actually LOVE these shades! These are for the autumn collection, and I saw the summer Essie shades but unfortunately I never got the chance to get the collection.
I like all the shades, they're very autumn like and for only £8 I will be making a few purchases!
Stylenomics looks like my favourite and first Essie purchase, but Skirting The Issue definitely will be bought!
Overall, these look like 'worth the money' buys so yeah.. down to Boots next week!
What shades do you have your eye on? Whos excited for autumn/winter?! I am!
Lots of love..

Nail Wheel Purchase

Last post of today I think.. its 4.45am! ...zzz....
So I ordered these about a week ago from Ebay. Ive been wanting some of these for ages because as you might have seen from Nails Of The Week videos and blog posts, I love to decorate my nails in a classy but pretty way without going overboard.
So I asked dad to buy me these seeing as they were very cheap and cheaper than what I thought they would be.. and simply because Ive been wanting to try them for a while.
I havent done any designs yet, but im saving them for a rainy day! Im always bored so it'll keep me busy.
Ill post pictures of completed ones, if anyone wants to see.
These are from Ebay and cost £1.48 for 10 in a pack. We ordered 3 packs because dad didnt realise how many you got in 1 hahaha.
Just thought I would show you all!
Lots of love..

My Nails This Week - NYC Review!

This will be so hard to explain hahaha!
Okay so, you all know I bought this when I went to Stamford and on Thursday night I finally tried it out and used it for this weeks nails.
Its a pinky nude color and its quite hard for me to explain the shade because its not a tan/brown nude its more of a peachy pink nude.
Its very light once you first apply it, but if you do two coats its quite clear to see the shade. I applied black polka dots which really defined the color and brought it out.
I didnt have many colors like this, so I decided to buy it and see how nude colors suited me. I think they look really nice and this shade is still summery although its not very bright.
This is the OhSohoSweet shade from NYC color which I love their nail polish brands.. and they're only £1.99! (I love a bargain).
It dries really quickly and is lovely and shiny without a clear coat - I didnt add one.
Its lovely and suits everything because its nude.
Definately buy again!
Lots of love..

What I Bought Today

Close up of the necklace.. so pretty..

It was reduced from £4.. to £2!

..Bought a cheeky flannel! Essentials and all that;-)!

I bought this new Charlie spray, I didnt know they had a new one!

What does it smell like?

Trying a new shampoo too! Garnier Fructis ran out!

Alberto Balsam swatch..

Orange/Satsuma swatch..

I reaaaalllyyy liked the lid of the shower gel!

Nail polish! cant go a day without purchasing!

OhSohoSweet...

Its a lovely nude, I have no shades like this..

Zofias been shopping!

Mmmm.. gorgeous!
So, thats a lot of photos!
I went to Stamford today, which is like 12 minutes away from me and they have a few shops there like Wilko, M&S, Superdrug, Savers, Boots etc so we just walk the dog there for the meadows and I had some money to spend so we walked up to the shops. Its only a small little place - google?! - but I enjoy it more than Peterborough.. where I live.
So ill guide you through what I bought and then later on when I use the things ill review them a little bit more.
  • Start off in the list order. I bought myself a necklace as I dont have many, I have more earrings than necklaces and I thought this was super pretty! Its a bronzy gold color and is on a thin chain. Its got some pretty hearts hanging off an O shape and these are all different patterns. This would go with pretty much everything and for £2 rather than £5 i thought it was a bargain! I got this from Superdrug!
  • I then bought a flannel, this is an essential because I needed a new one, they need changing every now and again! So this was about 33p from Wilko, I dont really mind about the cheap price tag, it does its job haha! I got this in a Fushia pink, its lovely & soft.
  • From Savers, for £1, I got the new Charlie spray, this is in 'Enchant' the bottle design drew me in and I think its really pretty with the pastel blue color. Ive sprayed this a little bit to smell it, but Ill do a separate review on this. Its in its normal bottle ml and says it contains 'honeysuckle, wild apple and coconut'.
  • I then got myself a new shampoo to try out seeing as my Garnier Fructis shampoo has run out, review here-  http://resterbellex.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/okay-so-this-is-bit-of-different-post-i.html - plus, I hate buildup so I love to change. This is Lychee & Coconut. Well, Ill review this in a new post but.. I have no idea what Lychee is, haha. I love coconut at the moment, so I bought this. £1 from Savers.
  • Everytime I go shopping/out I always pick up a nail polish! I have a reasonably large collection so I think a sortout is in order! This is another NYC nail polish, Ive never bothered with them before but I have 3 now and I love NYC! This is in OhSohoSweet and is a very plain nude color that ive been wanting for a while so for £2, you cant complain! Ill also review this soon!
So, I got quite a lot, I wonder if you've tried any of these?
Lots of love..

Nails This Week!

My nails this week!

For the look I used;
MUA £1 nailpolish shade16
NYC glitter polish in lights-camera-glitter £1.75
LA colors nail polish in Energy Source 99p

I love glitter!

What I used to create them, including clear coat, this added a shine

Finished look!
Hey! Ive used my MUA nail polish to create a really pretty, summery, girly look and I love it!
So ill explain how I created them, its not too difficult and ill explain what I like/dislike etc..the usual!
I used MUA nail polish that I bought the other day, this is shade 16 and its such a lovely bubblegum color which actually matches my Nicki Minaj MAC lipstick! It applies so well, and makes my nails look long for some reason?! I really like it, like I said in the haul post, its worth every penny in the pound! Im defo going to buy again!
Moving on to my ring finger; ive never really done a different color for this finger but ive seen it as a bit of a trend recently and it takes some getting used to but its pretty. I applied my LA colors nail polish shown above which I like, 2 coats gives a lovely, thick white. Worth the money too. I then applied the glitter nail polish on the top which adds some bling/glitz to the pink/white which looks amazing! I added a clear coat to the top of the nails to make the glitter shiny and to make the pink really shiny too. Definitely would do this look again!
What nails do you have this week?
Lots of love..

Nails This Week

So I normally do my nails this week post/ YouTube video and these are my nails this week!
It was sunny in the week, unfortunately its not anymore and my dress was black/floral/green/red anyway, so i decided to have these nails. As you can see, these are the polishes I used to create them. You probably know about these anyway as I've reviewed them all and they're recently bought. The one in the bottom left was bought from westfield recently and I have only used it the once on this look. Its such a lovely polish and created the perfect summer sparkle in blue. I really like these nails, hopefully they keep the sun out!

Saturday 21 July 2012

So, on my blog im going to start showing things of Mums too. I always do her hair/makeup/nails so I thought, 'why not add it onto here?' I will also post some reviews of Mums too.
So, yesterday, I done my Mums nails into a French Manicure type style. Mum really likes these because they're really classic and simple and they obviously go with anything, Mum's always really undecided with clothes and what to put on in the morning so this was a good idea haha!
I do my manicures probably different to other people, I will do a YouTube video on this once I get sorted and show you how I do mine. But, until then, I will do a step by step post on here, just to help out if you like this look or are inexperienced. Remember, I am NOT a pro, just someone who loves beauty and can show you techniques of how I do things.

  • First, decide on a lightish pink color you're going to use for the whole nail, if you dont have a proper one for French Manicures.
  • Decide on a white nail polish.
  • Then, get a clear coat.
  • I just use a cheap one from the £1 store, works good enough!
  • Then, get an emery board and neaten the tips of the nail. This looks better if you do this because it smooths the edge of the nails, making the white tips professional.
  • Then, apply the pink color all over the nail, just like you normally paint your nails. My routine is to start in the middle fanning the brush out, then the left, then the right, getting equal amounts on the finger. I try not to do it too thick, because I hate gloopy nail polish, so i apply a thinner layer, then do a second coat.
  • Do this repeatedly for all the fingers.
  • Then, wait to dry.
  • When they dry, apply a second coat of the pink, if the first coat isnt thick enough, if it is, don't bother because you don't want it proper pink, you want it more pastel colored.
  • After these dry properly so they dont smude or ruin, apply the top coat.. this is the clear polish. Apply this equally and quick thick, this will make sure the pink doesnt chip and it is nice and shiny.. like a manicure!
  • Then, when thats dry, apply the white's.
  • You can do this with a stencil, so its really neat, BUT, this is where I do things differently. Its hard to explain how I do it without sounding unprofessional, but ill explain anyway.
  • So, i apply the white by slowly applying it to the tip of the nail.. i apply it like im painting the nail, but just on the tips. I have a really steady hand so it looks perfectly done. Its hard to explain, but I will do a youtube video.
  • Then, you're done. You can apply another clear coat if you wanted, but I suggest dont because it could smude the white into the pink.
Lots of love! xxx

These are this weeks nails! I painted them 3 days ago (wednesday) and these are the colors^ and how I designed them.
Nothing special, just summery and kind of rainbow I suppose.
Orange - Barry M Coral, £2.99 Boots.
Pink - Barry M Shocking Pink £2.99 Boots.
Yellow - Rimmel 280 Sunshine £2.49 Boots/Superdrug.
Blue - 341 Kiko; Makeup Milano £2.50 from KIKO in Westfield.
Green - NYC High Line Green - £1.75 Superdrug.
I just thought these all matched and looked nice together, so for quick nails I just applied these!
Lots of Love xxx
Sorry I am SO behind! Been busy, new camera etc and there hasnt been much to post about, but, there is now, so so so much to show you!
Ill even post some Camera pics up soon.
So, these were last weeks nails, no YouTube video this week, sorry.
In used my LA color nail polish from Beauty Base in Westfields and its actually really good for the price it was. It doesnt chip but without a clear coat on the top, it can feel chalky and so you do need a clear coat.
White nail paints are always difficult in my opinion, so you will need a second coat so they dont chip.
I added black, zebra like lines to the nails for effect and detail, these look good with a steady hand, and look nice for occasions etc, if you have Nail Art pens.
I hope you like this look! More posts to come, been busy!

Wednesday 4 July 2012

So, the next thing/s I bought were, nail polishes!
I can NEVER go shopping without getting some haha, im lethal!
I got, LA colors color craze in Treasure Island and Energy Source. I needed a white nail polish and I couldnt resist this sparkly blue color.
They go well together so I might do a white bottom color and add this blue on the top, im not quite sure.
These are 99p from Beauty Base. At the back of the store is where they're located and there is a whole big rack of them! Every color!
For the price, they're amazing!
I admit, I didnt expect them to be good, but they are!
These will be applied soon! Stay Tuned!
Lots of Love, Zofia xxx
These are my Nails for this week. I did them last Friday for London. I decided on polka dots because they matched my outfit and decided on the pastel colors because they also matched my outfit. I love Barry M and the brown & mint green colors are my favorites.
These colors matched really well and as you know, I love Barry M's because they dont chip quick and they're not gloopy. I really liked these!

Friday 29 June 2012

If you watch my YouTube videos, you will know that last Wednesday/Thursday, I went shopping. I didnt get LOADS, I just got a few little sale things, and things I liked.
I thought I'd share them all with you, seeing as I did on my YouTube.
I lost one of the things when I took this - a Nude color vest top - I have now found it, so I will post a picture tomorrow.
So, in picture 1, you can see all the products I bought, the NYC Nail Polish & Eyebrow Pencil you already know so I wont review them again, its just boring.
Picture 2 being the price tags, thought this would look good on the picture so I added them in, nothing special.
Picture 3 being, the Bangle I got. I love this! Its quite different to the Bangles or Bracelets I already have, so I picked this up from New Look on a sale shelf. I thought it would be more than £0.50p on the sale, but it wasnt, 50p for sure! I love the design, the fact its Duck Egg Blue/ Pastel Blue, with a gold, brassy type color patterned on. Its not a small, detailed pattern, just a swirly shape all round. Inside is a brassy gold shade, no pattern here. It fits well and goes well with the skirt.
Picture 4, as I just mentioned, the skirt. I actually love this, in the picture it doesnt look very good, but, skirts are really in trend at the minute. This is a  chiffon type material, if you know what chiffon is, its like them very loose shirts that are in trend at the minute. Its very thin and loose for hot weather, it has an elastic waist so it fits me perfectly. Its a polka dot pattern as you can see. It caught my eye in New Look and was £14.99. It goes well with the vest I got and a nude blazer that I have. Ill be wearing this for London!
Picture 5, you should know if you read/watched my review of them, if not - http://www.youtube.com/user/littlemisspradaxo.
Picture 6, I love these! So, so different to what I usually wear or buy. These are actually so light its unbelievable! I thought they would be very heavy, but they're not. They have a beaded type design to them and are a gold & black & white color. I think they'd go with a maxi dress of the same shade and would look nice for summer too. Not much to say on these, I havent tried them on! £0.50p.
Picture 7, I LOVE these so much! So different to what I usually buy too. They're a gold color (I see a theme?!) with a little diamante in the center. I think they're floral design, I dont actually know. They're really heavy but look so pretty in and would go well with the skirt. Perfect for summer aswell, which is good if the sun decides to say hello! Amazing for £0.50p!
Hope you all enjoyed this mini haul, im sure i'll have a lot more goodies to haul on Monday, after London, too!

My toe nails this week! I LOVE this color. Its summery & light, I've already reviewed it, but needed to do a post on my nails/toenails this week to keep you all updated. Its very thick and doesnt get on my skin which i love.
I didnt need a second coat, and the brush is a perfect size. This cost about £2.49 in some shop called Savers, I think this is just a UK store though.

My favourite Summer Nail Polishes.
(On my arm from L-R).

  • Nails Inc London. Atomic by Fabulous magazine. I didnt buy this but its around £11 to buy. I think you can get this in Boots. 41 South Molton Street is the supplier so its a good London brand. visit www.nailsinc.com for more shades. I like this because its very thick and has a basic summer shade. Its a bright orange shade, and takes about 5 days to chip. Looks good on short or long nails as me & mum have tried it, she has long, I have short. The only thing I dont like, is its very gloopy and sometimes gets on your skin around your cuticle and top of the nail, some nail polishes dont do this. I like the fact its £11 but its a big bottle, so its good value.
  • Nail Paint by Barry M. This costs £2.99 which is amazing value! And, as you probably dont know, Barry M is my favourite Nail Polish brand. This is 272 - Shocking Pink. I like this because its very simple and can go with any outfit. Looks amazing on Toe Nails too! I have quite a few 'Hot Pink' colors, but this ones a lighter shade, as you can tell from the picture. Most ones I have are more red toned than pink. This isnt gloopy and takes quite a while to chip. It also applied to my nails perfectly and doesnt go on the skin. Amazing for summer!
  • NYC (New York Color) Expert Last Nail Color. 105 Lights-Camera-Glitter. This isnt really a Nail Color, its more of a Nail Art I suppose. I apply this on top of nails and it looks perfect for summer, its glittery and glitzy and sparkles when the sun (finally) comes out in England! I like this because, unlike the other glitter polish I have, it has big sequin style particles in it, which adds more design, rather than little pieces of glitter. This goes on well too and really protects the nail polish, stopping it chip, as it has a clear nail polish base in it. I really like this, and, it was only £1.97!
  • Next Nail Polish is Barry M Silver Glitter 149. As I said ^ this doesnt have big particles in it, its just a simple glittery polish. Its really hard to take off as its so thick, but looks really pretty on and protects the Nail Polish. You need about, 2-3 coats depending on how glittery you want it. All round, perfect for summer!
  • This one, you may not have heard of. Its called Kiko Makeup Milano. Ive seen a few pictures on Tumblr of this product, but, I didnt hear of it before i went to Westfields. You can visit there website here -  http://www.kikocosmetics.com/eshop/guest;jsessionid=AUY2qeMlXTiVUg+EKgLIPQ__.jboss7  - if you want to see any more shades, its excellent! It cost £2.50, so a perfect price for a good polish! Its very thick and you need 2 coats depending on how pigmented you want it. Its better for short nails or medium length, if not, 2 coats for long nails. Its a light blue and obviously a good shade for summer. It doesnt chip till around 5 days time. I really like this and glad I spotted it! It doesnt have a shade name, but its shade 341.
  • Another Barry M one! This one is like Nails Inc Atomic but much brighter. The Nails Inc is more Coral colored than this one. Funnily enough, its called Coral, 296. Like I said about the Shocking Pink color, its a good summer brand, the same applies.
  • Next one is No7 Stay Perfect Nail color. Pink Grapefruit 80 is the shade. I like the color as its a reddy-pink and its quite dark. But, I dont like the Nail Polish its self. Its very thick and the brush is too long. Its very gloopy and goes on my skin. Its not one of my favourite Summer Nail polishes, but the shade is. Its good for long nails, so it might suit you better.
  • MUA nail polish shade 9. I love this, as you all know, if you watch my YouTube. I think this is very good for on the go people or just a top up. I like the shade and its good for short nails. For long nails you need to add a few coats. Its not gloopy or thick its just the right consistency. I really like it, good for a pound too!
  • This one, is my fave nail polish of my collection! Its a pastel color, even better for summer, its one of the trends! Its Barry M, so the same applies to what I said about the others. Berry 308 is the shade. Its lovely and thick, which I like for this shade, I wanted this shade because I saw it on the Cher Lloyd UK - Want You Back video! Haha!
  • This next one is a green/mint pastel color. I like this, the same as the Lilac one above. Its another pastel type color. Its called 304 Mint Green. The only problem with this is.. 2 coats ..it goes REALLY gloopy & thick, but my nails are short so one is enough.
  • Sally Hansen Maximum Plus. This was my mums from about 5 years ago. Theres still a bit in it, I dont really use it but the color is so pretty. Its a candy Pink color but I dont think you can buy it from shops anymore. Sometimes, this goes gloopy if you apply two coats but I suppose it depends how you apply it. The brush is like the No7 brushes, they're really long which I dont really like but I love the color so its a dilemma!
  • NYC (New York Color) I love this! Ive already reviewed it, so you all know what I think. Its 298 High Line Green.
  • Natural Collection Antique Coral. When I got this, Coral was really on trend. I didnt have a Coral at the time, and I really liked this one. Its a pastel type Coral color, so it would be good to wear this summer as its on trend. It doesnt go gloopy or thick, its a perfect size brush too. £1.98..perfect!
  • Nails Inc OMP by Fabulous. Like I said for the first review, stays the same for this. Its perfect for toes and mum likes it too! Probably wouldnt have bought this from a store, so it was good I got it free.
  • Next is, Natural Collection. The shade number/name has been rubbed off, but its a shimmery lilac color. I have the Lilac eyeshadow color to match too! Like the coral color, I loved this too! Shame I spilt most of it and its nearly all gone! I love the shimmery shade to it, perfect for summer!
  • This one is the last, but also one of my favourite Nail Polishes of my collection! Rimmel I <3 Lasting Finish - Sunshine 280. Its yellow but so matte and really bright. I have this on my toes right now ( picture coming soon). Its very thick but good for short/long nails. Perfect summer shade!
I hope you all liked this post.

Thursday 21 June 2012

I recently went to Town and had a look round with mum. I spotted this in Superdrug as I don't have a grass green color. This is by NYC and i really like it. I haven't used it yet but I will tonight/tomorrow. Its like a grassy green color like i said before, it said its quick dry, which, i believe because I have another NYC color and i really like it. The shade is called High Line Green. The number is 298. Its a non gloopy formula, which I like because I have short nails and if its a thick mixture, It doesn't go well. Its not a transparent polish either, its very pigmented seeing as it was £1.98. I really like this nail polish!

Recently Done: Nails!

Created with: MUA shade 26&11. I also used Nail Art Pens for the Polka Dots.

I love these colors together, the dark purple and silver look so good together. They're probably Wintry colors but I don't really mind. I added Polka Dots because it looked a bit plain by itself.
I really like MUA because its only £1 and the colors are good and non gloopy or chip easy. I only have these two colors and the light blue but that's running out.
The silver isnt glittery or matte.. its just plain and the purple isnt shimmery, its matte.
If you add some clear nail polish like I did it looks exactly like a £10 nail polish! I hope you all like this look!
