NOTW | Beautiful Blue!

MUA Mystical Glitter Nails in the shade 'Mermaid'.
Hello everyone..
NOTW time today and I have a beautiful colour on! I absolutely love it!
It's a nail polish from MUA which I don't have many of and I never seem to feature on my blog!

This is the only Glitter one I have or have tried from MUA and the first time I've used it - I got this all the way back at Christmas time and have never used it.
I love the shade and it's the perfect time to wear it seeing as it's sunny and we're in the summer season.

I've never tried a glitter polish that is perfect for all over the nail. The glitters I have are like the NYC one featured in this post.. they're sparse glitters and add effects to the nails instead of using them as a polish. I absolutely love the way this applied and how it covered my whole nail in 1 coat. I wore this for a week too, without any chips.

I added some 'Lights-Camera-Glitter' polish from NYC to add a gradient glitter effect to the nails. I love using this and it went perfect with the base colour.
10/10 for these nail polishes and I'd definitely repurchase more of the MUA mystical ones!

Have you tried any of these?
What did you think?

NOTW | Animated Red

Hello everyone - quick NOTW!
This week I decided to go for Red&Gold.. seems ever so christmassy but I thought it looked summery because the red isn't deep and 'blood red' it's a summery red - it's light.

The nail polish is Animated, by LA Colours. I always pick these up from Westfield and you all know I love them! I added some gold, gradient glitter which shimmers in the sun! I love these two together and at the moment, I've been loving gradient glitter nails so I thought I'd do some!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post, I'm glad I'm back to blogging again!

Lots of love x

NOTW | Spring Green

I have the heat. I have the sun. I have the nail polish to match.
Ahhh..May!

This week I have a Barry M polish on. I love Barry's polishes, bless his heart..;-) so I decided to buy another! Ever since I started being a Barry M lover, I always had my eye on this certain polish. I liked the look of it because it's a basic green and a certain green that I like.

It's called Spring Green - I wouldn't say it was Spring Green because Spring colours are lighter than this and I call this a 'Monopoly Oxford Street' green. Meaning, emerald..
I love the application of this, it's really good and it's like the other Barry M's.

Thumbs up for this one - £2.99 well spent!

Have a brilliant weekend and I'll speak to you all on Sunday for a Prom Makeup look! (I'll try my best!)

Lots of love, Zofia x

NOTW | OPI

Hello everyone, exciting NOTW today! I absolutely love how the suns meant to be appearing with HEAT this weekend.. so I decided to have a spring/summer colour to match!

I love this colour and the brand and I love how I applied this for London on Friday and near a week later, I only have a few chips! OPI do excellent polishes and they've worked well two times now so I'm made up!

I love this shade and I love how S/S it is. It's perfect for Spring and matched well with the grass in the top photo! It's such a smooth polish too and has no shimmer - which is an extra bonus.
I love the shade type it is because it's something quite different in my collection. It's quite lime/yellow green and suits my skin shade quite well too. I'm quite olive skinned so it seems to look perfect!

I hope you like this NOTW and like the shade!

Have you been applying any spring/summer shades yet, or are you waiting for a heatwave? Zofia! x

Nail Designs For Spring

Hi everyone, this post was meant to be be up at 7.30 like my other posts usually are ... but I was in the bath until 7.30 so it's slightly late!

It's just a quick one anyway, I just wanted to show you a few nail designs for spring, what patterns I thought would be good and a few designs using the colours I mentioned in a pervious post.

I'm loving gradient nails at the moment, using pastels and gold shimmer - I really like the nail look I created using 'gradient' effect. I think it looks best on longer nails, I tried it on mine but it didn't quite work 'cause they're short.

I decided to do a few floral designs seeing as Spring is floral and all the leaves and green are coming out. I decided to do a tree design and a flower in the center of the nail. I also done a dandilion because you normally see them in the spring too!

Polka dot, butterfly and chick designs are my fave because I think these came out the best!

I hope you liked this short and cheerful post, I hope you like the designs too!
If you create any spring designs or use any spring colours on your nails, please leave me a photo/link below! I'd love to see them and get some inspiration!

NOTW | Classic Red

Nails of the week time!
I didn't do last times NOTW because I haven't really painted my nails in a short while. I don't like having breaks, I like painting them all the time so sometimes they look pretty scruffy!

I can only but apologise that these look scruffy. They look scruffy because my cuticles are in a state and I never stop chomping away..nevermind! It's the color that matters - ha!

This weeks nails arn't branded but I do love them. I love classic red colors and it's the time of year where pastels are needed..but the weather doesn't suit them! It's still not the season! So I went for a classic red because it's the perfect in between!

I got this color from an unbranded makeup set. It applied well and I love the shade. I used a top coat, too.

Because it's unbranded, I thought I'd give you a list of nail polishes similar to this!

NOTW | Mirror Black

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing okay!
Another NOTW post for you today, I enjoy doing these and they've become a regular series on my blog.

This weeks nails are very shimmery, black and 'party' like. They ARE a bit scuffed and scruffy and not done to my best ability, partly because this picture wasn't taken soon as I done them and I had to go to work straight after I done these so they got a little bit ruined and when I was applying them, I was in a bad rush - so apologies for that one!

The nail polish I used is Goldigga and as far as I know, I've never had any of their products before and they've never taken any interest to me. I got a set of three for Christmas and in the set included a pink & gold - plus this one. If I'm guessing right, I think these are from Savers.

Soon as I saw this polish I loved it and the color was perfect. I don't have a big collection of blacks and I loved this black polish especially because of the gold shimmers. I do like black polish and it's such a basic color but I personally think the perfect one is hard to find. I like black polishes that don't leave a mess on the nails & skin and black polishes that apply really well and don't chip quick. If a black polish chips, it doesn't look overly bad but it'd not the best! I think black polishes are really classy and simplistic and obviously go with everything! The gold shimmer adds a hint of girlyness and party look to the black, block color.

I applied this and it looked perfect. I then painted each and every fingernail on my left hand while in a rush. While it was drying, I carried on with my makeup. After 10 minutes I checked to see if it was dry and they weren't.. they felt quite sticky and gloopy which I HATE in a nail polish. I then took it off and tried to reapply. By this time, I had to leave it on for work so I tried my best to dry it somehow. I used the hairdryer! They managed to dry and they look pretty nice so I decided to use Glamour magazine's Nails Inc polish for extra shimmer and a bit of clear gloss. It hasn't chipped very easy.

I like this polish and I love the color a lot. I had a bit of problem with the application but this was probably because I was in a rush. All in all, 6.5/10!

March Wishlist | 2013

march wishlist (for my blog)

Hello!
Wednesday again, finally..
I was meant to do this wishlist yesterday because I do it every 5th of the month, but I posted my Sigma code instead so I'm sorry about that.

These wishlists seem to come round SO fast and before I know it, I'm collaging away and looking for things I want..not need!
I like todays post because I think this is my best wishlist so far, sounds crazy but it looks good.. haha! *dizzy moment*

I have quite a few more products than I usually do, just because I got carried away and couldn't wait till next month to show you. All of these things are actually reasonably priced and when I get round to doing some shopping, I hope to get them.. and although I've said that in every post so far - I know I should get one thing off this wishlist, purely because I don't sh about the apocalips to the mother!

Textured Dress | Chiarafashion.co.uk | £19.95
I fell in love as soon as I saw this! I saw this for the same price in New Look in around November time and it's perfect! I love the whole black and white trend at the moment and this is beautiful! Skater/shift dresses are me and I love them. This is absolutely perfect because the flower detail has a textured, felt type feel to it.. love, love, love this! So much!

Rimmel Apocalips | Boots
Not sure how much these are.. not bothered! I really want to try some of these and I knew quite some time ago these would be released and now everyone's on the bandwagon! I love the look of them and I love the reviews. I really wanted to build up a nude lip collection as I don't have any and the nude shade in this looks perfect! I really want to try some of the pink shades too!

Sleek Blusher; Sahara| Superdrug | £4.49
For the price of Sleek, I'm surprised I haven't tried any products. I've never tried any Sleek based items and I'd love to. I plan to!
I'd love to try Nars' Laguna bronzer. Everyone raves and raves and raves about it but I just don't have the bank balance! The packaging of this looks slightly Nars dupe as does the shade.. I may be wrong but going on first impressions I really want to try it. The price is brill too, and everyone loves Sleek so I'm a bit behind!

Sleek Eyeliner; Dazzling Black | Superdrug | £5.99
I love eyeliners. Nearly everyday I wear one. I love how they make my eyes look. I've always been an eyeliner girl and I used to wear it excessively.. most days now, I'm practicing a new look with no eyeliner. Although I wear it everyday, I'm still looking for a perfect eyeliner that defines, doesn't smudge and lasts a long time...one that also creates a neat, thin line. I heard someone on Youtube mention this a few days ago and it looks great and the price is pretty good if I don't get along with it. Another Sleek product that I need to try!

Mesh Playsuit | Missguided.co.uk | £29
I don't want this particular one.. I want a dupe! I love the idea of playsuits and after many years of wanting one, I haven't even got one! I love how pretty they are and the idea of pairing them with sandles and stuff and I feel like these over jumpsuits are much better, because of my height. I love the mesh design and mesh designs are becoming more of a trend for spring now - I've seen them on loads of dresses! This is really pretty.

MAC Viva Glam 2 | MAC | £14
Why do so many people hate this?
I know the shade looks SCARY but I really want this so I can blend it with some pinks and some lipglosses.. I have many ideas for this and I absolutely LOVE the shade! I love Viva Glam 1 and I really want this one. Next time im in London I have actually been promised this so I think I'm going to get it. I love the shade and the more the merrier for charity!

OPI Do You Lilac It? | OPI | £11
I love OPI nail polishes now. I've become obsessed. I love their color range and this  one is b-e-a-utiful! I love lilacs and this one is just the prettiest! I love lilacs for spring and I think I need to unlove my Barry M one now - it's becoming a repetitive one on here! I'm definately going to be getting this, the shade goes well with the lipstick, too!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, don't forget to leave your wishlist links in the comments and I'll check them out! My next post is February Empties so if you're not already, follow me for a follow back so you can keep up with my every 2 day posts!

Lots of love, Zofia x

NOTW | OPI 'Tomorrow Never Dies' Review

Exciting NOTW!

This weeks nails are from OPI. Being a bit of a 'high end virgin' I hadn't tried OPI before so this is my first time!

This nail polish is OPI 'Tomorrow Never Dies' and it's from the James Bond collection. I received this for Christmas and I managed to get two OPI nail polishes, the other I haven't tried yet. I'm not into darks at all but most of the Skyfall collection are actually darks, so instead of sitting there for hours anticipating, I randomly selected one from the OPI website - I ended up with this one!

I do already have a shade like this so it wasn't one I was chewing my left leg off to try, but I did really want to try some OPI nail polishes and see if they're worthy the price tag. I already have a shade like this which is everyones favorite - Barry M 'Vivid Purple'.
Vivid Purple does actually look quite similar to this, but I think it's slightly darker.

This nail polish applied pretty well and dried really well too. I didn't get much on my skin around my nails which means the brush/applicator is one that I prefer because lets face it - I dont have the longest nails! The brush is also quite wide too so I didn't need to redip my brush in. Another bonus is, I only needed one coat so I can see this nail polish lasting quite long. The only slight problem is - it does chip quite quick  Maybe because I wore this on my first day of work and I had to open things or maybe just because I only had one coat.

All in all, I give this a 8/10 scoring and I would repurchase more OPI's because I do want a good collection. For the price, it's a good polish and is really wearable.

Hope you enjoyed this post - lots of love xo

Nail Polishes For Spring!

(L-R) NYC Oh Soho Sweet | Barry M Berry Ice Cream | Rimmel 280 Sunshine | KIKO | Sally Hansen |
Barry M - Mint Green | OPI Nicki Minaj | Ciate My Fair Lady

Hello everyone..
Spring is in the air and it has actually been sunny. I know we always have predicted snow and minus 100c temperatures but, my spirits have been lifted and by the looks of it - the sun has too!

I always class March as spring anyway, no matter what the weather. It's March & it's Spring.. so if we have bad weather - it's a bad spring!
Less of the rambling and more onto the discussion of nail polishes to suit to season.

I love doing these posts 4 times a year (well done Zofia, you've counted the seasons) I've already done a Summer 2012, Autumn 2012 and Winter 2012 post and video on this and I will carry on doing them when the seasons arrive because I'm forever discovering new nail polishes and love wearing darks or brights to match the season.. even if I only do it for the first week or so!

I've been scouring my nail polish shelf today and come across many pretty spring shades. Spring colors are my favorite and pastels are irresistible  You can also carry on your winter nude and red lip obsession for spring too.. nudes are pastels;-)

NYC | Oh Soho Sweet | £1.75
Correct me if the price is wrong! I think I got it on offer.
I love this polish and it is an everyday one. It's perfect for school or work because it's not heavy on the nails and it's a nude. I love this and it's good for staying power!

Ciate | My Fair Lady | £8
I'm not overly keen on this shade, partly because I have a cheaper alternative!

OPI | Nicki Minaj | £11
I love this! I love the color and I love the brand. It's very spring like and a 100% beautiful color! I can't wait to try it!

Barry M | Barry Ice Cream and Mint Green | £2.99 each
Barry M is my fave brand. Pastels are my fave shade. I love these! They apply beautifully and they last a long time. Very cheap too!

Rimmel | 280 Sunshine
I love this shade and I love yellows. Yellows arn't very ideal for pales (if you don't think you suit them) so top up the tan while you're at it!

Sally Hansen
I love this fine, all over the nail glitter. It's more of a shimmer but suits all over the nails. I still have to wear this but it's beautiful!

February Favorites

Herbal Essences Mask | S&G Breakfast Scrub | Unique Boutique Body Butter | Hair Benefits Shampoo/Conditioner | OPI Tomorrow Never Dies | Rimmel Coral In Gold

Another month over, more products tried & tested!
I didn't really know what to choose for my February faves this month, not sure why but I haven't tried many Christmas goodies out yet and so I've been sticking to what I know and using things up.

I've been using things that I maybe wasn't keen on in the past few months, and using products that are 'essentials'. There are one/two products here that I've just decided to use up and give a good go of.. then theres a few products in there that are definately repurchasable! I'm going to go through them and tell you all my favorites of February!

Tulisa | Honest | WHSmith
I love Tulisa! Many people have their opinion on her and many of them are really made up of the newspapers and websites and magazines that arn't worth paying for because they're lies. Obviously everyone can have their say because we all have an opinion on everyone. My opinion on her is nothing but niceness because I DO see her as a role model and idol whether or not shes had a 'sextape' and she's from a bad area. Doesn't bother me, because on top of that she's achieved many things and quite a lot of people like her! I love her and for Christmas I received her book.. that I asked for;)
I enjoyed reading this and it was a definite favorite. I suggest you all go and have a read if you have a bad opinion on her..your mind will certainly change!

OPI | Tomorrow Never Dies | £11
This was the first OPI nail polish that I've tried so I HAD to put it in my faves! You'll see a NOTW post on these soon so I'm not going to go in detail but I enjoyed using it and want to collect more of the collection *TKmaxx calls me* and I want to collect more OPI's!

Hair Benefits | Tesco | £1.87
Love this! It's become my everyday shampoo and conditioner and I love how silky my hair becomes. I've never been bothered by Tesco hair products because I've never really been overly attracted to the 'cheaper' brand.. I use elvive etc. I like this though and it seems to look like an elvive dupe. Repurchasable!

Herbal Essences | Hair Mask | £1
I was having a quick look in Poundland and came across this, I've been using it once a week and although its not a 'mask' and it's more of a conditioner, I like it. It was only a pound and it's something I'll always add to my basket. I want to try more hair masks to compare but this will always be a go to item now. I love the smell and it's lightweight on my hair. I will be doing a better review, so hold on in there!

Breakfast Scrub | Soap&Glory | £9.50
Had it ages, never bothered with it. I've never been a scrub/exfoliating type girl but because it needs using *it's probably screaming to escape the tub* I decided to use it and I love it! I use this at most 3 times a week and finish it with any body butter. I love it and it leaves me with such a silky smooth outcome! I love the smell too and before Christmas I said I hated it.. nomore!

Coral In Gold | Rimmel | £4.49
I've had this in my makeup collection for years. Never really used it because strangely, I thought it was a matte orange.. what was I thinking! Back in the day, that was the look I wanted to achieve though..
It's a very sheer lipstick and very balmy. I always team this up with a little bit of red lipstick to 'vamp it up' but it's seriously fine on it's own with a smoky or brown eye. I've finally found a lipstick I love and one I can use everyday. All this week I've been wearing it and I love it! Old lipstick - yes.. good lipstick - yes!

Unique Boutique | Body Butter
I picked this up in Tesco quite a while ago. I stopped using it because of the scent. I'm not very keen on 'wild rose' scents and this one smells a lot like it. I've warmed to the smell now and it's NOT going to put me off because I love the thickness of the butter and it leaves me silky smooth! I also love the packaging because it's a glass tub and very chic! I love the thick, rich, luxury whitness of the product and it's a shame it's not repurchasable! It was also a bargain item that I got in discontinued stock..whey!

I hope you've all had a brilliant Feb and roll on Spring! One step closer now for all you summer babies!
Had any stand out products this February?
x

NOTW | MUA

Hello everyone, hope you all had a brill weekend!
Just a quick NOTW today, seeing as I've shown you this one before.

I only just looked at my schedule and realized I have a post today, so I'm JUST before midnight;)

This weeks nails are by MUA so they only cost £2 to create - because I used stickers which totaled to £1 -
This nail polish is the £1 MUA one. It's shade 16. I absolutely LOVE it and it's so smooth to apply. It's a proper Spring/Summer color and it'll be a go to one for this year.

I used Poundland's nail stickers for the floral effect on one finger which really adds a pretty touch. Click HERE to see the ones I used, seeing as I've used no pictures.

I hope you like these nails and leave me links to your nails of the week!

Lots of love, x

NOTW | 17 Magnetize Nail Polish

Another week, another NOTW post!
I really enjoy doing these posts and showing you all what nail polishes I've been using recently and which ones I wouldn't buy again..this is a buy again!

I love all the effect nail polishes.. crackle, glitter, fur, magnet etc.. the list is endless. Even Chanel do a leather effect! Over the past two years, I think effect type nails have been popular a lot more. I remember getting a crackle nail polish back in 2011 and never really used it.. so I thought this would be another novelty product I'd get for Christmas and it'd be stuck at the back of my shelf going gloopy.

This is the first time I've tried a magnet effect nail polish and the thought of it seemed really good and worth a try. Back in December I had a voucher in my Boots magazine for half price or some sort of money off on 17 Magnetize Nail Polishes. I asked mum to pick it up and give me it for Christmas. I didn't actually mind what color I had, although I know that they do a green and blue and silver shade. My shade is green.

I didn't quite understand how to apply it first, so it took me a few thumb attempts to get it.. it's really simple but I'm a bit silly, ha!
To apply, you apply the nail polish and while it's wet, remove the top of the nail polish (picture 1) and push the magnet onto your nail. This is the part that made me feel a bit weird because the thought of a magnet on my nail was a bit strange but after I applied it to one finger, the rest were simple and I was ok with it.

The only bit I didn't like was how some of the nail polish on the tip of my fingernail slightly stuck to the magnet and a little bit (only the slightest bit!) got taken off my nail, so I slightly filled it in with the brush.

I also want to apologize for the state of my fingers in these pictures, I'm forever having bad skin around my nails!
Overall, I would buy magnet effect nail polishes often if I had some spare money or had some points on my card - definitely worth it and the effect was pretty impressive!

If you've tried any of these, what do you think of them?
Worth it or not?

February Wishlist
NEXT Sandals | Barry M Touch Of Magic Lippaint | ELF HD Blush | Rimmel Cocktail Color | Dior Airflash Foundation | MUA Cover&Conceal

A whole month ago I started the Monthly Wishlists and woah, it's gone slow..
February is going quite slow too and although I didn't manage to get anything off last months wishlist, I hope to get a few things off this months.
(I'll still purchase things off January's wishlist though, ha!)

NEXT Jeweled Sandals | NEXT.co.uk | £23.
Summer (hopefully) is on it's way, although we had snow two weeks ago and there are still clouds in the sky. This year I plan to build up a shoe collection and have already started to buy summer sandals. I saw a pair in the New Look sale that were exactly like these for about £5, but I didn't like the fact they were pink. I'm a lover of nude shoes/sandals and these really caught my fancy! I love the jeweled parts and think they suit the nude color. They look like they'd go with everything and anything and would be good for everyday wear.

Barry M Touch Of Magic Lippaint | Barry M/Boots | £4.49
How late am I on this.. I've been wanting this for years and have been trying to get it for ages, everytime I'm in Boots I do a swatch and see what shade it turns out like! I think it's a great idea and I WILL get this in February!

ELF HD Blush | ELF.co.uk | £3.75
I've been wanting to do a big shop on ELF.co.uk for ages and I'm always checking out their website for new products and bargain items. I really liked the look of the shade and the packaging for this and for nearly £4.. it's worth a try. They only do pink shades and really, that's what I'm looking for. I'm not really a 'Blush Collector' and it's not something I have the most of, but, a cream blush is what I want to start using and this looks like a good product.
'Rich and creamy HD Blush naturally sculpts and highlights the cheekbones for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use.'

Rimmel Cocktail Color | Rimmel/Boots | £3.99
These are a novelty item. In swatches, these are basically shimmery nail polishes available in red, orange and purple. I liked the shades and Rimmel nail polishes always turn out good and stay on the nails well. I'm keen on the red shade because I need more reds, and I like the shimmery effects. These are quite new and have only gone into Boots stores recently.

Doir Airflash | Dior | £30
Ah. I love this.
The other day I had to pop into Boots to pick up a Dior BB creme sample - I got more than I bargained for! I managed to pick up a sample of this and the BB creme.. thankyou to the lady at the Dior counter in Boots for that!
I never really like going to beauty counters, especially for samples because they're a little standoff-ish when you ask for samples and you're not actually making a purchase, but this lady, at first, seemed like that and me&mum didn't know what to say haha, after we mentioned the sample she seemed really lovely and sat mum in the chair to get swatched. She mentioned that the BB creme wasn't high coverage and that she would still give us the sample but she wanted to try the Dior airflash on her and see how it turned out. It's a spray on foundation (to put it in the easy terms) and then you blend with a brush. At first i thought it was a bit OTT but once blended the coverage was brilliant and I really liked it. I probably won't manage to buy this (especially because of the price tag) but it's really a great foundation.

MUA Cover&Conceal Concealer | MUAstore.co.uk or Superdrug | £1.50
Recently, I've been wanting to try a few concealers, especially drugstore ones, and when MUA posted this on their Facebook page, I wanted to try it. I'm still yet to buy the Collection 2000 one and still to buy the Natural Collection one, but I want to try this aswell because it's slightly cheaper and MUA never disappoint!

I hope you all enjoyed this slightly long wishlist post and I hope I didn't bore you all! I feel like this was needed because I haven't blogged in a while and like I keep saying, I promise to do more posts but I just don't know what you lot want to see so comment below and I'll try!

What do you have your eye on this February?

NOTW | Glitter, Lilac, Gold

I absolutely love lilac nails. Barry M's lilac shade is my ultimate favorite and don't think another would compare. I recently saw a post of someone using the gold glitter from Barry M which I think is quite new and wanted to purchase it myself. While I was in Savers I saw a gold glitter that looked exactly the same and it was only £1. The Barry M one was a small price of £2.99 but hey, I got a bargain!

I love thick particles of glitter as much as I love the small particles but I DON'T like the removal! So so so annoying, but worth it.
I think this lilac shade suits the gold really well and it suits the large particles well too. I love the gold glitter because you can build it up to be quite thick *which is a pain to get off* or you can apply it on bare nails just to do a light cover with no base.

Do you like gold/lilac?
Have you been wearing glitter lately?

NOTW | Pauls Nails

Pauls Nails | £15.99 | Bank.com or BANK stores

Hello everyone! This is my first NOTW post in January so ofcourse, I'm using a nail polish that I acquired for Christmas! This week, I'm using Pauls Nails. If you all don't know, yes, it's Pauls Boutique. I know everyone isn't highly keen on Pauls Boutique and I'm not a major fan. I don't necessarily get Fashion items from there, although I am keen on the bags. I don't like the coats as so much - I'd never buy one! But hey, each to their own!

I got this set for Christmas; it includes a set of 3 'Pauls Nails'. I'm really keen on the set and the colors are all really nice. Purple, Gold and Pink. This is one that took my fancy and I really like the light shimmery shade. I don't have many shimmery nail polishes so this is one that I really wanted to try first.

This is such a subtle  gold, shimmery shade that applies really smooth to the nails. I was surprised that it set so quickly and dried within 3-4 minutes. It's not a very thick polish which I quite like because it's not heavy and doesn't make me realize I have nail polish on which is a bonus, because I normally peel it off by 2 days which drives me mad! It hasn't really chipped which is obviously the biggest bonus! I also really like the brush - I have short nails (as you can tell) and I really detest when a lovely nail polish has a long brush that makes my skin painted instead of my nails!
All in all, I think this is a brilliant polish and such a bargain at £15 for three nail polishes. I think the nail polish bottle is really simple and not tacky looking and I would definitely repurchase!

Ideal Nail Polishes For Winter!

NYC - Oh-Soho-Sweet | Ciate - Wait Until Dark | Rimmel - Passion | MUA shade 16 | LA Colors | LA Color - Energy Source | KIKO | Barry - Mushroom | NO7 | Rimmel - Blackout | Barry M - Vivid Purple | A gift set nail polish | MUA |

I'm really into nail polishes at the moment. I have quite a collection of brands and miscellaneous nail polishes, blues to reds, greens to pinks.. but I'm really not a lover of deep dark shades - I like them but I just prefer bright, out there shades.
A while back I swatched some wintery shades on a nail wheel for you all, just to show you what nail polishes I would wear if I liked dark shades!

Most of these you've all heard before and so I'm sorry but like I say I don't really collect dark shades and this was photo'd quite a while back so I have gained a few dark un's since!
Most of these shades are the same but also affordable.

My favorite shade from this collection has to be NYC high line green or Rimmel's passion. Some of the nail polishes haven't been swatched so bear with me!
I love Passion because I'm a lover of Matte red shades but don't have enough of them! As for high line green .. I love this! I loved this ever since I bought it and it's actually the only deep green I have in my collection! I think it's a winter shade because its dark but still a fun shade.. I also think it stays on the nails for a good amount of time and the price is also a bonus!

In winter, I do prefer Matte shades. I personally think that shimmery shades are more autumn/summer colors, but whatever takes your fancy! As I've always said, I never really follow seasons or trends in certain things, I just go with whatever!
Another shade that I think is perfect for Winter is the deep red N07 shade. I'm fussy with no7 and everyone knows this! I love the shade and think vampy colors are great for this season.
An easy way to keep up with the season - Use vampy, deep shades for the perfect look.

Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it helped you out a little!
