The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hello everyone!
This is a no picture blog post today, as I can't post the post I was meant to because I didn't upload the YT video for it.. my next proper post will be the 16th though, don't worry!
I couldn't forget about you all and not post so I'm going to be doing a tag post that I was tagged in by Song Of My Sole.
I'm going to get on with doing the tag and I hope you all enjoy!

Rules
1. You must copy and paste these 'rules' onto your post when you write it; it doesn't take long!

2. You must state that this tag was created by 'The Beau Bow' and link www.thebeaubow.blogspot.com

3. You must thank the person who tagged you at the start of your post (link their blog as well) -follow them if you're feeling nice!, and then at the end of your post state who you tag, and then comment on their blog on their latest post to let them know you tagged them, and link your post so they can see what to do.

4. Title this post 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG' so everyone knows what it is about.

5. Have fun! :)

Questions1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.
Recently, I've been doing everything. I've been doing haircare - using masks and oil samples. I've been using skincare because I've broken out massively via Elemis..and I've been doing my makeup regime.. do I'm not too sure! I'm not sure if this is a right answer or whatever but I don't really ever do my eyebrows when doing my makeup. I hardly fill them in and I think they look okay as they are..
A regime though.. I think facial masks? I'm not sure!

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
Yeah. I never used to. I do now. Twice this week, infact!

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Not long.. if it chips, I always take it off. I paint them every week, so if it comes off on the 5th day, I always wait until thr 7th day.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty product or nail polish product even if you need it?(i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
Long.. things like wet wipes, cotton wool etc always get bought. But things like lipglosses don't.. I'll use whatever I have in my collection. Foundations always get replaced if I don't have a new one because I neeeeeeed foundation!

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Touching my face! I always moan about spots but I sit there leaning on my hand. I do the occasional sleeping with makeup on, but I hardly do that anymore.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Schoolwork. Haven't done it in a while.. I will tomorrow! After filming Youtube videos, ofcourse;) It's just long and eurgh.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
I just take 45 mins to do makeup..so if I'm going out at 12, I'll get ready at 10 and see how long it takes.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Yep. I hardly ever go shopping. I do it once a month - not exactly high end products I'll give you that!

9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
Pretty organised. I don't have polish storage yet, I have little boxes for my makeup, though.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?

Not long...a week maybe?

NOTW | Mirror Black

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing okay!
Another NOTW post for you today, I enjoy doing these and they've become a regular series on my blog.

This weeks nails are very shimmery, black and 'party' like. They ARE a bit scuffed and scruffy and not done to my best ability, partly because this picture wasn't taken soon as I done them and I had to go to work straight after I done these so they got a little bit ruined and when I was applying them, I was in a bad rush - so apologies for that one!

The nail polish I used is Goldigga and as far as I know, I've never had any of their products before and they've never taken any interest to me. I got a set of three for Christmas and in the set included a pink & gold - plus this one. If I'm guessing right, I think these are from Savers.

Soon as I saw this polish I loved it and the color was perfect. I don't have a big collection of blacks and I loved this black polish especially because of the gold shimmers. I do like black polish and it's such a basic color but I personally think the perfect one is hard to find. I like black polishes that don't leave a mess on the nails & skin and black polishes that apply really well and don't chip quick. If a black polish chips, it doesn't look overly bad but it'd not the best! I think black polishes are really classy and simplistic and obviously go with everything! The gold shimmer adds a hint of girlyness and party look to the black, block color.

I applied this and it looked perfect. I then painted each and every fingernail on my left hand while in a rush. While it was drying, I carried on with my makeup. After 10 minutes I checked to see if it was dry and they weren't.. they felt quite sticky and gloopy which I HATE in a nail polish. I then took it off and tried to reapply. By this time, I had to leave it on for work so I tried my best to dry it somehow. I used the hairdryer! They managed to dry and they look pretty nice so I decided to use Glamour magazine's Nails Inc polish for extra shimmer and a bit of clear gloss. It hasn't chipped very easy.

I like this polish and I love the color a lot. I had a bit of problem with the application but this was probably because I was in a rush. All in all, 6.5/10!

How I'd Style.. Disco Pants

how id style disco pants, (blog)

NEXT CHIFFON SHIRT £12 link | LAVISH ALICE DISCO PANTS £24 |
NUDE CORK T-BAR SANDALS £25

Hello everyone!
As always, this post was meant to be up yesterday but I'm a wally and forgot!
It's another How I'd Style... post and I hope you enjoy!

I've edited the outfit picture a bit different to my previous style post, I hope you like it!

This will only be a quick one, but I thought I'd show how I'd style a pair of disco pants, if I had any, and what I would put with them. I don't believe I have good legs for these, even if black is slimming! So I don't think I'll be getting some anytime soon, but, they're great things to style!

I saw this top on Next.co.uk and I really like the style. It's quite floaty and not tight so I suppose it's good to have a top like this if you have tight leggings..
I like the design and think it's pretty simple. I like these leggings from lavishalice.co.uk as they're plain disco pants.

The shoes are also my favorite from Next - I love the nude color and I love the heel style. I think the nude color breaks up the black a little.

Hope you enjoyed this post .. please request any outfits you want me to put together and I will!

Lots of love x

February Empties

Another month over, another bunch of products that have been sitting in a bag ready to be lobbed out.. but Zofia finally remembered to photograph some and pop on here!

I have a good amount of empties this month, a small range of everyday bits that I use and need. Not that interesting but here we go!

Nivea Q10 Body Oil | Sample Size
This was just a sample but I liked the idea. I didn't see what the point of it was, but this is probably because it wasn't a repetitive programme.. it was just a one use product. I think if you used it once a week and your skin knew you were using it, I think you'd see effects of what it was meant to do. I haven't heard any reviews on this etc but it seemed pretty cool.

Gliss Conditioner For Colored Hair
I like the Gliss shampoo's/Conditioner's. I normally get the pinky colored bottle but they didn't have that and I thought that this smelled nice anyway, so I didn't mind too much! This was an alright product, it did weigh my hair down slightly and the product was quite thick. Like I said over on my Youtube channel, I'd repurchase if I didn't have anything else.. but it's not a go to product and it's not something I'd be looking forward to use.

Palmolive Soft And Gentle
This is just my basic, everyday deodorant!

COLOR Macara
This is a New Look mascara from a gift set. I enjoyed using this, it was very runny and had a very thick applicator. I hardly used it but it was used every so often. It's gone dry now so I'll probably keep the wand as always and use it in brow gel!

Baby Wipes
I use these to remove makeup when I don't use my Elemis wipes. These are my everyday wipes and I think they're brilliant! They're cheap in Tesco and normally 3 for 2. They're really soft and take off mascara etc really well.

Baylis & Harding Wild Rose Body Wash
As you know, I love B&H! I love their products because they're really nice on the skin. They last a long time and are a really quality buy. I loved using this and it was a really thick gel that could be used sparingly. I never like 'rose' scents but this one was really subtle!

Tesco Everyday Shampoo
I never use this on my hair, I use it on the dogs!
I always use this to wash the dog, but the main reason I buy it is so I can clean my makeup brushes! I love using this to clean them, it doesn't leave them clogged up and it's easy to wash out. I love how it doesn't leave them with a scent either.

Supersoft Apple Shampoo
This seemed like a really cheap shampoo. Like it wouldnt do much good for my hair. This was a last minute buy in Savers as I couldn't find any decent looking shampoo's and I wanted to try something new. Infact, it was quite good. It left me with a tiny bit of volume which I NEVER have in my hair, it's flat as a pancake! It left it feeling clean and was easy to rinse out..once I blowdried my hair, it was silky! I'd repurchase.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in 2 days time for my How To Style post!

Love you all, Zofia x

A Few Gifts For Mothers Day!

mothers day (blog post)

Hello everyone!

I wasn't meant to blog today, but I've decided to throw a cheeky blog post in, seeing as it's an 'event' type post and so it doesn't matter that I've bugged you all 3 days in a row!

It's Mothers Day this Sunday and - if you're like me - you still haven't gone racing through the shopping center looking and chocolates, flowers and perfumes..let alone buy anything! Fear not, because tomorrow is Friday meaning it's the weekend.. you still have time!

I think Mothers Day is such a personal day. Many gifts include flowers, chocolates, photo's, bath things, perfumes and makeup. The typical womanly items. To pick a gift for someone is incredibly hard as it is, unless your relative knows you're a beauty blogger and wouldn't mind anything off a beauty counter OR you have an xbox/playstation loving guy in the house!

I don't know what I'll be buying for my mum, but I never go for the typical stuff. My mum isn't a chocolate eater, if so, she'll nick a bit of mine.. but she won't race to the shop to get a bar! Mum's not too keen on perfumes and it's not something she collects..although I do know she loves the Body Shop's 'Musk' perfume - it's her signature scent! - but, I got her that for Christmas..
We also share the large quantity of overloading makeup together anyway, so it'd be pointless in getting her a red lippy or some beauty bits, because we have enough.

BUT, if your really, really, really stuck for ideas - fear not! - I attempted scouring the web to find you all some lovely presents to give to your mum on Mothers Day!

NEXT | Gift Box | £30
I know. It seems very pricey!
I love the thought of this, it's pre-made I know.. but, it's a nice touch. It includes Rose wine, flowers and gift cards. I know you can pick these all up in single items for a tiny less of the price, but I think that because it's quite near the day, to get these delivered would be nice.
http://www.polyvore.com/next_flowers_gift_cards_delivered/thing?id=78322141

Sanctury | Escape & Unwind Collection | £20.50
As you all know, I love Sanctury! I loved the idea of this gift set because it's really worth it and you can even give your mum the 2,500 Boots points to spend on herself after, haha!
This collection seemed quite womanly and mature. Every mum likes to unwind and I think Sanctury products are really good quality and totally worth it. This is definitely something I recommend.

Personalized Heart Trinket Box | buyagift.co.uk
I've never used this website before and I've only just come across it. I love the idea of easily finding a gift that gives you a decent amount of choices. This is a website that I'll definitely use in the future and a website that is SUCH a big help!
I came across a personalized heart trinket box which I suppose isn't a typical kinda gift. It's more personal and more thought has gone into it. I love the idea of this and I suppose if you have any trinkets that have been passed down in the family - maybe from your mums mum - that means a lot, you could pop trinkets in here like jewelerry, photo's etc that mean a lot.. so it's more of a personal keepsake and something she can keep forever. More of a memory. You can check out more gifts for mothers day using this link if you wanted -
http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Traditional-Gifts-Mother-s-Day-BN-122Zs6.aspx?tmcampid=8&tmad=c&cm_mmc=google-_-Seasonal%20Search%20-%20For%20Her|Mothers%20Day%20Broad%20%26%20Phrase-_-1_mother's%20day%20gifts-_-Broad&gclid=CPPV7tLV5LUCFUTItAodkUAAiw

Thorntons Personalized Chocolates
This is a great personalized gift! If your mum is a total chocoholic then definitely purchase some! They're personalized so I suppose you could personalize them with 'i love you' or something a bit more different! I personally don't like to buy chocolates for mum because she doesn't like them, but also, because it's not much of a gift.. this is just my own opinion but I think it's something that can't be cherished, remembered and kept.. it's an everyday item!

Perfume
Perfume is the hardest gift. Us bloggers find it HARD to describe a scent, let alone choose one for someone else! I spend about an hour in a perfume section of Boots smelling & testing perfumes WITHOUT buying so picking for someone else would be painful! haha.
Perfume is very personal and something you either hate or love. Finding someone else's signature scent is difficult because they could either love it or hate it. I think  if you got someone's scent wrong, it would go completely downhill.. partly because  perfumes can either be out there, subtle, girly, young, mature, womanly, masculine.. there are all different scents and although a perfume might smell pretty and it says 'Chanel' on the glass bottle, does not mean your mum will like it! If you do want to get her a perfume, maybe ask her what ones she likes.. ask her about her top 5 and then you're not giving the game away. Or maybe, use Boots points.. I know it sounds daft but if you pick her up the Sanctury set for example, you could go perfume shopping with her to let her decide after. Just make sure you pick the right one! Many Jo Malone perfumes are suitable, I think, so you could go with that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope I gave you a small idea of things you could get last minute. Sorry it might have been a bit Cliche but I can't even think of what to get for my mum ahaha!
I hope you and your mum all have a brilliant day together and don't argue as much as me & mine do! Happy mothers day to all!

Lots of love!
Zofia x

March Wishlist | 2013

march wishlist (for my blog)

Hello!
Wednesday again, finally..
I was meant to do this wishlist yesterday because I do it every 5th of the month, but I posted my Sigma code instead so I'm sorry about that.

These wishlists seem to come round SO fast and before I know it, I'm collaging away and looking for things I want..not need!
I like todays post because I think this is my best wishlist so far, sounds crazy but it looks good.. haha! *dizzy moment*

I have quite a few more products than I usually do, just because I got carried away and couldn't wait till next month to show you. All of these things are actually reasonably priced and when I get round to doing some shopping, I hope to get them.. and although I've said that in every post so far - I know I should get one thing off this wishlist, purely because I don't sh about the apocalips to the mother!

Textured Dress | Chiarafashion.co.uk | £19.95
I fell in love as soon as I saw this! I saw this for the same price in New Look in around November time and it's perfect! I love the whole black and white trend at the moment and this is beautiful! Skater/shift dresses are me and I love them. This is absolutely perfect because the flower detail has a textured, felt type feel to it.. love, love, love this! So much!

Rimmel Apocalips | Boots
Not sure how much these are.. not bothered! I really want to try some of these and I knew quite some time ago these would be released and now everyone's on the bandwagon! I love the look of them and I love the reviews. I really wanted to build up a nude lip collection as I don't have any and the nude shade in this looks perfect! I really want to try some of the pink shades too!

Sleek Blusher; Sahara| Superdrug | £4.49
For the price of Sleek, I'm surprised I haven't tried any products. I've never tried any Sleek based items and I'd love to. I plan to!
I'd love to try Nars' Laguna bronzer. Everyone raves and raves and raves about it but I just don't have the bank balance! The packaging of this looks slightly Nars dupe as does the shade.. I may be wrong but going on first impressions I really want to try it. The price is brill too, and everyone loves Sleek so I'm a bit behind!

Sleek Eyeliner; Dazzling Black | Superdrug | £5.99
I love eyeliners. Nearly everyday I wear one. I love how they make my eyes look. I've always been an eyeliner girl and I used to wear it excessively.. most days now, I'm practicing a new look with no eyeliner. Although I wear it everyday, I'm still looking for a perfect eyeliner that defines, doesn't smudge and lasts a long time...one that also creates a neat, thin line. I heard someone on Youtube mention this a few days ago and it looks great and the price is pretty good if I don't get along with it. Another Sleek product that I need to try!

Mesh Playsuit | Missguided.co.uk | £29
I don't want this particular one.. I want a dupe! I love the idea of playsuits and after many years of wanting one, I haven't even got one! I love how pretty they are and the idea of pairing them with sandles and stuff and I feel like these over jumpsuits are much better, because of my height. I love the mesh design and mesh designs are becoming more of a trend for spring now - I've seen them on loads of dresses! This is really pretty.

MAC Viva Glam 2 | MAC | £14
Why do so many people hate this?
I know the shade looks SCARY but I really want this so I can blend it with some pinks and some lipglosses.. I have many ideas for this and I absolutely LOVE the shade! I love Viva Glam 1 and I really want this one. Next time im in London I have actually been promised this so I think I'm going to get it. I love the shade and the more the merrier for charity!

OPI Do You Lilac It? | OPI | £11
I love OPI nail polishes now. I've become obsessed. I love their color range and this  one is b-e-a-utiful! I love lilacs and this one is just the prettiest! I love lilacs for spring and I think I need to unlove my Barry M one now - it's becoming a repetitive one on here! I'm definately going to be getting this, the shade goes well with the lipstick, too!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, don't forget to leave your wishlist links in the comments and I'll check them out! My next post is February Empties so if you're not already, follow me for a follow back so you can keep up with my every 2 day posts!

Lots of love, Zofia x

NOTW | OPI 'Tomorrow Never Dies' Review

Exciting NOTW!

This weeks nails are from OPI. Being a bit of a 'high end virgin' I hadn't tried OPI before so this is my first time!

This nail polish is OPI 'Tomorrow Never Dies' and it's from the James Bond collection. I received this for Christmas and I managed to get two OPI nail polishes, the other I haven't tried yet. I'm not into darks at all but most of the Skyfall collection are actually darks, so instead of sitting there for hours anticipating, I randomly selected one from the OPI website - I ended up with this one!

I do already have a shade like this so it wasn't one I was chewing my left leg off to try, but I did really want to try some OPI nail polishes and see if they're worthy the price tag. I already have a shade like this which is everyones favorite - Barry M 'Vivid Purple'.
Vivid Purple does actually look quite similar to this, but I think it's slightly darker.

This nail polish applied pretty well and dried really well too. I didn't get much on my skin around my nails which means the brush/applicator is one that I prefer because lets face it - I dont have the longest nails! The brush is also quite wide too so I didn't need to redip my brush in. Another bonus is, I only needed one coat so I can see this nail polish lasting quite long. The only slight problem is - it does chip quite quick  Maybe because I wore this on my first day of work and I had to open things or maybe just because I only had one coat.

All in all, I give this a 8/10 scoring and I would repurchase more OPI's because I do want a good collection. For the price, it's a good polish and is really wearable.

Hope you enjoyed this post - lots of love xo

Nail Polishes For Spring!

(L-R) NYC Oh Soho Sweet | Barry M Berry Ice Cream | Rimmel 280 Sunshine | KIKO | Sally Hansen |
Barry M - Mint Green | OPI Nicki Minaj | Ciate My Fair Lady

Hello everyone..
Spring is in the air and it has actually been sunny. I know we always have predicted snow and minus 100c temperatures but, my spirits have been lifted and by the looks of it - the sun has too!

I always class March as spring anyway, no matter what the weather. It's March & it's Spring.. so if we have bad weather - it's a bad spring!
Less of the rambling and more onto the discussion of nail polishes to suit to season.

I love doing these posts 4 times a year (well done Zofia, you've counted the seasons) I've already done a Summer 2012, Autumn 2012 and Winter 2012 post and video on this and I will carry on doing them when the seasons arrive because I'm forever discovering new nail polishes and love wearing darks or brights to match the season.. even if I only do it for the first week or so!

I've been scouring my nail polish shelf today and come across many pretty spring shades. Spring colors are my favorite and pastels are irresistible  You can also carry on your winter nude and red lip obsession for spring too.. nudes are pastels;-)

NYC | Oh Soho Sweet | £1.75
Correct me if the price is wrong! I think I got it on offer.
I love this polish and it is an everyday one. It's perfect for school or work because it's not heavy on the nails and it's a nude. I love this and it's good for staying power!

Ciate | My Fair Lady | £8
I'm not overly keen on this shade, partly because I have a cheaper alternative!

OPI | Nicki Minaj | £11
I love this! I love the color and I love the brand. It's very spring like and a 100% beautiful color! I can't wait to try it!

Barry M | Barry Ice Cream and Mint Green | £2.99 each
Barry M is my fave brand. Pastels are my fave shade. I love these! They apply beautifully and they last a long time. Very cheap too!

Rimmel | 280 Sunshine
I love this shade and I love yellows. Yellows arn't very ideal for pales (if you don't think you suit them) so top up the tan while you're at it!

Sally Hansen
I love this fine, all over the nail glitter. It's more of a shimmer but suits all over the nails. I still have to wear this but it's beautiful!

February Favorites

Herbal Essences Mask | S&G Breakfast Scrub | Unique Boutique Body Butter | Hair Benefits Shampoo/Conditioner | OPI Tomorrow Never Dies | Rimmel Coral In Gold

Another month over, more products tried & tested!
I didn't really know what to choose for my February faves this month, not sure why but I haven't tried many Christmas goodies out yet and so I've been sticking to what I know and using things up.

I've been using things that I maybe wasn't keen on in the past few months, and using products that are 'essentials'. There are one/two products here that I've just decided to use up and give a good go of.. then theres a few products in there that are definately repurchasable! I'm going to go through them and tell you all my favorites of February!

Tulisa | Honest | WHSmith
I love Tulisa! Many people have their opinion on her and many of them are really made up of the newspapers and websites and magazines that arn't worth paying for because they're lies. Obviously everyone can have their say because we all have an opinion on everyone. My opinion on her is nothing but niceness because I DO see her as a role model and idol whether or not shes had a 'sextape' and she's from a bad area. Doesn't bother me, because on top of that she's achieved many things and quite a lot of people like her! I love her and for Christmas I received her book.. that I asked for;)
I enjoyed reading this and it was a definite favorite. I suggest you all go and have a read if you have a bad opinion on her..your mind will certainly change!

OPI | Tomorrow Never Dies | £11
This was the first OPI nail polish that I've tried so I HAD to put it in my faves! You'll see a NOTW post on these soon so I'm not going to go in detail but I enjoyed using it and want to collect more of the collection *TKmaxx calls me* and I want to collect more OPI's!

Hair Benefits | Tesco | £1.87
Love this! It's become my everyday shampoo and conditioner and I love how silky my hair becomes. I've never been bothered by Tesco hair products because I've never really been overly attracted to the 'cheaper' brand.. I use elvive etc. I like this though and it seems to look like an elvive dupe. Repurchasable!

Herbal Essences | Hair Mask | £1
I was having a quick look in Poundland and came across this, I've been using it once a week and although its not a 'mask' and it's more of a conditioner, I like it. It was only a pound and it's something I'll always add to my basket. I want to try more hair masks to compare but this will always be a go to item now. I love the smell and it's lightweight on my hair. I will be doing a better review, so hold on in there!

Breakfast Scrub | Soap&Glory | £9.50
Had it ages, never bothered with it. I've never been a scrub/exfoliating type girl but because it needs using *it's probably screaming to escape the tub* I decided to use it and I love it! I use this at most 3 times a week and finish it with any body butter. I love it and it leaves me with such a silky smooth outcome! I love the smell too and before Christmas I said I hated it.. nomore!

Coral In Gold | Rimmel | £4.49
I've had this in my makeup collection for years. Never really used it because strangely, I thought it was a matte orange.. what was I thinking! Back in the day, that was the look I wanted to achieve though..
It's a very sheer lipstick and very balmy. I always team this up with a little bit of red lipstick to 'vamp it up' but it's seriously fine on it's own with a smoky or brown eye. I've finally found a lipstick I love and one I can use everyday. All this week I've been wearing it and I love it! Old lipstick - yes.. good lipstick - yes!

Unique Boutique | Body Butter
I picked this up in Tesco quite a while ago. I stopped using it because of the scent. I'm not very keen on 'wild rose' scents and this one smells a lot like it. I've warmed to the smell now and it's NOT going to put me off because I love the thickness of the butter and it leaves me silky smooth! I also love the packaging because it's a glass tub and very chic! I love the thick, rich, luxury whitness of the product and it's a shame it's not repurchasable! It was also a bargain item that I got in discontinued stock..whey!

I hope you've all had a brilliant Feb and roll on Spring! One step closer now for all you summer babies!
Had any stand out products this February?
x

Eau De Lacoste..Pour Femme | Review

Hello everyone, hope you've all had a brilliant week. Don't worry, we're halfway through the week!

I've got an awesome sample to show you all today and it's a good one!
I'm a perfume lover. I'm also a freebie lover! So when Magic Freebies advertised this freebie on their website, I was over the moon! I believe that freebies are a better way to find out new, bad/good and quality/non quality products. I know MANY bloggers are subscribed to monthly Glossyboxes but I seriously can't see the hype in PAYING £10 a month to get samples? In a way, it's a pretty good idea and I surely will try it out one day, but £10 to me is a bit pricey!

I entered my details and waited for the sample. Normally, perfume samples come on a postcard shape with a smelly bit on them. You can't actually test them out. When this arrived in a ROLLERBALL I was more than pleased!

I've never tried a Lacoste perfume but the Lacoste Touch Of Pink was more than tempting! I had a cheeky try at this when it arrived, just to test the smell and how long it lasts. The rollerball contains enough perfume to last me ages so that's a bonus.
The perfume lasted on my wrist around 2 hours.. to me that's pretty okay, but I suppose if you had an 8 hour shift in the office, it's not ideal!

This is actually the first time I've reviewed a perfume and many people say describing and reviewing perfumes is difficult - I agree but this perfume is so lovely that it's plain and simple!
The perfume is very fresh and clean. It's that type of perfume to wear on a fresh, spring day just after a shower. It has hints of floral in it, but not overly floral. I think it's suited to many people and could be used as an everyday scent. It's not overpowering.

I give this perfume a 9 out of 10. The only downfall is that it's not very longlasting BUT a bonus is that the rollerball is handbag friendly for allday, everyday use!

Eau de Lacoste is a new feminine fragrance, the equivalent of the L.12.12 men's fragrance collection. The perfume comes on the market in early 2013.
This rich fragrance of white flowers recalls clean white cotton shirt scent. It is made of notes of white pineapple, mandarin and bergamot at the top; Sambac jasmine, orange blossom and pineapple blossom in the heart, and sandalwood, peru balsam, vetiver and vanilla in the base.
Bottle design is inspired by the shape of a tennis ball. It exudes simplicity and universality which are ideologies of the Lacoste brand.
The face of the campaign is actress Amy Adams. Eau de Lacoste is available as 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum with additional body lotion and shower gel.

Eau De Lacoste is available in 30, 50 and 90ml bottles. Body lotion and shower gels are also available.

NOTW | MUA

Hello everyone, hope you all had a brill weekend!
Just a quick NOTW today, seeing as I've shown you this one before.

I only just looked at my schedule and realized I have a post today, so I'm JUST before midnight;)

This weeks nails are by MUA so they only cost £2 to create - because I used stickers which totaled to £1 -
This nail polish is the £1 MUA one. It's shade 16. I absolutely LOVE it and it's so smooth to apply. It's a proper Spring/Summer color and it'll be a go to one for this year.

I used Poundland's nail stickers for the floral effect on one finger which really adds a pretty touch. Click HERE to see the ones I used, seeing as I've used no pictures.

I hope you like these nails and leave me links to your nails of the week!

Lots of love, x

How I'd Style | Pink Neon Blazer..

(blog)
Topshop Blazer | Black Chiffon Shirt | Disco Pants | MAC Viva Glam | NEXT Studded Ballerinas

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! *payday, woo!*
I hope you have all had a good week.
I can only but *again* apologize for not posting this up on the day I posted my previous post on. I've been having a ridiculous sleeping pattern meaning I've been gettig up at 4 - which isn't good and shouldn't be used as an excuse! But, I just forgot to post this up and so I decided to do it today because on the day it was meant to be posted - Polyvore was a wally and deleted it!

I like doing these posts, I really enjoyed doing my previous one and I thought I'd do a small little series on my blog once a week or something called 'How I'd Style..' I love putting outfits together and I'm a big polyvore lover so it's a really good idea I think!

I never go clothes shopping, I have a small collection of clothes but I promised myself that this year, I'd get a bigger clothes collection, instead of keeping the same style of look.

In this post, I've styled a neon blazer. Neon is really in at the moment and sometimes, it can look a little 'out there' so I think some people shy away from neon. I've styled this blazer so it's something that's the main focus of the outfit.. if that makes sense!

I think black and pink go really well. In this outfit I've made the bright pink look quite formal, yet casual. This outfit would be good on a Friday night for drinks or for a meeting. I kept all the other pieces black and simple because the blazer is the quick 'pop of color' *cringeeee*.

I hope you liked this outfit, like I always say, I love makeup more than I do fashion BUT I want to include different posts on my blog - not just the usual!

TOPSHOP Ponche Noute Blazer | Topshop | £52

How I'd Style.. Pattern Leggings!

(blog)
Embellished Lace Peplum | Cameo Rose Leggings | Miso Wedges | MUA polish
Hello everyone!
Sorry that this post is late and I haven't blogged since Friday. I'm meant to blog every 2 days and I kinda broke the rule already! I'll post yesterdays post after this one though - you won't miss out!

I never really do Style or Fashion posts on here, I should really..it's not just a makeup blog!
The other day, I decided on a few style/outfit/fashion posts to do and posts that I'd know a little bit about. I'm not the best at fashion - it's not something I'm really overly interested in..but, it's something I enjoy.

This post is a short post (i hope, unless I ramble!) on how I'd style pattern leggings. Pattern leggings can be really difficult to wear and style. I've never had a pair just because they'd be stuck in the wardrobe lonely.. I'd never manage to style them or work them well.

There's always a motto for patterned jeans, trousers, shorts etc.. don't wear them if they're not for your figure. I have quite big hips so I never feel like I'd work them and wear them well because of this. I think they suit slim legs.. but if YOU feel confident in them go for it!

I've never felt like I know what top to put them with, but after mooching about online and looking at numerous websites, I've come up with what I think - a good top!
Peplums have been really in style for around a year now and I'm a proud owner of a few! I love them and think if you put them with a good pair of trousers, jeans or leggings, they look great! I really want to style a peplum with a pair of shorts this summer so bring on the heat!

I love this peplum, I love the embellishments and I don't think they overpower the trousers. The trousers are very 'out there' so they were hard to style! I think the top is pretty plain even though it's lacy.

Shoes are quite hard to style with pattern trousers because they're meant to be paired up with the trousers to match. I think plain black wedges suited the diamonds on the trousers and they were really simple to pair up.

As a makeup lover, I thought the nude MUA love hearts nail polish was the best nail polish to use, as nude goes with anything!

I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you enjoyed the clothes used. In my next post, I'm styling a certain type jacket/blazer so keep a look out! All items used will be listed below;

Lace Embellished Top | £22 | Next.co.uk or In Store
Miso Black Wedges | £40 | Republic
